Good Girl

Summary:

Jade's having a bad day and Beck comforts her in a closet

Notes:

This was just a quick little thing that popped into my head. It's not good or very detailed, but whatever.

Work Text:

“Be a good girl.”

Jade gasps at the words, the urge to mule like a cat rising in her chest. Beck’s calloused thumb grazed her flushed cheek, almost ticklish, almost petting. Beck’s voice was soft and light, teeming on teasing, but the warning behind it stood. Her skin crawled in the most delightful way. Electricity strumming in her stomach, promising to climb her and spread to every limb and crevice.

Jade fought with herself. Between wanting to lower her pearly eyes and submit or to keep up the bratty attitude and defy.

------

She’d been in a particularly snappish mood today. This morning her mother had glared at her, a cigarette between her fingers as she looked her daughter up and down, grimacing at the black eyeshadow and ripped pantyhose beneath a short pleated skirt. She uttered to word

‘Whore’ under her breath and that was all it took for Jade to storm out the house, fighting back tears. Beck had consoled her the best he could but there was nothing he could do to stop the vicious mood Jade had settled into. By noon classes, she had already broken a pair of scissors, snapped at a teacher, and gotten detention, and mocked Tori for her less than appealing up-do. It was when Jade said something particularly mean to Cat, causing the girl to flee away in tears, that Beck drew the line.

Beck dragged Jade away for the lunch table by her arm, being careful of her wrist where he knew she still had a healing cut. It had been a tough week for Jade, and Beck could see her struggling with herself, doing only the worst things to cope.

Jade had called Beck at four in the morning on Monday, sobbing. She had a fight with her father, and one thing led to another, and she ended up locking herself in her room, blood running down her hand. “I didn’t mean to,” she sobbed, and Beck was already in his car, pushing his key into the ignition.

“Where are you taking me?” Jade snapped, abandoning her tofu salad with a groan.

“Somewhere to calm down,” Beck signed, exasperated.

“I don’t need to calm down.”

Beck led them into an old prop room, pushing aside a hanging plastic skeleton, and a large sken. Once the door closed behind them, Beck pushed Jade back against it, causing a surprised gasp to erupt from her chest.

“What are you-” Jade cut off as Beck’s soft lips pushed against hers, silencing her.

“Yes,” Beck pulled away from a now blushing Jade, “You do.”

Beck’s hand came up to gently wrap around Jade’s throat, not adding any pressure, but simply setting it there, letting Jade absorb the message. A silent meaning behind the simple gesture. “I’m in charge now. Focus on me.”

Jade’s breath stuttered, heart starting to dance. Immediately, Jade felt a sense of calm wash over her. The want to let her mind sink into that soft place where all bad thoughts could melt away and leave her feeling mushy.

But the urge to be playful and bratty came as well. The longer she held out from completely giving in, the greater the reward of her submission would be.

She pushed against Beck, snapping her teeth.

“I don’t need to calm down.”

A smirk rose on Beck’s face. A twinkle in his eye. In a swift movement, he had both Jade’s hands pinned against the door with one of his, pressing his entire body against hers.

“Be a good girl,” Beck murmured.

The hand on Jade’s neck tightened slightly, just a fraction more pressure, but it was enough to make Jade go pliant. Beck’s knee came up to rest between Jade’s legs. Soft fingers found their way under her shirt, rubbing soft little circles into the skin of her stomach.

“I know how stressful it’s been for you right now, baby. I just want to make you feel better, hmm?.”

He moved the hand from her neck to caress her cheek, wiping his thumb against a tear that had slipped out.

“Why are you crying, baby?”

Jade stirred, not having realized she had started crying. “I don’t- I don’t know.”

Beck smiled, soft and gentle, promising comfort and a trip to that floaty place she craved. “That’s okay pretty girl, I’ll help you figure it out.”

Their lips met again, harder this time. Bruising. Beck’s tongue met Jade’s lips, enticing them apart. A whine escaped Jade as she pushed her body as far into Beck’s as she could. Wanting to merge their bodies together and stay in the safety and comfort that was her dominant.

Eventually, they had to break apart, gasping for breath. Jade went soft and floaty in her need for air.

They stayed there for a few minutes longer, enjoying as much of each other as they could.

Much too soon, the bell for third period rang, and the two had to part. Jade sighed, missing the sweet contact already.

“I don’t want to go back out there,” she whined.

Beck grinned his classic grin, the one that lighted love in Jade’s chest. “I know you don’t want to, baby, but we gotta. It’ll be okay, I promise.”

Jade sighed, feeling suddenly put down. “Tell me you love me?”

Beck led them back out of the closet into the open hallways, with teenagers and teachers alike bustling around.

He pulled Jade back into one last kiss, strong hands holding her waist. He pulled away, and pushed their foreheads together, letting them rest and breath before they had to finally part. “I love you.”

“‘Kay,” Jade chirped, a smile gracing her pretty lips, and off they went to their next class, hand in hand.
