Chapter Text

jyugo:

✗ when you and jyugo first started dating, he was never really sure what to do with you, or what you wanted him to do. he never really thought that he would ever have a girlfriend, much less somebody as amazing as you who wanted to be by his side, so he wanted to make sure that he didn’t mess up and do something wrong. it took a lot of reassurance and coaxing to get him to open up more to you.

✗ once he’s more comfortable, expect to be used as a human shield whenever anyone is teasing him, (uno and honey mainly).

✗ will try to impress you by saying he’s going to set a new escape record, (he gets dragged back by hajime fifteen minutes later).

✗ since he doesn’t really have a lot of interests besides breaking out of jail, he will usually be doing whatever you like to do. you want to watch anime? jyugo’s right next to you, watching. you want to read manga? he’s helping you read some of the kanji.

✗ despite what you might think, jyugo is a very good singer, (i.e. his character song) and will sometimes hum a tune if you ask him to, (warning: he will be very flustered and embarrassed).

✗ if you can’t sleep, he’ll sneak the two of you out onto the balcony to look at the stars. he doesn’t really know anything about astrology, but watching your face be lit up by the light from the sky was enough for him to want to be there with you forever.

✗ will break the two of you out to walk around to get some actual sleep in the guardroom, even though the two of you will get chewed out by hajime the next day. he likes to be able to cuddle with you without the constant noises from the others.

✗ he will protect you with his life. a constant fear of his is that he won’t be strong enough to save you, and that you’ll get taken away by elf along with the rest of the people important to him. during the building five arc, he was consistently holding onto you, making sure that you were alright.

✗ cuddles are usually his arms loosely wrapped around you, with him as the big spoon. he just wants to make sure that you’re safe, and having you in his arms makes him feel reassured of that. on days when he’s not feeling the best, his head will be buried in your chest, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist.

✗ he doesn’t really care either way about pda, so it’ll probably just be whatever makes you comfortable, but if you kiss him in public, he will get very flustered, and may malfunction. hand-holding is a must for him; he loves the feeling of your fingers laced together with his, it makes him feel like you genuinely care about him. expect a lot of headpats as well, especially if you did something impressive.

✗ before the new year’s tournament, he was scared about what you would think of him if you ever found out about his shackles. he figured that once everybody found out, it would be over for him, and everyone would leave him. this is why it came as a surprise when he came back to cell 13 and was actually accepted. the fact that you stayed with him and still loved him after finding out about his shackles made him burst into tears again, (he was teased mercilessly about it later by uno, rock and nico).

✗ “i’m sorry i’m such an idiot...i don’t really know how to be a good boyfriend, but i’m going to try my best.”

liang:

✗ you will never get anywhere with him by trying to drop subtle hints about something. if you want something from him, you’re going to have to be very straightforward with it. 

✗ because he was never exposed to the opposite gender, he doesn’t really know how to act. does training count as a date? how is he supposed to hug someone? should he invite you to play mahjong in the gameroom?

✗ after a couple weeks, he will slowly start to understand how to act on his emotions, so expect to be brought to the courtyard so he can show off his new skills. will literally worship you if you compliment any of his moves. 

✗ will protect you no matter what’s happening. if he couldn’t fight to save somebody important to him, what kind of martial artist would he be? 

✗ his awkwardness with you is quite endearing sometimes, especially if he’s trying to give you a gift or ask for affection, (don’t tease him for it, he will get embarrassed and avoid you for the rest of the week). 

✗ “um, i asked rock to have the building 13 chef make this for you, so take it. okay bye.” doesn’t know what he’s supposed to do, please be patient with him. 

✗ when you first ask to sleep with him, he doesn’t understand at all. once you explain to him, he’ll be nervous, but if it’s something that’ll make you happy, he’s willing to do it. after a while, he can definitely understand why you like it, and will be trying to think of ways to ask you for a hug or cuddles without seeming weird. 

✗ he grew up being taught that women are the weaker gender, and that they need to be protected since they are inferior, so if you’re a really feisty person, he will definitely be surprised. it will probably take him a bit to understand that women can be strong as well, but once he overcomes his past teachings, he will be your number one fanboy. extra points for you if you can fight really well.

✗ if you’re not good at fighting and aren’t really active, he will take it upon himself to be your personal trainer. he wants you to be able to defend yourself if he’s not around, which is why he will push you hard to try and be stronger, especially after the events of the building five arc. he just wants you to be safe <3

✗ the type of couple where you are holding down his feet while he’s doing sit-ups, and give him a kiss when he gets to the top, (this only happens when the two of you are alone, or nobody is looking. either way, he will be extremely flustered.)

✗ he isn’t really one for pda, and prefers to keep it when the two of you are alone, but will hold your hand and give you headpats instead, (and maybe a kiss on your head if he’s feeling bold). 

 ✗ his cuddles are kind of awkward at first since he’s not sure where he should put his hands or what you were comfortable with. once you teach him, he will always have to have his arms around you in some way, and you will not be getting out of his grip anytime soon. his cuddles are great though, they feel very protective. 10/10.

✗ will ask samon for dating advice

upa:

✗ it will take him a while to even give you a hug. he’s so used to being closed up and on guard that it probably take a while for him to open up to you, and even when he is, he will be a huge flustered mess.

✗ he’ll probably get teased a lot by qi about his relationship, and you’ll also get asked a lot of questions about upa from qi. in all honesty though, he’s just happy that upa found somebody who makes him happy; he definitely deserved it.

✗ this is a bit of pattern with everyone, but upa will definitely protect you. it doesn’t really matter to him if you’re excellent at fighting or not; he knows that even the strongest people can be taken down when their weaknesses are targeted.

✗ he’ll always tell you that you’re annoying him, but don’t believe him. he just says that because he’s flustered and he doesn’t want you to see, especially since it’s incredibly easy to tell when he’s blushing because of his pale complexion.

✗ you’re the only person he will let directly touch his cactus. nobody else. nobody.

✗ will unconsciously be a lot more soft and less harsh with you, but if anybody points it out, he will immediately deny it.

✗ if you’re ever just watching him meditate and you lift up the talisman on his forehead to look at him, he will literally explode. you would probably be able to see the steam coming out from his ears. bonus points if you compliment him when you do this.

✗ is forever annoyed that you’re taller than him, (do not tell me that you’re very short so you’re shorter than him, boy is literally 135 cm at fifteen years old i-). he will float using qigong so that the two of you can be at the same height sometimes.

✗ pda is a huge no for him. he prefers to keep that sort of thing private, but cheek kisses are alright. even in private though, he will be super flustered with any sort of affection since he’s never really experienced it before.

✗ is definitely really awkward with cuddling at first, but he’ll get used to it after a while. upa is the type to hold your hand when the two of you are asleep, just so he knows that you’re there. his grip is really tight even when he’s asleep, so good luck getting up if you need anything.

✗ will tell you a lot of his secret thoughts since he trusts you a lot.

✗ “i wish i could go back and see my family…” “qi isn’t actually trash, but he’s selfish because he never thinks about how everyone else would feel if he died.”

✗ there are times when upa will genuinely try to give you a compliment, but then sometimes he will be the smoothest mf you have ever seen without him even realising what he’s doing.

✗ you’ll probably find out by accident about the scar he has on his stomach. he won’t tell you exactly what happened, but it’s pretty obvious that he doesn’t really like the way it looks. when you say you don’t mind, he doesn’t show it, but he’s extremely relieved. even though he knows you’re the type of person to not judge about that sort of thing, he couldn’t help but wonder…

✗ he would never admit it out loud, but he loves it when you trace around the marks on his cheeks.

✗ in conclusion, upa is a flustered boy™

uno: 

✗ is your biggest supporter and will show you off to all of his friends, especially honey.

✗ will be very clingy, but also will respect your boundaries. if you’re not in the mood for a hug, just tell him and he will back off, (he’ll probably ask you if anything is wrong). 

✗ is very sensitive to your emotions, and will immediately notice if anything if wrong with you, even if you are a master liar. remember, uno is extremely perceptive in canon, so he probably knows all your habits and tells for when you’re lying. he won’t force you to tell him, but will remind you that he’s there if you ever need to talk about anything. 

✗ he doesn’t really know how to fight, but he can definitely throw a solid punch, so he’ll try his best to protect you. 

✗ will talk to you for hours on end about everything he loves about you, and will definitely tease you if you get flustered by it. 

✗ is the type that will order for you at a restaurant if you’re feeling anxious, although he will sometimes make you do it, since he also wants to push you to get over your fears. will take you away from a large group if you’re starting to panic, and will help calm you down. overall, he is very protective of you, and wants to make sure that you are comfortable. 

✗ he’s also great with an extroverted s/o, since he is a fellow extrovert. the two of you will loudly joke around and gang up on honey in the gameroom, challenging him to a game of darts. you’ll also probably pull pranks on jyugo, rock and nico a lot, and get chased around by hajime whenever you escape. 

✗ almost all of your dates will probably be in his game room. he’ll challenge you to any games there are, and he’ll teach you all his tips and tricks that he uses when he’s gambling. Sometimes though, he’ll ask jyugo to let you guys out so you can go to the balcony and hang out for some alone time. uno loves being with his friends, but sometimes he just wants to be alone with you <3

✗ he is all about pda, but only if you’re comfortable with it. he doesn’t really care if anybody else teases the two of you for it, because have you seen my girlfriend? she’s the hottest girl on the planet!! will sometimes kiss the top of your hand just to make you flustered, but will mostly go for kisses on your temple. 

✗ basically, he will just give you a lot of kisses everywhere. fingertip kisses, cheek kisses, temple kisses, all of them!!

✗ will sometimes place his hat on you because he thinks you look cute with it on <3

✗ after he won hyakunin isshu: “(y/n), i was definitely handsome out there, right? more handsome than those other guys, right?” please give him your affirmation, you will wound him if you say no. 

✗ will give the best cuddles ever!! he’s a very affectionate person by nature, so expect to have him next to you the entire night whenever you guys are sleeping, especially during the winter, and especially if you get cold. uno will be your personal heater. 

✗ he’ll let you brush out his hair and braid it in the morning; he finds the feeling very soothing. If you have longer hair, expect for him to braid your hair so that you guys can match. 

✗ he would never let anybody else except you use his face masks. skincare is very important to him, so he wants to make sure that your skin is nice too, (especially if you’re insecure about it).

musashi: 

✗ musashi will be your personal heater when it’s cold outside. 

✗ hitoshi is so excited about you; you’re just so cute!! your relationship’s number one fan <3  “you and musashi-kun look so cute together!!” 

✗ hitoshi will probably make matching bento boxes for you and musashi to eat together. 

✗ when you guys first started dating after the new year’s tournament, he was so scared to touch you, even though he knew that he physically could not ignite. he couldn’t help but fear that there was a chance that he would hurt you; that maybe the chip would malfunction. he even personally talked to okino and kazari and made them give him an absolute confirmation that he would not be able to create any fire. even then, it took a while for him to feel safer when touching you </3

✗ if you ask, sometimes he’ll tell you about his favorite things he learned about when he was in university, (he gets super into it whenever he talks about it, so get prepared for an entire lecture).

✗ you’re the first person he’s yelling for when there’s a frog, and if you’re both afraid of frogs, then you’re both panicking and spamming the emergency button. you both get an exasperated scolding from kenshirou about the use of the emergency button. 

✗ because he can’t see, he’ll be touching your face a lot, just to feel you and possibly invision how you look, so don’t freak out if he suddenly just reaches out and brushes his fingers against your facial features. 

✗ when musashi was still in the underground cell, you asked kenshirou if you could share a cell with him. he said no, but allowed you to instead be able to visit him under supervision from himself or a guard. you didn’t really like that there was going to be someone watching 24/7, but there wasn’t really much you could do about it. 

✗ the way he looks down at you with a small smile while patting your head is very therapeutic. any sadness is instantly cured.

✗ musashi is a pretty chill person in general, so he doesn’t really feel a need to show a ton of pda, although he doesn’t mind if you’re more into it. i wouldn’t say that he really gets jealous either; he trusts that you won’t do anything that would make him question you, so he doesn’t really have a problem with you hanging out with everyone else. 

✗ however, if you’re getting on hit on by someone, ( ahem, trois and honey) he’ll probably be able to sense that you’re uncomfortable with their approaches and will take you somewhere else. if it happens a lot, he’ll probably just wrap his arm around your shoulder and make it obvious that you’re taken. 

✗ when you heard that musashi can handle his alcohol, you challenged him to a drinking contest. spoiler: you lost. it’s that german spirit, am i right? 

✗ like jyugo, he’s thinks about how someday elf might come after you. the thought scares him, especially since he doesn’t really have a way to protect you anymore since he can’t light up. nevertheless, he will be doing his best to try and keep elf from getting his hands on you. 

✗ his cuddles are great, especially in the winter when it gets chilly. he’s always really warm, so he’ll definitely offer to hug you if you were cold. 

✗ he loves when you lightly trace the tattoo on the back of his shoulders. he thought it was a bit odd at first, but he grew to love the soft touches, (or basically just any touches) from you. 

✗ he thinks it’s hilarious when you get all flustered, especially since it’s evident in your voice when you are, so it’s easy for him to tell. 

✗ he’ll help you learn how to read in braille, since he wants you to be able to read some of the interesting books that he has, (i have no idea where the books come from, so let’s just assume that you can’t normally ask for books, yeah?)

Chapter Text

✗ pillow arms. 

✗ he loves to share all of his different favorite foods with you!! he’ll definitely be asking shiro if he can make extra food for you, to which he obliges. 

✗ bonus points for you if you know how to make any sort of ethnic food!! rock is willing to try literally any food you make, so don’t be scared to give him something you think he may not like. 

✗ can and will fight anybody who says your food doesn’t look appetizing/smells bad. he will throw hands. 

✗ if it’s your birthday, expect a ginormous cake to be waiting for you when you enter the cafeteria, courtesy of rock and shiro, (probably had multiple flavors because they are very extra). 

✗ as we know, rock has a pretty short temper if he feels like somebody is mocking him or is making fun of his friends, but he’ll back off fairly quickly if you tell him it isn’t worth it. 

✗ loves it when you run your fingers through his hair, especially if you’re styling it for him. 

✗ expect lots of back hugs from him, especially if he’s tired from training with yamato and the rest from building five. 

✗ his friends are really important to him, (especially nico since they’ve been together for a while) so if he sees you watching an anime with nico, or maybe having a small conversation with uno or jyugo, he will literally melt. 

✗ even though he gives off the whole “tough guy” persona, he’s a huge softie and is totally whipped for you. he’s always down to do anything that you want to, and is willing to try anything if it will make you happy, (even if he makes a complete fool of himself). 

✗ the type to embarrass himself in front of the entire prison if it was the make you laugh when you’re feeling down. 

✗ he couldn’t care less about pda or what other people think, so it doesn’t really matter to him if you give him a kiss if there’s other people around, (he’ll definitely get flustered though). if you do this though, you’ll probably be rewarded by dramatic gagging and disgusted noises from everyone else, (and also a victim of teasing for the rest of the day). 

✗ the two of you probably had your first kiss when uno got tired of seeing the two of you tip-toe around each other, so he just pushed rock onto you. 

✗ his arms are basically pillows, so expect for him to always have an arm under your head if you guys are cuddling. he’s also the type that will always be the big spoon, since he it makes him feel like you’re always with him <3 

✗ if he ever wakes up from a nightmare, he can probably just take a look at your face and be comforted, and then go back to sleep. if you wake up, he’ll insist it wasn’t a big deal, but he’ll tell you after a bit, mumbling about how he wants you to be able to see him as a man, (it’s okay rock, you’re still a man if you have nightmares). 

✗ will be consistently ruffling up your hair, even if you have a hairstyle in that took a while, (he’ll apologize and try to fix it). 

✗ you will melt whenever he takes kuu, probably because of how soft he looks. 

✗ is the type to trust his friends, so he won’t ever get jealous if you’re having a conversation with them or laughing with them. it’s a different story though if you’re being hit on, or you seem uncomfortable with the person you’re talking to. he’ll immediately step in, and will ask the person if they need anything, (will definitely put his arm around your shoulder as a way to show that you’re taken). 

✗ almost all of your dates will be in the cafeteria, eating some food that rock asked shiro to make. 

✗ he’ll give you a lot of cheek kisses and kisses on the top of your head. if you’re shorter than him and aren’t tall enough to give him a kiss, he’ll tease you about it a lot, and then will eventually lean down so you can reach. if you’re taller than 186 cm, he’ll be annoyed that he can’t give you surprise kisses, (he’s not mad that you’re tall though, tall people are hot). 

✗ he doesn’t really mind how his s/o looks. as long as they have a good heart and have a personality that compliments his, he’ll be super whipped for them.
