Work Text:
It was Wednesday, a special day for Changbin and Minho. Every Wednesday, or at least they try to, they go live on Vlive, knowing the fans were always looking forward to it. Everyone loved the relationship between the two bunnies, though it took everyone by surprise. It even took Changbin by surprise at first. He couldn't really believe that Minho grew feelings for him, the day the older one confessed. The members had already noticed Minho wasn't acting like his usual self, since he was afraid to confess to Changbin.
But when the dancer did, the rapper never rejected him, even though there were no same feelings at that time. After a few dates, Changbin knew that he wanted to be with Minho, so he kissed him, not at the dorm or company building, no during a live concert. That happened over a year ago
Though this Wednesday, Minho had told Changbin he would be a few minutes later, but the younger could start the live without him. This meant Changbin had to entertain their fans, who wanted to see the couple interact, until Minho came back. "I know. I thought Minho is a great boyfriend, but he stood us up." Changbin giggled, enjoying the occasional jokes, though everyone knew the rapper loved Minho as his boyfriend. "He didn't tell me why he would be late. I asked him, but he said it was a surprise." Changbin explained, looking at the door that got opened. It was Minho. Right on time as well.
"Ah, I got scared you forgot to come back." Changbin chuckled, though he immediately noticed Minho seemed to be nervous. He wasn't going to break up with him, right? "What's going on?" The younger man asked as the older appeared on everyone's screen. Even the fans were wondering what was happening. Something seemed different.
"I've been thinking about how I wanted to do this until I reminded myself that Wednesdays are always special for us." Minho said as Changbin looked at the older, a little confused about what his boyfriend wanted to do. "It's not a surprise to anyone that we love each other, a lot. I don't believe there's another couple out there who love each other as much as we do." Minho chuckled, looking at the comments as a few were already speculating what was going on. A lot of them were guessing right. "I found my soulmate when I met you and I don't ever want to let you go. So, Changbin, my baby, will you marry me?" The dancer asked, kneeling down as he showed the rapper a ring, an engagement ring.
Changbin looked at Minho in surprise, unsure if this was real life or not as it seemed like a dream. Of course, Minho already expected Changbin would stay quiet for a while, since it definitely took him by surprise. They never really talked about whether they wanted to get married or not. But ever since fans were wondering if their relationship was truly real, thinking they were just desperate to date, Minho knew he had to do something.
He even asked his parents for advice. And eventually, after talking to Changbin's sister, he knew he had to propose. Not because he wanted to prove a point to those who didn't believe in their relationship, but because he loved Changbin and wanted to spend his whole life with the younger.
"Bin... There's a lot of people waiting for answer." Minho chuckled, reading some of the comments yelling through the screen, wanting Changbin to say yes. "H-Hyung... You're crazy." "I'm crazy for you." Minho said as Changbin chuckled, shaking his head before he pressed a kiss against the older's lips. "I love you. Of course I want to marry you." The rapper said as the dancer smiled, although he expected this answer, it still took him by surprise. To make it official, Minho put the ring on Changbin's finger. The younger man immediately showed everyone the ring while everyone freaked out over how beautiful it was.
"Right?! My boyfriend, I mean, my fiancé has great taste. Otherwise he wouldn't have asked me to marry him." Changbin chuckled as Minho rolled his eyes, regretting proposing a little bit. "Guys, we just got engaged. So, no, we don't know when the wedding will be." Minho chuckled as they answered a few more questions when the rest of the group barged inside.
Although they weren't happy Minho never told them he was going to propose, they were extremely excited for the two. "Guess we have something to celebrate!" Chan said as Changbin nodded, having to show Felix the ring since he wanted to know if Minho truly cared. "So when will the wedding be? I need to prepare my speech." Jisung said as Minho sighed, regretting not locking the door. He didn't want to deal with all of this, all he wanted was to spend time with Changbin. "You're speech will be long, won't it?" Hyunjin rolled his eyes as Jisung punched his arm.
"We're really excited for you, hyungs." Jeongin said as Changbin smiled, looking at Minho who let out a sigh, a content sigh. It made them both happy seeing their friends be so excited for them, it meant a lot to them. "Yeah, there's no better couple than the two of you." Seungmin smiled as Chan made them all leave, since he knew the engaged couple needed to finish their life and wanted to be alone.
"We're really sorry, but we have to cut this live short." Minho said, knowing Changbin didn't really want to though the younger understood why. And maybe he wanted to spend some time alone with the older as well, they never get enough time to make love to one another.
