Summary:

Freshly moved to the middle of nowhere Colorado after her parents' messy divorce, Sybil only wants one thing: everything to go back to normal. That's the last thing she gets. Instead, she discovers magic mirror in her attic, and realizes that magic is real. or, at least it was. Now, the only way she can get her family back is to awaken a millinea old secret. That's not the only thing that awakens. Sybil and her friends need to learn magic fast because whatever wiped out magic in the past is back, and it's coming for them. Now, Sybil, Aria, and Matt have to figure out how to use their magic or die trying.

     The sky is bathed in a crimson light as the early rays of sunlight wash out over the clouds. She takes a deep breath, feeling the sun's warmth on her skin. It breathes life into everything, from the smallest little earthworm to the towering oak trees. And, into her.

     She breathes out.

     She can feel herself breathing in tune with the universe. Power thrums just within her grasp. And today? Today she could have it.

     She breathes in.

     She can feel it as sure as she can feel her own breaths: the planets slowly getting into alignment. If everything goes according to plan, this will be the first day of a new life. The first day of a brand-new world.

     She breathes out.

     There is so much work to do.
