Gwen and david were performing in prestons remake of hamilton with david and preston sharing the role as hamilton and gwen playing mariah reynolds but david stepping in as hamilton when mariah uhhh does him. Gwen and david were at the snack table backstage in their costumes eating.
David was drinking water from all that dancing he did in act one,
“wow, preston must really love hamilton!”
david beamed, while drinking out of his red solo cup
“yeah, i saw it live it was great.” gwen noted
“alright everyone, PLACES”
david looked at gwen with a smile
“thats our cue!”
david goes to the shitty desk the quartermaster made for the play and sat down with the fake quill as
“say no to this” karaoke version played just to cut the vocals, As max walked around the stage as aaron burr and it came to davids part he sang and it came to gwens part, he heard how gwen voiced her part, she must have taken some lessons! David thought, as she walked over to david seductively and kissed him (for the scene of course) david felt a tingle down his spine.
But then Later on in him and gwen's performance where, gwen got to her knees and sang with a beggar look in her eyes and her borderline tears out of acting, david felt the emotion that hamilton felt in the musical during his affair and got too carried away, as gwen sang “please dont go sir!” david felt a fiery anger rising up, higher, and higher, til he snapped and smacked gwen.
That wasn't apart of the script.
David snapped out of it when he realized what he had done, he looked down at gwen on the stage floor with a hard red, hand mark on the right side of her cheek holding it with both of her hands out of pain, looking at david aghast of what he had done “uhm..” david squeaked in a panic and ran off to the dock by the lake.
