[<When Cale returned from Kim Rok Soo's body>]
Cale knew just by looking at Alberu that he was in love...'Goddammit. Of all the people it just had to be him, didn't it... When did it even start? When he found out about Raon' Cale had started to think on a daily basis. Cale got tired out of the slightest of interactions with him, even noticing small details about him. As Kim Rok Soo, he had avoided all types of romantic affection towards anyone until he had met until Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jung Soo who had truly been elder brother figures to him. After they passed away he observed different types of relationships though never being a part of them deeply. He knew how his colleague Kim Min Ah looked like when she was with her husband. It was a very warm gaze which made him sitting in the same room feel very uncomfortable. He realized it quite early on that his feelings towards his 'fun to annoy' hyung had changed from platonic affection to a more different one.... As Cale even though he had been the object of different types of emotions he could only think them as trivial. Except he still indulged in those feelings and fuelling them, of course without realizing it. This was why this form of affection was quite new to him, especially if the person in question was male. He kept such feelings to himself since he knew that they would be a burden to his busy hyung.

Alberu wasn't the type to trust people easily but when it came to this crazy bastard he trusted him quite easily. At first he had thought that it was because he was similar to him, later he found out that he actually enjoyed his presence and liked the thought of his obsessive wishes of his slacker life. It made him chuckle out loud. Recently when he had a random thought of Cale being engaged to Rosalyn, he had felt something he had never felt before. It felt akin to...jealousy. He had snickered in disbelief that he had fallen for the crazy bastard of a donsaeng. The crazy bastard that drove him nuts was currently playing on his mind, and nor allowing him to sleep...
'Ah fuck it all..'
They both ran a hand down their face and snickered at themselves for falling for each other. They were so sure that they didn't need that love from anyone, yet they needed it from none other than each other.

When Cale had used Instance he thought about many things including the fact that he should have confessed to Alberu when he had the time. He was going to die, that was too bad. His first love and he didn't even get to say goodbye.
[<Fixing Cale's Plate>]
Cale was explaining his plans on how to deal with White Star and the monsters while Alberu was going mad with worry about that crazy bastard...'I could have tried confessing earlier. At least before he ended up like that.... Crazy bastard, I swear. Never should have fallen for him...'
[<After the Final Battle>]
Cale had already had thought a couple of times during the time Mila had been fixing his plate that it would be nice to confess quickly and get it over with, so he asked Raon "Connect the video to the crown prince" Raon being his normally excited self replied with a happy yes but added a little something. " Human you look like when you are going to drink lemon tea." Cale naturally ignored him but was as Raon mentioned very nervous. Just the thought of confessing to his hyung meant he wanted....you know.
Alberu was relieved seeing that Cale was contacting him since, he was planning to do the same but couldn't find the time to. He picked it up expecting his normally snarky and glib-tounged donsaeng but instead was shocked to see the nervous expression on his face. Cale began "how radiant the sun of the empire is" It hadn't been in his usual tone. This one had been more nervous or....scared? "I hope to make a private appointment with you... When can I hope to meet?" 'And his tone was formal. That bastard never talks in a formal tone. Something feels wrong about this...I was going to confess but what is this? An appointment? He never wants to meet me. Is it.. no that would just be my wishful thinking.' He sighed,"what are you scheming now, you crazy bastard?" Cale smirked. 'As expected of his smart hyung.' As if his initial nervousness had all been a dream he spoke with a gentle smile"Nothing, nothing at all, your majesty...If you're not going to give me some time I can arrive at the palace tommorow at night I hope that is fine for you?"
-Human! You are smiling like that again
Alberu felt chills on his back seeing Cale smile "Do whatever you want... But don't smile like that..."
"Of course, your majesty"
Cale was in a good mood after the call, while Alberu who was having a terrible feeling about this 'appointment' of his.
