Work Text:
Youngjae woke with a grunt when a sharp elbow digged painfully into his stomach, his bleary eyes opening to watch with a glare as the culprit climbs over him to get off the bed and moves frantically around the room
Rubbing his naked stomach with a pout on his face, he grumbles "What the hell, Hyung"
Instead of giving the younger one an answer, the other tossed a shirt to the boy with a rushed order for the boy to start dressing up, making him grumble louder when it lands on his face. Sitting up after pushing the clothing off, he watches as the guy buttons on his shirt in a hurry.
"What are you in such a rush for?" the Slytherin drawls, watching as the older grabs the black, red and gold robe off of the floor and quickly throwing a spell to iron it out
"You may not care about the time, Youngjae but I'm very late, thank you so much" Jaebeom says, giving Youngjae a millisecond glare before he's wildly looking around the room in search of something
Lazily throwing a time spell, Youngjae raises an eyebrow "It's not that late, we could've fit in a few make out sessions"
Glaring harder with a noticeable blush on his cheeks, Jaebeom huffs before picking his bag up and rushing to the door after he swiped his tie off the table.
Eyebrows raising, Youngjae calls out "Hyung, that tie-"
"I don't want to hear anything more, Choi. Quickly dress up before the food gets finished" the Gryffindor says matter of factly, slamming the door to the head boy quarter off.
Snorting, Youngjae walks lazily to the table, picking up the tie that ended up under the table from one of their careless toss. Honestly, Youngjae couldn't really remember where things were tossed and who tossed which things. Yesterday night was a flurry of hands grabbing each other and ripping clothes off without a care.
Snickering lowly, Youngjae pockets the tie giddily, getting ready for what is guaranteed to be an eventful day.
--
Plopping down into the seat at the head of the Gryffindor's table, Jaebeom glares at a Ravenclaw who was staring at him, making him turn away hurriedly.
He has been used to the stares that he gets daily but the amount of times he's been stared at just on his way to the dining hall is making him concerned, he doesn't look that rumpled does he? Because contrary to what his friends may say, he actually does have an image as the head boy to uphold.
He shoves his food into his mouth, eyes scanning the hall as he watches more people staring or glancing at him, whispering among themselves.
"Hey, JB" Mark greets without giving him a glance, sitting down next to him before quickly piling foods onto his plate.
Elbowing the red head, Jaebeom glances at him "Do you know why people are staring at me so much?"
Rolling his eyes, Mark chews while scanning the Daily Prophet placed next to his plate without a care "People are always staring at you, JB. Is this supposed to be news to you?"
"No, you don't understand. Their stares are way more intense today."
Mark frowns before finally turning his head to look at his friend, mouth opening before suddenly stopping and staring at him too. Jaebeom sighs at him, "Mark. Don't start this, it's not funny. "
Mark tilts his head, eyes sparkling in humour "Well, JB-"
"Hi, head boy"
The two friends whips around to look to the direction of the voice, Jaebeom quickly raising an eyebrow while Mark seems to be having an epiphany from the appearance of the boy.
"Choi." Jaebeom huffs, wondering why the Slytherin is here standing in front of the Gryffindor table as if he wasn't the one who suggested that they keep their relationship secret.
Youngjae looks around the hall disinterestedly, giving a sweetly fake smile to the students staring at the weird sight of a Slytherin talking to the Gryffindor head boy.
Turning back to look at the older, he grins his mischievous smile at him which sets off alarms in Jaebeom's head because that particular smile tells him that the younger is planning something and whether or not Jaebeom would like that something is a wild card most of the times. This doesn't stop his lips from curling up softly though, helpless against the other's smile no matter what lies behind it.
Watching as Youngjae digs into his sling bag in search of something, Jaebeom ignores the burning stares from the rest of the students and the insistent pokes from his friend sitting next to him.
Letting out a soft 'aha!', the younger sends the older one his otter-like smile before dangling something long right in front of his face. Leaning back to look at it with a frown, Jaebeom feels blood draining out of his face as his hand grasps wildly at the tie wrapped around his collar, glancing down and staring in horror as he sees green and silver adorning the long fabric instead of red and gold.
He's wearing a Slytherin tie instead of his own Gryffindor tie.
He's wearing Youngjae's tie.
Eyes snapping up to the younger, he gapes as he sees the younger trying to hold in his mirth but there's no mistaking the sparks dancing in the younger's eyes and the pretty blush painted high on his cheekbones that comes out from his amusement.
Hand moving fast, Jaebeom nearly falls off the long bench in his effort to take hold of the tie in hopes of ending his embarrassment faster. He blinks as his fist closes around air, the Slytherin apparently expecting the move and pulling the tie away from the other to hide it behind his back with a grin.
Shaking his head softly with the bratty grin still on his face, Youngjae puts the red and gold embroided tie on, all the while keeping eye contact with Jaebeom.
"Youngjae, I swear to god-"
Hand reaching out, Youngjae lays a gentle hand on the head boy's cheek, making him freeze. Chuckling softly, Youngjae pats his boyfriend's cheek before walking away backwards, still staring into the other's eyes "You look great in green, head boy."
Jaebeom watches with his mouth left gaping as Youngjae skips over to the Slytherin's table and sits next to one of his best friend, Bambam.
Ignoring the whispers that erupted after the spectacle, Jaebeom goes to pull the tie off his collar but halted when he caught sight of his other half staring at him from a few tables over with a pout. Sighing, he allows his hand to fall away from the tie and picks his spoon up to continue finishing his breakfast.
"Yah, this isn't over" Mark says, elbowing the boy next to him
Groaning, Jaebeom ignores the other and stares right ahead only to groan harder when a boy with black and blue robes on plops down in front of him with a sarcastic smile on his face, eyes forming tiny whiskers
"Well, Jaebeom that was interesting to watch" Jinyoung says, smiling sugar sweet at Jaebeom "It's nice to know my best friend is keeping something like this from me"
"I would never keep anything a secret from you, nyoung" Mark says, thumping his chest with a fist and smiling charmingly at the other.
Jaebeom rolls his eyes as Jinyoung laughs joyfully, smiling with satisfaction at Mark "I'm glad I have someone I can actually trust here"
Groaning, Jaebeom pushes his plate away before getting up and glancing at the snakes' table only to find his boyfriend missing. Huffing, Jaebeom speed walked out of the hall, ignoring the calls from his friends.

"You're the first to leave and the last to arrive," Mark says, watching as Jaebeom basically throws himself onto the seat next to the skinny guy, breath heavy "Having tie exchange session again?"
Shoving the other's shoulder, he grumbles poutily "Stop it.."
Eyebrows raising, Mark stares at the green tie still hanging around the other's neck "You still have that"
"I tried to find him, but the fucker keeps disappearing" Jaebeom grumbles, finding it pointless to not talk about it anymore now that almost half of the school had seen what went down with their own two eyes while the others has heard the news that is spreading like wildfire as if a Slytherin talking to the cold, popular head boy is the most exciting thing to happen.
"Careful, next time it's gonna be the robes if you aren't careful" Mark snickers, enjoying the rare sight of the other blushing
"I'm not that stupid, Mark." Jaebeom snarls, trying all his might to ignore his best friend and instead focus on the teacher upfront.
Snorting, Mark stares pointedly at his tie, causing Jaebeom's blush to intensify even as he stares stubbornly at the blackboard.
Taking pity on his friend, Mark laughs under his breath and turns to look to the front as well after telling his friend to change his tie when he could.
It wasn't like Jaebeom didn't try to get back his tie from his younger boyfriend, he left breakfast early in search of the other but to no avail. The boy was nowhere to be found, presumably hiding from him on purpose.
The day continues on like that, Jaebeom would see a fluffy head of brown hair looking at him and as soon as he walks over to him, the boy is gone. Sometimes Jaebeom should really ask Youngjae how many secret passages in Hogwarts he has found.
Lunch time arrived and yet Jaebeom has yet been able to get ahold of the kidnapper of his tie. He sits down forcefully, mood sour mostly from the fact that he hasn't been able to talk to his boyfriend at all today rather than the fact that he's still wearing a Slytherin tie considering his boyfriend runs anytime he sees even a tuft of Jaebeom's jet black hair.
"Well someone is grumpy" Mark teases, sitting down next to him while Jackson and Jinyoung moves to sit in front of the two.
Jaebeom stares at the two in front of him, eyebrows raised "You guys aren't supposed to be at this table"
Ignoring what he said, Jackson leans across the table to look deep into Jaebeom's eyes "Heard you got bullied, JB. By that Choi kid"
Blinking owlishly at his friend, Jaebeom frowns "Bullied..?"
"Well yeah, they said he took your tie and slapped you" Jackson frowns, sitting back down on his seat "Just say the word and I'll beat him up for you, dude."
Laughing at the Hufflepuff, Jinyoung shakes his head "I don't think that's the situation here, Jackson."
"Is that what people has been saying?" Jaebeom asks, voice quiet
"Some, I guess. Also heard some people cursing Choi out for daring to take precious Lim head boy, Hogwarts' treasure, away from them" Mark snickers, bumping shoulders with his friend
"Well, I don't know what happened but if he really is a bitch then JB I can-" Jackson cuts himself off with a shriek when Jaebeom slams his fist onto the table.
"Stop it, he's not like that and that wasn't what happened." Jaebeom growls before glancing at the Slytherin table and saw that the brown haired guy is walking out of the hall, free of care of what's happening at the Gryffindor table
Standing up, Jaebeom picks his bag up hurriedly and sprints away, though not before telling Jackson to shut his mouth about Youngjae because quote unquote, that's his boy they're badmouthing.
Jaebeom grins in satisfaction when he sees his boyfriend walking leisurely in the hallway, moving fast to grab ahold of his arm and tugging him into an empty classroom. Youngjae yelps as he was slammed against the closed door, Jaebeom's wrist flicking lazily to spell the door shut with a lock.
"You." Jaebeom growls, hands pinning the younger's arm to the door, their faces inches apart
Youngjae grins, dark eyes watching his boyfriend intently "Me"
"You little shit, stealing my tie and hiding away from me all day long?" Jaebeom hisses, grip tightening the hold on the smaller guy's arm
"I stole nothing, you were the idiot who-" Youngjae whimpers as his words was cut off by lips crashing into his, kissing his way in roughly, just the way Youngjae likes it.
One hand relenting the death grip on the boy's arm, Jaebeom slides his fingers through the brown strands gently before gripping it tight, making the younger mewl into his mouth
They parted with heavy gasps, lungs burning for oxygen before Youngjae uses the hand that wasnt pinned to the door to pull the older in again, hand on his nape
Jaebeom pushes the Slytherin harder against the door, bodies flushed together as he pushes his tongue in, enjoying the way the younger whines and whimpers. Youngjae trails his hand down from the other's nape down to his chest, fingers stopping purposefully over the hard nubs.
Pulling off with a soft 'pop', Jaebeom leans back and breathes heavily, a string of saliva still connecting their lips, his hand immediately pulling the younger's fingers away from his chest "No, Choi."
Youngjae whines when Jaebeom's body detached from his, hands fisted into his robe to try and pull the older back in "Beomie... please.."
"We have classes to attend, Jae" Jaebeom says, straightening his shirt and hair out.
Youngjae pouts, "We can skip"
Eyebrows raising, Jaebeom shakes his head before picking his bag from the floor and moving to open the door, only managing to get one feet out of the door before he was pulled back in forcefully and shoved against the door
"Hyung" Youngjae whines, looking up at him with sad puppy eyes "Skipping once won't be the end of the world"
Jaebeom chuckles fondly, hands moving up to squish the boy's cheeks "Go to class, Jae. We can do anything you want to do at my room where there's actually privacy instead of in a classroom where anyone could just Alohomora the locks open"
Youngjae's eyes seems to darken even more at that, "Anything?"
Jaebeom nods with an exasperated but fond eye roll before pushing the other off of him, hand on the handle but was once again stopped, this time by hands gripping his fingers softly
Turning back to look at his lover, Jaebeom's heart thumps at how soft the other looks pouting sadly at him
"One last kiss?"
The Gryffindor smiles, moving in to place a gentle peck on the corner of Youngjae's lips, "The day will be over in no time, baby"
Youngjae huffs, "That wasn't a real kiss, Hyung."
"I'm not letting you trick me into getting distracted by your pretty little lips, Choi." Jaebeom says, hand moving up to caress the boy's cheek lovingly
"Tsk, mission failed" Youngjae jokes, making the older snicker. Moving away slightly, Youngjae pulls the red tie off before holding it out to Jaebeom, "Your long awaited prize"
Snorting, Jaebeom tugs on the shorter male's collar to press a peck on his lips before finally opening the door and stepping out without taking the tie offered to him, "Keep it, you look good in red. Let people know you're mine and I'm yours"
Youngjae blushes as he gapes at his boyfriend who sprints down the hallway, no doubt late for his class.
"I've created a monster..."

(Extra?)
Jaebeom runs his fingers through Youngjae's hair, the boy laying with his head on Jaebeom's chest.
"Jae-ah" Jaebeom calls, voice soft. Youngjae hums, showing that he's listening and is in fact not yet asleep
"You really don't mind people knowing about our relationship now? I don't want you to be uncomfortable "
Youngjae stills for a second before he shifts to lay stomach down, his chin on the other's chest so that he could look into his eyes "Beom it was my decision, it's okay. I love you and I want people to know that."
Smiling fondly at the younger, jaebeom moves his hand up and down his bare back, "Alright. I love you too, baby. What made you change your mind though? You were quite set on not wanting people to know back then"
Youngjae hums, laying his head down again until the only thing Jaebeom could see is the top of his head, mumbling softly under his breath
"What was that?"
"I didn't want to ruin your reputation as head boy, what with me being a Slytherin." Youngjae confesses, voice barely above a whisper "It's worse that I'm not particularly a very good student, always coming near bottom of the class and always getting house marks deducted because of me"
Jaebeom frowns, hands pulling on his boyfriend until the smaller is directly on top of him, his face held in Jaebeom's hand "You're the most perfect human to ever exist in my life, you know. It doesn't matter how well you do in school or which house you're from, I love you for who you are as a person."
Cheeks flushing, Youngjae pulls the older's hands off his face so that he could bury his burning face into the other's nape, making him laugh at the adorable sight "I love you so much, Jae"
"I love you too" Youngjae mumbles shyly before moving to peck at the purple mark left on the older's neck, courtesy of Youngjae himself earlier.
"You know.. now that everyone knows, we should bring our friend groups together to hang out" Jaebeom suggests, laughing when he hears the other male groaning
"Lord, I don't know if I can handle Yugyeom and Bambam merged with your friends"
Jaebeom snickers, arms moving to wrap around Youngjae's waist lazily "It'll be a lot, but I'm sure we can power through it with the strength of our love"
Giggling, youngjae nods his head "I saw people exchanging ties yesterday, definitely our influence Hyung"
"Totally."
