1. Yonghoon
“Do you want to join us for movie night on Friday? Everyone gets a plus one this week, it’s going to be chaos.” Sunwoo asks over the phone.
“I’d love to, but I have plans.” Giuk responds with a sigh.
“A date?”
“Kind of, Yonghoon hyung promised to take me to a bass convention. It was kind of a birthday present.”
“Yonghoon hyung is taking you on a date?”
“I guess, we don’t spend that much time together 1 on 1 and he wanted to take me somewhere special.”
“So you’re going with Yonghoon hyung and not Dongmyeong?”
“Well, Dongmyeong hyung isn’t as interested in string instruments as Yonghoon hyung is.”
“Ok then, have fun.”
“You too, I hope movie night isn’t too loud.”
“Dongmyeong doesn’t mind you going on a date with Yonghoon hyung?”
“No, why would he?” Giuk tilts his head to one side.
“I just thought… never mind.” Sunwoo hangs up and shrugs. Maybe it’s a friend date.
2. Hyungu
It’s 3a.m and Sunwoo is in Giuk’s small studio listening to the beats his best friend had made for him to choose from. Giuk looks expectantly at him, always enjoying Sunwoo getting inspiration to write lyrics for his sounds. Giuk’s watch beeped three times in quick succession. He paused the music then pressed the face and spoke into it.
“What?” he asked.
Beep boop. “Baby, where are you?” Hyungu’s voice sounds muffled and tired.
Beep boop. “I’m in the studio.”
Beep boop. “Come to bed, I miss you.” Sunwoo looks confused at the situation.
Beep boop. “I’m with Sunwoo.”
Beep boop. “Oh, hi Sunwoo, tell Giuk not to stay up too late.”
Giuk lifts his wrist towards Sunwoo and presses the watch. Beep boop. “I will hyung, I’m just choosing a beat. I’ll send him home before 4,” Sunwoo says quietly.
Beep boop. “I’m going to watch one episode of a drama, you’d better be here when it ends, I want cuddles.”
Beep boop. “Don’t wait up for me babe; you need sleep.” Sunwoo is definitely confused as to why his best friend is flirting with someone other than his boyfriend but maybe he’s just like that with all of Onewe.
Beep boop. “So do you Giuk-ah. Come back soon.”
Beep boop. “Okie.” He shakes hi head fondly then resumes the music.
“Has Hyungu hyung always been that clingy?” Giuk nods. “And Dongmyeong doesn’t mind?”
“No, why would he?” Giuk tilts his head to one side.
“I just thought… never mind.” The rest of their session goes well. Sunwoo leaves with a new beat saved on his phone and Giuk makes it home before Hyungu’s episode has ended.
3. Harin
It’s not often that Sunwoo goes to the Onewe dorm, usually he meets Giuk at RBW or an internet café. He knocks on the door and prays that it’s the right one. Yonghoon opens the door and invites him in. He takes his shoes off and waits awkwardly in the entryway.
“He’s in the kitchen. You know where that is right?” Sunwoo nods and Yonghoon takes that as his cue to disappear into one of the bedrooms. Sunwoo walks to the kitchen and freezes. Giuk is back hugging Harin at the stove and Harin is letting him taste some of what he’s cooking. He doesn’t know what to think. Is his best friend cheating on his boyfriend or is he just like that with all of Onewe? He clears his throat to let his presence be known. Giuk jumps and turns around.
“Sunwoo, you’re early,” Giuk says with a smile. “I’ll grab a jacket and then we can go, or do you want some of what Harin hyung is cooking?”
“It smells good, but I already ate. You can eat before we go though.” Giuk nods. The two sit on the floor around the table, talking about music and videogames, while they wait for Harin finish cooking.
Harin brings a bowl of food over for Giuk and himself and pecks him on the top of his head, before sitting and the table to.
“Thanks for the food!” Giuk says, then tucks in. Sunwoo is in mild shock after Harin’s act of affection, but he tries to ignore it.
Once he’s finished eating, Harin offers to wash up so the two younger boys can get on their way and Giuk thanks him and leaves with Sunwoo.
“You and Harin hyung seem close.”
“Obviously.”
“And Dongmyeong doesn’t mind?”
“No, why would he?” Giuk tilts his head to one side.
“I just thought… never mind.” They spend the next few hours at an arcade with a group of friends from school and Sunwoo tries not to think about Giuk cheating on Dongmyeong.
4. Yonghoon
“To your left, kill, kill, kill!” Giuk shouts down his microphone.
“Retreat!” Sunwoo shouts back.
“Nice shot, Jihoon!” Giuk says.
“Woobin, can I get a heal?” asks Sunwoo.
“15 seconds,” he responds.
“Giuk behind you!” yells Jihoon.
“Got ‘em.” Giuk cheers as they win the round, missing the sound of the door opening. He doesn’t notice anyone has even entered the room until Yonghoon is trying to sit in his lap. He is unsuccessful purely because of how long his limbs are. “Hyung, not now. I’m busy.” Yonghoon doesn’t respond, instead he tries to sit on Giuk’s gaming chair, behind the smaller boy. “There’s like 2 seconds before the next round begins.”
“Baby,” Yonghoon whines.
“Is that Dongmyeong?” Sunwoo asks.
“No it’s Yonghoon hyung being a menace.” Giuk says as he stands up so Yonghoon can sit on the chair properly.
“Oh,” Sunwoo responds unintelligently. Giuk drops into Yonghoon’s lap.
“Oof,” Yonghoon lets out a breath.
“No funny business hyung.”
“Ready Giuk?” Jihoon asks.
“Yeah let’s do this.” They win the next few rounds and beat the other team 14-12 overall.
“Well done baby,” Yonghoon says as he presses kisses into Giuk’s hair. “Are you done now?” Giuk nods.
“Guys I’m gonna have to call it there, Yonghoon hyung’s being clingy. Speak soon, yeah?” He receives a slew of Goodbyes and hangs up. Immediately he gets a pm from Sunwoo on Discord.

Giuk shrugs and logs off turning round in Yonghoon’s arms to kiss him. Yonghoon closes his eyes and wraps his arms around Giik’s waist.
“Thanks for not distracting me too much.” Giuk places another kiss on Yonghoon’s lips and buries his head in the elder’s neck.
5. Harin
Sunwoo is back in Giuk’s studio to record a song for SoundCloud. He’s refining the lyrics with Giuk’s help whilst the bassist sets up for recording.
Once they’re happy with the lyrics, Sunwoo starts practicing his flow and timing. Giuk starts and stops the music, as necessary.
Giuk gets a Kakao Talk message on his computer and opens it. It’s a selfie from Harin with him sat legs open in a tank top and shorts with the caption ‘like what you see?’. Giuk immediately closes the tab and flushes a bright pink.
“Sorry you had to see that,” he mumbles to a stunned Sunwoo.
“I’m gonna head to the bathroom before we record.” Giuk nods as he leaves, biting the inside of his cheek.
While in the bathroom Sunwoo messages Sangyeon for advice. He responds immediately and just tells Sunwoo it’s probably nothing. He sighs and sends a weak agreement as a response.

Meanwhile back in the studio Giuk is nervously pulling at his sleeves. What will Sunwoo think of him receiving, provocative photos at work? He should have told Harin that Sunwoo was here. He shouldn’t have just opened his messages like that. What if it had been a full on nude? Sunwoo didn’t need to see Harin’s dick. He hears a knock at the door and opens it. Harin looks worried at the door.
“I saw you read the message and you didn’t respond, is everything ok. You usually respond instantly.”
“Sunwoo saw it.”
“Oh, shit I’m sorry. Where did he go?”
“Bathroom. It’s not your fault hyung I should have told you he was here.”
“I’m gonna leave so I’m not here when he comes back. You’ll be ok right?”
“Yeah, we’ve been friends long enough. It’ll fix itself eventually.” Harin places a gentle kiss on the top of Giuk’s head.
“Come find me when he’s gone.” Giuk nods and Harin leaves.
By the time Sunwoo gets back, the studio is fully set up for recording. The atmosphere is slightly more awkward than usual, but they manage to record Sunwoo’s song without a hitch.
“I should finish the producing by the end of the week, I’ll send you updates as I go.”
“Thanks dude, this is gonna be great I can already tell.”
“Sorry about Harin again, he didn’t know you were here.”
“Does he always send post work out pictures to you?”
“Not always but sometimes he does.” Sunwoo nods.
“And Dongmyeong doesn’t mind?”
“No, why would he?” Giuk tilts his head to one side.
“I just thought… never mind.”

The message on Sunwoo’s phone reads:
i finished the edit, you can come get the usb whenever you’re ready
if i don’t answer the door, i'm probably not there. you know the pin
He knocks on the door again just in case but there is still no answer, so he puts in the pin and pushes the door open. He turns the lights on, and two figures wrapped in each other’s arms on the chair wake up, blinking quickly. It takes Sunwoo an embarrassingly long time to realise it’s Hyungu and Giuk. Sunwoo can’t keep overlooking this. He may be Giuk’s friend and not Dongmyeong’s, but he won’t stand for cheating.
“Giuk, we need to talk.” Giuk’s eyes widen at the tone Sunwoo uses. He nods, scared, and follows Sunwoo into the corridor.
“I know I’m not really Dongmyeong’s friend, but I feel like I should stand up for him.”
“Sunwoo, what the hell are you talking about.”
“You’re cheating on him with the rest of your bandmates!” Sunwoo’s voice is too loud to be having this conversation in the RBW building. “I won’t stand for it. You and Hyungu hyung just now? That’s the last straw.” It finally clicks in Giuk’s head.
“Oh,” he says. “Oh, I thought I told you.”
“Told me what? That you wanted to hurt Dongmyeong’s feelings.”
“No. Sunwoo calm down and let me speak.”
“Calm down,? My best friend has basically been betraying his boyfriend for months.”
“I haven’t been cheating on him. I’m dating all of them, Dongmyeong is too. All five of us are in a relationship together. I thought I told you.” Giuk looks at his feet.
“Oh.”
“Yeah, oh. I can’t believe you thought that low of me.” They meet eyes again.
“I thought I’d connected the dots.” It’s Sunwoo’s turn to look down.
“You didn’t connect shit.”
“Sorry for assuming the worst.” Sunwoo pulls Giuk into a friendly hug.
“It’s ok, I should have told you.” Giuk pulls away. “You came for the USB right?” Sunwoo nods and follows him into the studio.
“Everything ok?” Hyungu asks, voice laced with concern.
“Yeah, Sunwoo just thought I was cheating on Dongmyeong.”
“You should have told me about your four boyfriends before I had a chance to come to those conclusions,” Sunwoo retorts. Hyungu just shakes his head fondly. Sunwoo takes the USB and leaves. Giuk turns the light off and finds his way back into Hyungu’s lap. This will be a fun story to share with the others when they are more awake.
