Baby Walter Goes On A Little Adventure

Summary:

Lately lot's of super powered children of Myth have been appearing all through out the Mythverse. It's strange that they all appeared in such a sort time from each other, but that's not what we will be exploring today. Today, we will be going through an anecdote from the life of the Walter Watson of Timeline: 1892. Although, I doubt he remembers this story himself.

He was only 3 after all.

Chapter 1: Baby Like Walking Very Much

Chapter Text

Timeline: 1892
Environment: Peaceful
Location: Hallowed Hollow

----------

A small child, no more than 3 years old, could be seen waddling through the forest.

The child wore a green onesie, and wore a mane of dark purple hair on his head. He had light blue eyes, with a tinge of purple. Curiously, he had pointed ears, like an elf, and a sharp fang like a vampire.

Walter wasn’t quite sure how he got there, he didn’t really care. He managed to get away from the watchful eyes of his two mothers, chose a direction to walk, and he was here.

He was quite the adventurous spirit, although he never knew where he was going. Again, he didn’t care, but wherever he was going, he would get there. Such was the toddler’s mindset, like all toddlers, he was full of energy, ready to go somewhere at any time.

He would go somewhere. Somewhere nice, hopefully.

He came across a cave.

The cave opening was large, or was he small? Either way, it’s gaping mouth towered over the small child. However, he was not afraid. He was never afraid. Whether he was very brave or just oblivious, no one could really tell, including himself.

The curious child’s attention was caught by something shining at the end of the cave. With a little gait he got closer, the shine turned to a yellow light, which illuminated both the walls of the cave and the eyes of the child.

Walter’s eyes began to glow a bright blue. He was not sure why, but he felt attracted to the light.

It was like it was beckoning to him.

Fearless and without the common sense needed to stay away from mysterious lights that beckon to your very being, Walter walked into the light. It enveloped him, it was a warm but cold feeling. Gently washing over him like soft rain yet somehow feeling like a waterfall crashing down.

Timeline: 2243
Environment: Fantasy
Location: Starchild’s Blessing

----------

He emerged from the blinding light, after taking a few moments to let his baby eyes adjust, he found himself in a town somewhere. He couldn’t tell which part of town it was, not that he cared. What he could tell was that it was different from anything he’d seen before. Everything there seemed to have a soft glow to it. The lights, the buildings, the food, even the people glowed with colors of all kinds. It was like a wonderland.

Gaping at the new environment he found himself in, Walter began walking in a random direction. Somehow, despite the area being densely populated, nobody noticed the lone toddler moving through the crowd.

He walked for what felt like forever, or was it just a couple minutes? His little baby brain couldn’t tell. Either way, after exploring, admiring the new place, he eventually started to feel a little sleepy. He found some yellow, scratchy feeling stuff on some strange sort of house on wheels. It was uncomfortable, but it would have to do. This was Walter’s last thought before he fell into a deep, deep sleep.

He never noticed that the “house” started moving.
