Work Text:
Poppy Pomfrey will never forget the moment she lost her brother.
At 11 years old she had already experienced an amount of loss that no one that age should have had to go through.
Her and her brother Charlie had grown up without parents. Charlie had always said he remembered when Aunt Carolyn had picked them up from muggle school, the day their mother had gotten into the accident. Poppy, who was only 5 at the time, could only recall the salty taste of tears in her mouth, and 10 year old Charlie’s body shaking with silent cries as he tried to stay strong for Poppy.
