Miku walked down the gymnasium hall, wearing a long red dress and nyans cap with the rest of the class, leaving what was a major part of nyans life behind. Nya had made it, and she was ready to tackle the adult world.
“Miku! Congratulations!” The now high school first year student Kaho cheered. She hopped in place as her hoodie bounced with her.
“Thyanks, Kaho-nyan!” The similarly energetic Miku replied. Nya wrapped nya left hand around the junior student. Kaho proceeded to give Miku a noogie on her head. Nyas head recoiled a bit, but was still happy and radiant as always. Kaho had also been radiant, seeing her best friend for years pass a very important milestone made her heart beat as fast as when the heroes of justice that she admired defeated another monster. School may just be like a monster, but that was only in the curriculum.
“Oi! Little Kitty! When are ya gonna come to the party?” One of Miku’s classmates called.
“Nya! I’m talking with my buddy right nyaow, I’ll be there in a bit!” Nya answered. Nya looked back into Kaho’s sparkling eyes, seeing the happy innocence in her eyes.
“I’m gonna be so proud of you when you graduate, Kaho-nyan.” Nya whispered to her.
Kaho had stood there, proud of her idol friend, but slightly stuttering at her feet. “I love you...r cap! The cat ears are so fluffy!”
“Nyaaw…”
