“I’ll never let you fall,” Starscream had promised once.
Skyfire kept that in mind as he watched his once-lover disappear over the horizon. He shut off his sensors as he plummeted to the ground, wings still smoking from null-ray damage. Starscream would come back, he told himself. He would realize what he had done and come back.
