Sounds of light scratching echo off the hull of the ship as the two occupants survey the area.
"Stop scratching." An audible sound of frustration comes from the other.
"I know but it's a force of habit by now." She grumbles as her hands dash into her pockets.
"Even so, you know it's bad for you. We were doing so well, are you stressed?" He scans the overlay as he eyes her. She sighs.
"I guess. Can you blame me? We've been at this for so long that I think it's getting to me." She's looking out the windows at the vastness of space, admiring the beauty of the cosmos. The shades of purple and orange looked magnificent as they bounced off the blackness of the abyss. A gentle hand reaches into one of her pockets, pulling out her hand and littering soft kisses into her palm.
"Just a little bit more, honey. We'll be back home before you know it." His grin is contagious. She can't help but smile back.
"Funny, I thought I was already home." She chuckles as their foreheads touch.
Just a little bit more.
