Sometimes Joe And Nicky Does Really Crazy Things:

Summary:

Nile is on her first plane ride with Joe and Nicky.

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

The pilot: “I can’t land. Too strong a wind.”

Nicky: “Then fly over that river here.”

Nicky pointed at the map before waking Joe and Nile up.

Joe: “Hey you.”

Nicky: “Remember Donau back in ’38?”

Joe: “Of course I do. Are we really doing that again?”

Nicky: “It is either that or fly back and walk 250 miles.”

Nile: “What happened in ’38?”

Joe: “Plane problems and we had to jump out over the Donau.”

It has started to dawn on Nile, what they are talking about.

Nile: “Wait what.”

Nicky: “Love you!”

Joe: “Love you too!”

Nicky kissed Joe before picking up his long sword, rifle and backpack. Then he opened the plane's side door.

Nicky: “At least it isn’t dark this time or any angry Nazis down on the ground. See you all down there.”

Nicky Jumped out of the plan after giving Joe a smile.

Nile shouting and in a bit of panic: “He is completely mad. He jumped without a parachute.”

Joe laughing: “My kind of man but you decide what you want. Either walk 250 miles or jump."  He picked up his scimitar, rifle, and backpack. "Remember to aim for the water if you jump.”

Joe then does the same thing as Nicky did, leaving Nile behind on the plane to consider her options. On the ground, Nicky found Joe and pulled him in for a hug and a kiss.

Nicky: “Do you think, she jumped?”

Joe: “We better walk upstream because the plane flew that way.”

Joe pointed to his right and they walked for the better of an hour before they finally find an angry wet Nile.

Nile: “You two are completely mad.”

Joe with a smirk: “She has first realized that now.”

Nicky: “At least you didn’t encounter any angry Nazis, who wanted to shoot you for interrupting a top-secret military exercise.”
