Waterdeep: Visual References

This is going to be a small collection of drawings and other web-generated images or photos that will serve as visual references for the characters that show up in my writing for Waterdeep and the characters and NPCs from our campaign! I will include little captions with the images to describe who they are and where they came from, and any other context tidbits that come up.

Work Text:

This work is currently a WIP as I figure out how images and formatting them works here on AO3! Things will likely change and new images will be added over time.

Hi! I'm WK, and in addition to writing the works on my page I am primarily a 2D artist and illustrator. Writing fics and writing in general are still pretty new to me as a form of creative exploration. I felt the need to share some of the illustrations I have made of the characters my fics revolve around, primarily Jonas and V, so that people who read these stories have the option to see what the characters look like and aid that mental image as they read.

I'll have a section at the bottom with some extra art for fun, but I will try to keep the character references short and in order of importance!

*A NOTE FOR ARTWORK OF SCRIV:
Scriv's skintone varies quite dramatically between some of my illustrations! The appearances of many of V's personas were a mystery I and my party members had to work out in small increments through the course of our campaign, and every time I drew their personas it was more of a wild guess off some VERY limited descriptions of them from our DM than any kind of solid official description (with some very very bad perception rolls OTL). The drawings of Scriv with the darker skintone are some of the earliest ones I did before getting an accurate description of his appearance, which in canon is more of a medium-light tan. His complexion didn't weirdly change in our campaign, I just guessed off target before we met Scriv face-to-face in the game and got a much more accurate description.
