Marc takes a deep breath, glancing at Nathaniel, a blush tinting his cheeks.
It’s now or never He thought to himself.
The school dance is in two weeks, who knows if Nathaniel’s already been asked out? Who wouldn’t want to go out with him?
“Nathaniel!” Marc speaks up suddenly, maybe a bit too loudly, “Nathaniel,” He continues, lowering his voice, “Will you- Will you go-to-the-dance-with-me?!” He asks, rushing through his words.
Nathaniel’s face turns a bright red, making him look even more like a tomato.
“Y-Yes! I will!” Nathaniel stumbles a bit as he replies.
In the background, Alix rolls her eyes, they’ve been going out for four months now, you’d think they’d be a little less shy about it.
