Note from the author: The ending of this story may not be exactly what you'd like it to be, as I can't guarantee that BakuDeku will be the endgame ship. I also don't know what other relationships, if any, will be incorporated into the story. Had to give a disclaimer, in case you need a story where the endgame ship is BakuDeku. As this is ongoing and I impulse-write, the changes and plotlines are decided as the story is being written.

Chapter 1: So, You're Pregnant.

Chapter Text

"Oh god. Oh god, did my quirk activate?" The lady spoke in a panicked voice while trying to pick up the papers on the floor.

Izuku cocked his head, "I don't feel any different, I'm alright."

"No, it's because it hasn't kicked in yet. Here, we have to get to a doctor, quickly," The lady spoke, grabbing the teen's arm. Izuku followed along, sympathizing with the deeply scared woman.

They arrived at the Doctor's office, and the woman brought them inside, walking up to the reception table, "I think this boy got hit by my quirk, I need an immediate appointment with any of your doctors."

"Mrs. Akushiba, we can't get an appointment for another half hour," The lady at the reception table spoke, "You'll just have to wait. I will try to diminish the interval, but there isn't much I can do."

"That's sooner than I expected, it's better than nothing. I'll wait here," She turned to the green-haired boy, "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. Here, sit down. Let me explain what my quirk does."

Izuku walked over to one of the seats in the lobby, the lady sitting down next to him. He watched her take a couple of deep breaths while looking at her lap with a somewhat guilty face. He waited patiently for her answer before she looked up at him again.

"For a living, I help gay couples and biologically same-sex couples in general, to have babies. My quirk is Pregnancy," She spoke, the last couple of words coming out with a small crack of her voice.

Izuku began to realize the seriousness of the situation, "What does that mean for me?"

She took the boy's hand in her own hands, sending a pitiful smile his way, "If I active my quirk on someone, it takes the person that they love, and impregnates them with their baby. So basically, whomever you love, whether it be one-sided or reciprocated, is the parent of the child that you now possibly carry."

Izuku sat there in shock, his voice being stolen away from him in astoundment.

"I am so, so sorry," The woman stood up, bowing and apologizing over and over again.

Izuku took a deep breath and stopped the woman from repeatedly bowing, "I'll get through this. It isn't your fault that your quirk activated when you ran into me."

The lady sat back down, and they talked the rest of the waiting period. The doctor came in from a door on the side of the lobby's walls, calling out, "Mrs. Akushiba?"

They both walked inside quickly and sat down on the seats in the doctor's assessment room.

"I have heard of the situation. Mr. Midoriya, I will need you to come with me to get some blood drawn real quick, and we'll test to find some clarity," The doctor spoke, and Izuku followed after being reassuredly patted on the shoulder by the woman.

Izuku walked back inside, a bandage around his elbow. He sat down next to the woman and explained, "They're running the tests right now. They said they're putting it first because they have no other tests that are as important as this one. They said it may take another half hour, though."

"Are you sure that you'll be okay?" The woman asked, "You're only sixteen. Are you sure you'll be ready if the tests come back positive?"

"I'm really not sure, to be honest," He spoke, smiling. The woman could see through him, however, seeing the sadness in his eyes of unprepared news. She took out a small notebook from her purse, grabbing a pen. She wrote a combination of numbers and dashes, writing her name above it.

"Hina Akushiba"
"XXX-XXXX-XXX"

She ripped the smidgen of paper off of the page, handing it to the boy, "If you can't talk to anybody else about this safely, come to me, and I'll be here to listen to you."

Izuku took the paper, folding it neatly and putting it in the pocket of his school's jacket, "Thank you."

"I honestly don't think I deserve any thanks right now," She spoke, frowning at her own mistake. Izuku became sad at the sight, and the entire wait was silent as they tapped their feet against the tile floor. Izuku attempted to think about things logically. Was he prepared for a kid? What if it hindered his chances of becoming a hero? If he decided to give birth to the kid, how would he take care of the baby on his own?

The doctor walked in, setting some papers down in his lap after sitting in a chair before the two, "So, you are pregnant."

Izuku let out a deep exhale, his face clearly showing that he was anxious.

"Now, with some unplanned pregnancies, people don't want to know who the other parent is. Do you want to know?"

Izuku thought about it, but to be honest, he already knew who it was, "Please tell me."

"Well, the other parent is Katsuki Bakugo. I'll let Mrs. Akushiba explain the rest of the pregnancy process to you, and you can decide what you want to do about the baby after that."

Izuku nodded, and the doctor guided them out of the room. They walked through the halls of the many doctor's offices, through the lobby, and then outside. They walked silently to the woman's car, and they both sat in the front seats.

"I'm required by the clinic to tell you how the pregnancy goes, even if you don't keep the baby," She took a deep breath before continuing, "My quirk speeds up the pregnancy process, so instead of the time period being nine months, it's five. The pregnancy changes usually aren't visible on biologically male people, making it a little easier to hide if you want to hide it from the other person. The pregnancies are usually quite painful, but the clinic worked on a drug to help with that. So, the most recent births have been successfully less painful. Is there anything else you want to know?"

Izuku sighed, "That's all the information I need."

"Where do you go to school, my boy?" Hina asked.

"UA. Why?" Izuku asked, a little confused.

"So I can drive you there. It is a Thursday after all," She spoke, and Izuku smiled at her before she started up her car.

"As I said, if you ever need someone to talk to about this, I am a phone call away," Hina spoke, her hands on the green-haired boy's shoulders, "I've gotta go, but I hope to see you again."

Izuku smiled, waving at her as she ran off to her car. He turned around and shifted his backpack around his back. He was terribly late, and Aizawa would probably kill him if he didn't have a good reason. So, he wrote a message on a piece of paper.

"I got hit by a quirk, I'm going to need to talk to you about it later during lunch break."

He wrote, tearing it off the notebook page. He stuffed the notebook back into his bag, opening the door of class 1-a.

Aizawa looked at him with a stern stare, "Where have you been?"

Izuku walked over to Aizawa's podium, placing the note there. The black-haired man picked it up and read it, understanding that Izuku wouldn't've been gone for an irrational reason. He looked back up and nodded at the boy, watching as he sat down at his desk.

Soon, the class went by, and lunch break came. After everyone else cleared out of the room, Izuku walked up to Aizawa and they journeyed to the Teachers' Lounge. Aizawa sat down and All Might looked up at the boy.

"What's going on, Young Midoriya?" All Might asked, and Izuku gestured for him to come over as well. After they were all sat down in their places, Izuku took a deep breath.

"So... I got hit by a pregnancy quirk," Izuku spoke, looking at his teachers' faces.

Aizawa wasn't expecting to hear that, his eyes widening a bit in surprise. All Might seemed to be thinking really hard about the situation, his fingers tapping his knees.

"Will this affect your training?" Aizawa asked, and Izuku thought about it before shaking his head.

"I don't think it will. At least not by a lot. Although, I'm going to have to be much more careful with what I do," Izuku spoke, and the two teachers nodded.

"It sounds like you've already decided to keep the baby," All Might spoke, and Izuku nodded.

"As someone who's considered getting pregnant by a pregnancy quirk in the future, I never really liked the thought of abortions. Of course, other people can get them if that's what they absolutely need, but as myself, I couldn't do it."

"Well, it is your choice to make. We'll make sure to assign you some easier training from now on," Aizawa spoke, leaving Izuku smiling. Anyone could see that he was fairly anxious about this, as most unprepared parents are. He would need to tell his mother at some point as well. Oh boy, that wouldn't be fun.

He walked out of the room, making his way to the cafeteria. Just before he got inside, he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. He grabbed it and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Midoriya. This is Hina Akushiba."

"Oh, hello! What's going on?"

"I forgot to tell you one thing earlier. If you're an anxious mother like I was during my pregnancy, you can put your hand on your stomach, and after a little while, you'll be able to hear the baby's heartbeat."

"That's really good to know," Izuku spoke into the phone.

"I have to go, I'll talk to you later!"

"Oh, okay! Bye!"

The phone call ended, and he stuffed his phone back into his pocket. He sighed, knowing that over the time of the pregnancy, he would need that.

"Oi, damn nerd."

Izuku's eyes widened at the loud voice he recognized as Bakugo's, "Yeah, Kacchan?"

"You're in the fuckin walkway. Move," Bakugo shoved the boy aside, and Izuku panicked. After Bakugo was away from his line of sight, he put his hand on his stomach and waited until he heard the heartbeat. After a little while, he heard it, making him release a tensely held breath.

It was going to be a long five months.
