Chapter Text
Long long ago, at the beginning of the world, 6 gems were formed upon the world's creation. These gems represent the very being of this universe. Containing power no one could ever control.
This world was one full of magic and abnormalities, thanks to the gems. One could get special abilities, be it human or not.
The gems themselves are the core of this magically curious world. As they are the power that keeps this world standing, without them the world will cease to exist, or at the very least, lose its life. These ancient artefacts don’t just keep the world balanced, they also keep each other balanced. If the six were to be incomplete, then the world will be put off balance, and it can prove disastrous for everyone.
And that is exactly the problem, kind of.
The 6 Gems (summary)
The first gem we discovered is the Memory Gem . Shaped like an eight-pointed star made of seemingly gold, this gem represents both dreams and nightmares. This gem will cause anyone near it to feel tranquillity, or terror, depending on its mood. When the night comes, this specific gem will be empowered. Since most creatures sleep at night, most dreams are played at night, and the more memories play the more powerful the gem is.
The second gem archived is the Water Gem . As the name suggests, this gem controls the waters, be it the ocean, lakes, or even small puddles. This gem’s form is similar to a drop of water, along with its iconic blue colour. To the eyes, it may seem to be wet, though actually touching it, says otherwise. The ocean, specifically, is its domain. Note, that it also gets stronger in the night with the help of the moon rising its tides. Though beautiful as it is, this gem is very protective of its domain, and it will drown anyone who dares to harm them.
Next, we have something that is the complete opposite of the one before, the Fire Gem . This gem is shaped like what a normal fire would look like if crystallized. With its fiery red magma colour, along with its warm aura, it is no wonder why people would often mistake it as a normal fire. Similar, to the water gem who is empowered by the moon, the fire gem finds power in the Sun at day. This gem inherits the personality of fire itself, mischievous and unpredictable to put it lightly; and at its worst, it can prove to be uncontrollable.
The fourth one is the Wind Gem . This gem has no absolute shape, just like the winds, it is ever-changing, meaning it can take up any form it desires. Though for most of its lifespan it has taken a liking to a leaf-like form. Just like its shape, its colour is also not absolute, but it has been infamous for its forest green colour. Because of its ever-changing form, this particular gem is very hard to study and observe. Some speculate the Wind Gem’s power is amplified in the forest or any place where trees and greenery are dense. Just like winds out there, the gem likes to travel from one place to the other(by letting the wind take them), and it can’t seem to stay in one place for too long
The last two, the most powerful ones, are the Light and Dark Gems . These two alone are more powerful than all the four previous gems combined. The Light Gem represents all the life and love from this world, while the dark gem represents all the death and destruction of this world.
Although they are complete opposites, they still cannot live without the other. In the beginning, they are always found together and never separated. But, as time goes on, they seem to drift apart for reasons still unknown to this day. The two gems, similar to the Wind Gem, has no shape, or at the very least its shape is undefined. This conclusion was made because our team has never found their physical form. Some say these two gems do not even have a physical form, that theory is yet to be proven wrong or right.
The two gems’ personalities clash like no other. While one is forgiving, the other is vengeful. While the Light Gem emits a peaceful aura, the Dark Gem emits a hostile aura. While one half brings life and joy, the other brings death and pain. Like we’ve stated before this is not a problem, so long as there is balance, enough Light and enough Dark.

With the methods of :
- Interviewing the people who have encountered/been influenced by them
- Reviewing the legends and stories told by the elders
- Studying the remains of ancient civilizations
- Studying the respective Gem’s magic in a closed space
- Reviewing the history of conflicts and what caused/ended them
We rarely see the gems out in the open. When they are out in the open, the gods are usually with them, guarding them. We have heard stories from others, about how they see a gem-like object in some of the god’s abode. However, it is still unclear if it’s the same gem in these documents. The Gods also tend to avoid questions about these gems. Fear of it being stolen, perhaps?
But then, we have another big predicament with this theory. How did the Gods come to be?
We have stated some theories on page xx, but without the Gods’ testimonies, they will remain as such.
The 6 Gods(summary)
The first and most common to be seen god(dess) is Lady Moonlight , the guardian of the Memory Gem. This particular legend usually stays at the City of Wizards(go to book xxx for more info) and spends most of the day sleeping. It is speculated that she visits the land of memories when she sleeps, although the Goddess herself has never admitted anything.
She is usually seen wearing a dark blue sleeveless gown with a lighter blue colour as its accents, and white frills on the edges of the pyjama-looking gown. She also wears a cone-shaped hat with an identical colour palette, and a translucent veil can be seen hanging off of the tip. A pair of light blue gloves that reach the elbows are also a part of the usual attire. Her eyes are a shade of lavender purple, though some people say that they emit a subtle, barely noticeable, glow in the night. While her skin is on the lighter spectrum of the graph. The most noticeable feature would probably be her hair, which seems to move on its own, even with no outside force. Her hair, which reaches the ground, has never been seen to grow or cut. It also has a gradient of black to blue, from the roots to the tip. The most abnormal thing is how it seems to have small stars glittered across them, and when touched it feels like some sort of cloud-like texture. As if it is a piece cut from the starry night sky.
The second god(dess) we have is The Sea Fairy , the guardian of the Water Gem. The guardian lives in the oceans, we have not found the exact location though. The goddess is rarely seen outside the oceans, making our knowledge of her limited. Some citizens that live near the beaches have also shared that they’ve witnessed Lady Moonlight and The Sea Fairy conversing in the middle of the sea (perhaps they are close?).
The fairy’s look usually consists of a water(?) long dress, that magically folds in on itself, with a wave-crash-like edge. her eyes are a shade of light-sea blue, and her skin is as a sand like color. The godess also has straight hair that reaches the ground, and similarly to her dress is made of water(?), comparable to a waterfall. The peculiar thing is, the hair seems to be flowing infinitely, with no clear source, and it never seems to be overflowing either. On her hair is some sort of shell with pearls at its side.
The next is The Fire Spirit, the guardian of the fire gem. This particular god seems to have no qualms interacting with mortals and does so quite often. He is most usually found roaming around Dragon Valley(go to book xxx for more info) and judging from his interactions with the dragons, it is speculated that he is on some “friendly” terms with the beasts. Even though the spirit is mostly seen in the Valley, he also visits some random places from time to time, a curious person we think.
He is commonly seen wearing a full volcanic black tight-fitted bodysuit, from neck to feet, with no sleeves and red coloured geometric looking lines all over. The suit is also accompanied by a black pauldron on his shoulders, and a two coloured cape, black outside and yellow inside. The spirit's eye color are dark red, resembling fire embers. His skin has a colour of reddish-orange, we do not know if it is due to the heat he emits, or perhaps it is his natural skin colour. His hair is, in a lack of better words, seems to made of literal fire, though it doesn’t seem to burn, according to one of our researchers.
The fourth is The Wind Archer , guardian of the Wind Gem. The archer is a very enigmatic figure, preferring to live in isolation rather than interacting with humans. Compared to the other gods, the Wind Archer is a quite recent discovery, the only reason we discovered him was nothing short of an accident. Though, at this time and age, anyone can find him if they go in the Millennial Forest(go to book xxx for more info) deep enough.
His appearance is well suited for his endeavours in the forest. A long leaf-life scarf is usually wrapped around his neck. His costume consists of a simple light green tunic with darker green pants to go with it. His attire, we think, is made out of an all nature-based material, the most prominent being leaves. Wind Archer has a pair of pine green eyes. The marksman’s skin has a light green tint to it, though it is only noticeable if one pays attention enough, easily mistken as light beige. The Wind Gem can also be seen embedded in his forehead. This is the only instance where a guardian is always carrying the gem. The other gods don’t tend to bring their gems out in the open. His hair seems to made of leaves in a fringed up style, and it always seem to be billowing in a breeze.
The legends and gods seem to have a thing for abnormal hair
The last one we have seen so far is The Dark Enchantress , the guardian of the Dark Gem. this statement is more of a theory than fact, though. The reason we’ve come to this conclusion in the first place is because of the identical magic signature. The Enchantress is a force to be reckoned with, with powers only rivalled by that of the Light Gem’s. She is by far the hardest to catch sight of, her nature and reputation further discouraged us to conduct up-close observations/interviews, but more importantly even if we are daring enough to approach the magic user, we do not know where in the five continents she resides.
Based on our limited knowledge, The Dark Enchantress is usually seen wearing a half red, half black body-con long dress. She has also been seen adorning a pair of elbow-lengthed gloves, one red and one black. A headpiece that resembles two black horns atop her head; with, what we think, some of her white hair sticking out. On her shoulders, there is a pair of solid-black pauldrons, a cape can be seen behind her, black outside and red on the inside.
We have acknowledged the missing guardian of the Light Gem. We are sorry to inform that we have not documented the light guardian. Legends have mentioned a character the opposite of the Dark Enchantress, but thus far no actual sightings have been reported. The other guardians do not answer our questionings, so for now we will not archive anything.
