Work Text:
Did I love you?
Kuroo Tetsuro…
Although the pretty look of him makes people think he is a fuckboy or a cheater or something, in reality, he is a nerd who is heavily addicted to biochemistry major. After High school, he’s got a full scholarship of four years in university, right in his favourite major in New York University.
Kenma didn’t expect the wind to get his love that early… He wants to confess. He can say it, but god, little kitty doesn’t want his “soulmate” to puzzle..
“I just wanna make you feel ok…”
Kenma’s too scared to tell him, he tried to express it, and Kuroo just ignore his efforts, neglected Kenma. Kuroo has been with him way too long, he’s delicate enough to understand it. But he didn’t choose him. Not everyone wants to date his best friend, especially when they are gay.
“But all you do is look another way”
I can’t say it. I can’t tell you how much I love you.
“I can't tell you how much I wish I didn't wanna stay”
I can just wish, just want you were gay…
“I just kinda wish you were gay”
Kenma never contacts with him a again, with a person who will never ever loves him…
--------------
He came back to his hometown after 4 years successfully in university and 2 years experience in a big hospital, a talented doctor and a pretty person. Of course, right after he transfer to Tokyo police station, he’s got a lot of female colleagues around his work table simping for him.
Although running right after seeing his first patient at his first day at work doesn’t seem professional, he really ran.
Kuroo didn’t prepare his first patient would be him…
(He goggleeyed, looked at him angrily, the soulless pupils hidden behind the blood-stained hair. For some reason, Kuroo feels like his little patient wants to smash him up, like he’s regretting his choice 6 years ago. Damn it, he sure made Kuroo scared.)
Kozume Kenma, 24 years old, died because ribs number 5 and 6 broken, plugged into the lungs, traumatic brain injury, 5 cm diameter open wound on left flank causing blood loss.
Although the car crash ripped one side of his abdomen, the half-ink mark still appeared on his white skin. Damn it, he got his love's name tattooed on his body. He's crazy, yeah, he's crazy because of him.
He leaves. He left before he could say anything to him.
And from fear to pity, what will he do, love him? How can there be such a good thing?
