MSBY Bokuto Koutarou and Adlers Ushijima Wakatoshi who also are National athletes were invited for an interview. This is for a Japan sports magazine that to be released next month and the topic is who is the most troublesome middle blocker for spikers like them.
After the interviewer asked the question, both of them immediately said, "Kuroo/Kuroo-san". Kou was taken aback 'cause how did Waka know Kuroo's play? They didn't even meet at the Nationals. But shortly understood who he is referring to.
"He isn't a show-off blocker but you'll feel frustrated 'cause he can kill block or one-touch almost all spikes. His team is great in defense and it's really tiring to do rally with them." Kou continued.
The interviewer nods and said he understood him as he watched a few of his games before.
Curiously, Kou asked if he is from Tokyo and immediately shook his head and told him that he is from Sendai and went to Johzenji High. He then proceeded to listen to Waka.
"For me, it's Kuroo-san. Aside from his height which is an advantage, he is more like the brain of his team. He studies his opponents thoroughly and you won't realize that you're already in the palm of his hand. He may come as stoic during the game but I know his mind is working to find a solution to break their opponent."

After a few more questions, the interview wrapped up. The interviewer concluded that if both of the most competent spikers who were also national athletes acknowledged Kuroo-san as a great middle blocker, he should be feared.
Then it clicked to Kou.
"Uh Sir, Waka and I were not talking about the same person. I'm pertaining to Kuroo Tetsurou. He is the captain of Nekoma High MVT when I was the captain of Fukurodani. Both of our team qualified for Spring Interhigh Nationals that time."
The interviewer clarified if it's the same as Kuroo Tetsurou of JVA, Kou smiled widely and nods.
He also clarified to Waka if he is pertaining to Kuroo Kei of Sendai Frogs in which Waka confirms to.
Interested, he continued to ask if the two were siblings or related of a sort.
"Well, they're husbands," Kou stated.
