Luz yelped as the decapitated cyberman head crashed at her feet. Whatever threat the metal monstrosity was about to make was cut off as the light in its hollow eyes died out and Luz let out a sigh of relief.
“You know, Blight, you’ve been a lot more… aggressive since you regenerated.”
“Is that a bad thing?” Amity asked.
Luz looked up at her girlfriend. She stood panting over the fallen body of a decapitated cyberman, the remnants of a snarl gracing her otherwise elegant features as she clutched Luz’s metal bat. Hours of running and fighting had worked up a sweat, smudging her heavy eyeliner and highlighting the toned muscles of her arms spectacularly as it reflected the bright gleam of the overhead lights. Several strands of hair were matted to her face, and her already unruly mane had become a wild, violently untamed crown of jade.
“No…” Luz said as her face heated up, “No it is not.”
