Chapter Text
“HOGAN!”
Two people. Two scenes. Two countries. Two wars.
In this case, the same war, just war two.
As their names are called, two people stand—one, a woman in an Army uniform, pristine despite the conditions, no hair out of place. The other, a man in an Air Force uniform and leather bomber jacket, relaxed but maintaining a commanding air.
One is in New York City, at a base no one knows about. She is working on a top-secret experiment, an attempt to turn the tide of the war. The other is in a prison camp in Germany, doing his own work to change the way the war is going.
They are too different and yet too similar at the same time. When together, their differences grow prominent, a rift growing between them. When apart, their similarities begin to come back out again.
Both are involved in intelligence. Both have grown some level of fame in such a world. Both are willing to do anything, no matter the cost, to save the world from Hitler’s horrifying Plan and Shmidt’s Hydra ideals.
But you know what they say—like father, like daughter.
