(In Calgary)
Ghost was currently getting all his stuff ready for the convention. One of the first ever Kamen rider conventions held in Canada, and he was excited to go. He got all his chaser gear into the bag, from the Mach Driver to the Break gunner, and all the signal bikes he could buy, from Kaksarn, Tomarle, and Magarl. Ghost is happy that this is finally happening and is going to be apart of it. He walks by an empty alleyway but hears a faint voice calling out.
???: hello?
Ghost goes down the alleyway to see who said that, but sees no one around him. And than a bright light soon appears in front of him. He than heard the voice once more.
???: can you do what other heroes of this world can’t, can you do what is necessary to save the world from destruction?
Ghost slowly nods his head and is suddenly pulled into the portal, not even allowing him to grab onto anything before it disappears as soon as he is all the way through.
(In an alleyway)
Ghost groans as he gets up, soaking wet, with his bag still with him. He leans against the brick wall, as he tries to clear his head.
Ghost: Where the hell am I?
He steps out from the alleyway and sees, tall building, some with billboards promoting heroes and their merchandise. He gets a better look at the billboards and realizes he's in another universe. Ghost tries to think of where he is, but can't. He grabs his bag and goes to walk but sees a tarp covering something. He approaches the tarp and takes it off. He is surprised at what he sees. The Ride Chaser, the personal rider machine of Mashin and Kamen rider chaser. He sees the keys and it has his driver's license attached to it. He than feels something moving in his bag and opens it up. Out fly 8 small vehicles. They all fly around him before three stop in front of him. Rhino, Spider and Chaser. Ghost has a smile on his face
Ghost: So, your alive?
Rhino nods while Chaser makes his intentions know by flying around the bag. Ghost goes to the bag and picks up both the break gunner and the Mach driver honoh. He feels actual metal, not the plastic feel it used to have.
Ghost: Can I use this to transform?
Chaser beeps in confirmation or at least what Ghost think is confirmation. He puts them bag in the bag and sees a button on the backside of the ride chaser and presses it, opening a compartment and puts his bag inside of the it. He puts his driver's license in his wallet once again, while the viral cores and signal bikes and shift cars enter the compartment as well. Ghost starts the bike and puts on the helmet that was one the seat and drives out of the alleyway. He stops at a parking lot, and checks his bag, and sees some money in there. He knows that it won’t last him long and thinks about how to get a job.
Ghost: how would one like me get a job here? There must be some requirement for it. I might as well try my luck with low paying jobs.
Ghost tries for all of seven days at different jobs but each time is denied when he reveals he has no quirk. Ghost is then thrown out, another rejection due to him not having a quirk, even though it's just a simple desk job, telling him how they don't need a weakling looking out for them . Ghost just sits down by his bike, unhappy with the way he was treated just because he didn't have a "quirk", and pulled out the rest of his remaining money to count how much he has.
???: Are you alright?
Ghost looks to see who said that and sees a young girl about his age. Ghost looks away.
Ghost: What does it matter to you?
???: It matters because someone my age is sitting alone on a bike.
Ghost: Funny, but I have no where else to go, and this is a lot warmer than a wall.
???: You could join me and my family.
Ghost: You would ask a random person you saw from the street to follow you home?
???: Come on, I don't think your that bad, besides my parents will understand. Come on, it's raining hard anyway.
Ghost: Alright alright, I'm coming.
Ghost started his rider machine and she even got on, telling him where to go. They eventually made it to a large apartment building. They make it to her apartment.
???: Mom, Dad! I brought someone home.
Dad: Now honey who is this boy?
???: Oh yeah I never got your name.
Ghost: Umm, my name is James Rebenoke but you can call me Ghost.
???: I’m Maya and this is my family.
Ghost: Hello.
Maya: Mom, dad I know this is going to sound crazy but Ghost needs someplace to stay, he’s homeless and has nothing but his bike.
Mom: Sweetheart, you could have told us about this before you got home, we would have some agreement made if we knew this.
Ghost: I’m fine with finding some other place to sleep.
Dad: No, no no, your staying here, it’s storming out there and the last thing I need is you dying due to the cold.
Ghost than sits down in a chair while Maya’s parents discuss on where he will be sleeping. Maya soon sits next to him.
Ghost: Your parents are really accepting of me staying.
Maya just had a big smile on her face.
Maya: Told you they would understand.
(Two months later)
He was getting used to living with the Kiuki family, as they just accepted him as one of their own, taking him from the streets, and giving him a loving home. Maya and Ghost got closer as time went on, their growing feelings apparent to both parents. Ghost joined Maya at the middle school, before he and she would go pick a high school. While he had some catching up to do, he did it efficiently, and passed in his work on time, impressing the teachers and angering some students who believed he was just a dumb weakling. He realized his feelings for Maya after they all went to an amusement park. He decided then to ask her to be his girlfriend and she recuperated his feelings. They have been dating ever since but recently they have been harassed by two boys from some private academy, even asking her to be one of their girlfriends while standing next to Ghost. She rebuffed them telling how she already had one. They looked mad after that and left when both alone, not before punching Ghost in the stomach, leaving him heaving for air on the floor. Ghost decided not to report them, even though he would like to, he didn’t want to deal with them anymore than he had to. After a little while, when Ghost was coming back from checking his new place he picked out for himself. He saw the Kiuki's weren't home and tried to phone Maya. Her mother picked up her phone and told him that Maya is in the hospital. He saw her family and ran towards them.
Ghost: What happened?
Mrs.Kiuki: Maya was found, beaten and alone, she was raped.
Mrs.Kiuki broke down after that. Mr.Kiuki took her in his arms.
Ghost: do .. do they know who did it?
Mr.Kiuki: Yes, they have them now, the evidence is overwhelming, and we will bring justice to Maya.
Ghost was almost relieved at the piece of news but he soon looks inside of her room and saw that her face, was bruised, her arms and right leg were wrapped. Ghost blamed himself for not being there with her.
(Two weeks later)
It was time for the trial, I've the course of the week, the pieces of evidence that could put the two of them away were reviewed, and after 13 days, the lawyer of the two boys told the court how Maya could have been drinking and has recently been using pills, how she could have made all of this up in her head. A day after that the judge decided to let them go.
Judge: After reviewing the case file, I found no evidence of rape or assault, only consensual sexual activities.
Ghost and the rest of the family were shocked at such a blatant misuse of power. He looked over and saw the smirk the two boys had on their faces.
Ghost: Now wait just a minute!!!! There is enough evidence to put these two away and your just letting them go?!?
Judge: Mr.Rebenoke, I have found no evidence of their crimes in the files nor has any piece of evidence been given to me, these boys are innocent.
Ghost: No, you are not serving justice, you are serving injustice.
Judge: Bailiff, please escort mr.rebenoke out of the court, he will not be allowed to sit for the rest of the proceedings.
They came and took Ghost out of the court, and tried to get them off of him. He was than thrown out and the doors were locked not allowing him in. After an hour everyone came out. One of the boys stands next to him.
Boy: She should have taken my offer, I would have given her anything if she was mine. But now, how is going to live now that everyone thinks she's a whore.
Ghost got angry, and went to punch him but kept himself calm, not wanting to add anymore trouble to the Kiuki's. After the trial ended, Maya was acting more distant, she would barely eat, she now always looked tired, the happy smile and eyes were gone, Ghost tried to console her but she even refused that. Ghost was coming him from School when he saw multiple police cars surrounding the apartment building, he got close and what he saw broke him, and shattered his reality. There lay Maya, motionless, splayed out in the ground, he knew immediately that she had committed suicide from the top of her building. He saw Mr and Mrs.Kiuki and saw the disheartening sadness in their eyes. After a few days, her funeral was held, barely anyone came besides her family, and Ghost was there, with the signal bikes watching from a distance. When the funeral was finished, Ghost didn't even bother going back to the Apartment, as it now brings up to many bad memories and heads to his hideout he built from scratch, and while it didn't have much going for it, he could use it for his home. He laid down on his bed thinking about how all this happened because of those two boys, he got up and took the driver before setting it down, not willing to use it, and than picked up the break gunner. He put it inside his coat and went back to the graveyard to say his final words to Maya.
(At a graveyard)
Ghost kneels down in front of Maya's grave.
Ghost: Hey Maya, I know you can't hear me but this is the only way I could get these words out. I'm sorry for not being there enough to stop any of this, for failing to protect you. I now know what I have to do, to stop others from doing the same. I hope you can forgive me, cause I won't forgive myself. I love you Maya.
Ghost than pulls the break gunner out from his jacket. Ghost than pushes the front of the device.
Break Up!
Ghost than puts it up in the air, before bringing it down. Armour soon forms around him. He than yells in anguish at the transformation, while four cars drive all around him, his red eyes flashing, before walking away from Maya's grave.
Two days later
(At the house of the persecutor)
Fuki Drayu, was currently enjoying himself in his pool, relaxing, not noticing the red eyes watching him from a distance. The eyes soon disappeared, Fuki not even knowing what is about to happen. He than hears a shot before his float is starting to sink into the water, he helplessly fails his arms trying to get out of the tangled mess, but calms himself as starts swimming to the side of the pool. He grabs the edge and before he can pull himself up, his hand is grabbed and lifted out off the pool, before his neck is grabbed as well. Fuki tries to scream but the hand only squeezes harder on his throat before being slammed into the hard tiles, and has a foot slowly crushing his chest.
Mashin: Fuki Drayu, you were recently the lawyer for the two boys of two wealthy families, accused of raping a girl named Maya Kiuki. The evidence pointed towards their guilt but the evidence wasn't used and you also used Maya recent usage of pills to say that Maya could have imagined they raped her, when it shows that they were applied after being taken to the hospital, and lied about her drinking.
Mashin then steps hard on Fuji's right hand, crushing it and breaking all the fingers. Fuki has tears in his eyes.
Fuki: Please, please, stop this, the evidence didn't point-
He than stomps on the hand once again.
Mashin: Stop lying to me! You knew the boys were guilty, all of them! And yet you allowed them to walk away as if nothing happened to Maya! Tell me why, goddammit!
He starts to twist his foot on the hand.
Fuki: Ok! Ok, ok, I was told by the parents, to get them acquitted and to make it seem like Maya was a druggie, listen, I wasn't the only one manipulated by them.
Mashin: Tell me who else!
Fuki: It was the Judge, Judge Yokashi Toboya, he was bribed. Please let me go, I told you all I know.
Mashin than touches the side of his helmet, disassembling itself, revealing who he was to Fuki.
Fuki: James Rebenoke? James, please listen to me, I'm sorry alright, i'm-
He than is grabbed again and lifted up, over the pool.
Mashin: No, your not, not yet..
he than drops Fuki in the pool before activated the pool cover. Fuki sees this.
Fuki: Wait, wait, you can't leave me in here! I'll die!
Mashin: That's the idea, Mr. Drayu, you shall be the first to know the wrath of Mashin.
Fuki tries to climb but Mashin kicks him hard in the face, keeping him from the sides of the pool, Fuki couldn't even activate his quirk due to its uselessness is the water.
Fuki: James!! Please, don't leave me here!!! Please!!!!
The pool cover is soon over Fuki, who continues screaming, while Mashin walks away.
Half an hour later
(Inside one of the perpetrators house)
He was currently talking to the friend he had when he raped Maya, and how they could get away with anything as soon as they become pro heroes and he even made plans to go after another girl, knowing that his parents will do anything to help him cover it up. He than notices the light starts flickering before it goes completely out, scaring them both. He called out to his parents and heard nothing, he went to check on them and screamed when he saw them knocked out, he backed up slowly before bumping into someone, he was suddenly grabbed from behind and thrown across the room. He saw the red eyes staring at him, before it revealed itself to him.
Mashin: Hyato Juki, you were recently charged with the rape and assault of Maya Kiuki, and acquitted of the crime after the judge saw no evidence of the crime.
Hyato: If you know that much, than you know I'm innocent!
Hyato saw his friend sneaking up behind Mashin, activating his quirk. Hyato had a small unnoticeable smirk on his face.
Mashin: The evidence proved otherwise, you only got away with it because your family bribed the judge, and told the lawyer lies.
Mashin than grabbed the sneaking friends arm before slamming him to the ground, twisting his hand and than slamming his foot into the elbow of the arm, breaking it and bending it as well, causing the friend to scream before being knocked out.
Mashin: Tyu Gyuki, the other one accused with the rape of Maya.
Hyato: Please man, let me go, I swear, I won't do anything like that again.
Mashin gets rid of his helmet once more.
Hyato: You! Please, listen, I swear in my life I'll -
He is than punched in the face, breaking his nose.
Mashin: Oh don't worry, I know you will, in fact you won't be able to do anything, I'm not allowing you to walk the streets again!
Mashin than grabbed his weapon and shot both of Hyato's legs, before pressing the nozzle and punching him in the face, repeatedly. Hyato begged for his life, trying to get Mashin to stop, but Mashin only remembered what he had done. After the fifteenth hit, he stopped and picked up Hyato before slamming him through a small table, adding more injuries to Hyato. Mashin looked over the family and Tyu, before stomping on Tyu's leg as well and heard the door burst open, revealing guards, they aimed their weapons and some even activated their quirks. Mashin growled at them before a viral core went inside the break gunner.
Tune: Chaser Cobra!
Mashin arm is attached by a liquid metal before it forms a metal whip. Mashin uses the whip to attack from long distances, knocking some of the guns from their hands while he wrapped the whip around one of their necks and knocked them out, knowing they didn't deserve to die for this family. He the shot of the guns melting it to the guards hand, and than knocked out a quirk user and used his body as a flail, sending the remaining guards flying and knocking them out. Mashin looked all around him, and knows there is no going back from this and head out to get his last target.
(Inside a large house)
Yokashi Terui was the judge of the case of Maya kiuki, he looked over the headlines and smiled, knowing that as long as he took these bribes he could live a very comfortable life, able to do anything with his power and money. He drank his cup of sake and sat down in his chair. He felt drowsy all of a sudden before dropping his cup and falling asleep.
(An hour later)
Judge Yokashi is woken up by a hard slap to the face. He doesn't see who did and can't get up because he is tied down to a chair with a phone attached to something in front of him. He soon hears footsteps coming towards him, and sees two red eyes staring at him, causing him to sweat nervously. The light reveals Mashin, causing Yokashi to start screaming, but can't due to the tape around his mouth.
Mashin: Judge Yokashi, you were the judge in case not too long again that involved two young men and a young woman, who claimed they had raped her. All evidence pointed towards their guiltiness, but you acquitted them, on the basis that the woman had consented to them and no evidence of their wrong doing had been filed or committed.
He than grabbed one of Yokashi's fingers and starts bending it back slowly, causing him pain, and got rid of his helmet, cause Yokashi's eyes to widen in fear.
Mashin: I figured out that you are a family friend of all of the boys parents, and not only that, but you accepted bribes from them, and allowed those two to be let go. I'll let your finger go if you can remember my name.
He waits for Yokashi to say his name but smirks at the tape covering his mouth. After 20 seconds, He bends the finger back fully breaking it and causing Yokashi to scream into the tape. Mashin than points to the phone.
Mashin: In a few minutes all records of your bribery, your injustice shall be revealed, along with the families, based of the paper trail I followed but their sons will never be the same, nor will you. If you can't serve justice, judge, than I will.
Mashin than walks away petting Yokashi's head before opening a window and jumping out of it. Yokashi looks as the timer continues to count down, tears streaming down his face as he now knows what Mashin has done. Mashin gets on his motorcycle before driving away. He looks at the time and knows Yokashi has 10 seconds left. Yokashi sees this and tries to get out, but it reaches zero and with one last wail of despair, it explodes in his face, destroying his dining room and leaving nothing but pieces. Mashin hears the explosion before driving back to his hideout. He gets there and gets rid of his form before falling face first into his bed.
The next morning
Ghost flipped through the channels before stopping at the news. All of his targets were currently in custody and in the case for Yokashi and Fuki, body bags. He smiled when the newscaster mentioned how undeniable evidence of the Maya Kiuki case was given to them and every other newscaster, how the families paid off the judge, and how previous crimes were covered up. All three of the families have yet to make a comment about the evidence and the arrest of their children, but one things for sure is that all three are in critical condition, and will be charged.
Ghost: If this world will allow people like them to exist and persist, now it's time for someone to put a stop to it.
He sees the viral cores along with Signal Chaser and proto speed and his three signal bikes looking at him.
Ghost: Are you all willing to follow me, knowing what I am about to do?
The viral cores go all around him, with Chaser, Proto speed and the signal bikes beeping in acceptance. Ghost smiles at his partners.
Ghost: Than let us begin.
4 days later
Ghost was currently standing in line at a bank, knowing that it will be the next target for a group of villains, and is just biding his time. He smirks as the front door slammed open with multiple villains with guns come storming in, after they are all in, two of them seal the front door and block the windows as well. The lead soon come to front.
Lead: Everyone down on the ground now! Don't bother trying to activate your quirks, my men are a lot quicker on the trigger!
Ghost is able to sneak out of the back, after Rhino uses his horn to kill the villain standing near it. Ghost hides his body and gets out before being the break gunner out of his jacket. Ghost than presses the front of break gunner.
Break up!
Ghost than climbs up to a window, already broken and gets back in the back, this time above the villains. He takes a piece of building before dropping it, alerting the villains. They all look to see where that came from.
Leader: Alright, come on out now, Hero! Or we'll kill everyone in here, we are not afraid of the consequences!
One of them is all of sudden pulled up and they hear him scream before his body is thrown at another robber. Energy shots soon come from the ceiling, hitting 3 robbers in the head, killing them instantly. A fire user shots fire to the ceiling forcing Mashin to move. He then a jumps on the chandelier and shoots the support, allowing it to fall. The villains all dodge while the viral cores and signal bikes keep the glass away from the hostages.
Mashin: There's one problem, I'm no hero.
Mashin rushes to the closest villain to and grabs the guns barrel and breaks it off before kicking his leg, and than grabbing his neck and snapping it. He raises the break gunner and shots at another villain, taking his arm off. He than dodged the punch from one of them and then another before having them strike each other and than punches one in the stomach, and than knees him in the face, and grabbing the hand of one of them and flips him onto the one of the ground, and than fires into the one on top and kills them both when it goes right through them. He sees that their are only 5 left. Mashin than grabs one of the viral cores and puts it in the break gunner.
Tune: Chaser Spider!
Metal formed from his back and spread to his arm creating a spider like shield, he held it up and blocked the bullets fired at him, all of them falling harmlessly to the ground. He than ran forward, stabbing of the robbers with the front legs of the shield, before shooting the legs off another one. A rock man soon tries to crush him but Mashin uses his speed and size against it, before punching the face and stabbing the front of the legs into its throat, and slicing it. He is than shot in the back, forcing him to block it but a large gust of wind comes from the same villain nearly sends him flying but Cobra and Rhino distract him, allowing Mashin to fire at his head, killing him. A large piece of metal than hits him, sending him through a wall. He gets up and walks out and sees the leader using all the metal he could.
Leader: You think some hotshot is going to take me down, I escaped other heroes before, I'll escape you too.
He uses the metal around him to try and pierce Mashin. Mashin holds up the shield before dodging a big piece of metal, he than tries to shot at the leader but his shots are blocked by multiple pieces of metal. Mashin rushes forward. The leader sends every piece of metal but Ghost knocks most of it away, and goes for a punch, but misses and he is soon punched in the face, he counters with one to the stomach and than tries to kick him but he is instead grabbed and thrown to a wall. Ghost aims the break gunner at his feet and only grazes the foot. The leader than attaches metal to his arm and goes to punch Mashin once more. Mashin than grabs his arm and fired point blank into his shoulder, serving his entire arm before grabbing his face and punching it, breaking the nose and sending teeth flying out of the leaders mouth, and lets him go. He falls to his knees, trying to feel his now severed arm, and looking at Mashin with crazed eyes still, and broken smile.
Lead villain: Take me to prison then, hero, I'll get out, I always get out.
Ghost looks at him before his eyes flash.
Ghost: The only thing is, your not going to prison, you are never hurting anyone ever again!
Ghost than presses the breaker nozzle, with it powering up.
Execution!
Energy formed all along the front legs of the shield, and screamed with all his raged.
Mashin: AHHHHHHHHHH!
Mashin than slash's the shield forward, sending a wave of energy towards the lead villain.
Lead villain: AHHHHHH!!!!!!
He was sent flying.
(On the outside)
Pro-Heroes were currently trying to figure away inside without risking the hostages before they heard a crash and see the smoking dead body of the lead villain land of a police vehicle. The Heroes all rush to the entrance where they see all the bodies and Mashin Walking away.
Pro-Hero: Hey, did you do this?!
Mashin continues to walk away.
Mashin: Yes, I did.
Pro-hero: You can't do this, killing is against the law.
Mashin Stops to look at the naive hero, before shaking his head in disappointment.
Mashin: You heroes are far too soft and too focused on your image to do what is necessary to save this world, I'm doing what you all won't, killing the villains that have no chance of redemption, no matter what!
Mashin than turns off every light, allowing him to sneak out and get on his bike. He sped off altering the police to his presence but before anyone could see him, he was already too far. Mashin turned back and knew his calling had appeared to punish those that abuse the system, to do what heroes can't. He not stopping not now, not ever.
(So, tell me how you like it, also just to clarify, Mashin Chaser is the vigilante form while Kamen rider Chaser is his hero form, but he only goes by Mashin, and I'm adding the lupin Blade to Mashin's arsenal, too allow him to be more up close and personal, oh and tell me of any mistakes I have made in the chapter)
