Chapter 1: Meeting For The First Time

Chapter Text

The Sakamaki household is filled with pain, secrets, and bloodlust. In it, a woman named Yui Komori was in the process of having her blood being sucked from her by a vampire named Laito, a man who cannot pull off a fedora.

“Ah, well don't you just taste absolutely divine~?” Latio asked his victim.

Yui just hummed in agreement, hoping the pain would stop if she did.

Laito clicked his tongue. “Oh, little bitch, that was a rhetorical question. I thought you learned that the last time...”

“O-Oh... Well, I just thought you were serious this ti-” Laito bit down hard on Yui, stopping her from speaking.

Yui started to feel faint and on the verge of tears. “Laito... Please...”

To her surprise, the vampire actually stopped.

“Alright, you win. But I'm going to punish you later~”

“For- For what?”

“You ruined our time together, so, you have to make up for it. And when we're more... Intimate... We just have so much fun together, don't we?” He whisper into her ear.

Yui tried not to shudder at his comment, and tried not to remember what ‘intimate’ meant. Instead she nodded her head.

Laito smirked and walked away.

Yui let out a breath. She walked away as quickly as she could to her room without falling. She locked her bedroom door, got on her bed, and started to pray. Well, it was more of begging for help in the praying position, but what can you do?

“Do you need something, Yui Komori?” A woman's voice questioned.

“... God?” Yui looked up. She didn't think that God was a woman, but maybe she is.

“Oh, I wish. I could finish all of these men off if that were the case.”

“Are you an angel then?”

“No, not enough eyes. Tell you what, if you want to know what I really am, go into your bathroom.”

“That sounds suspicious, mysterious voice.”

“Listen Komori, I want to talk to you. Please?”

‘Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt...’

“Good. Now c'mon~”

“Wait, what?”

“Chop chop Komori, chop chop.” The sound of hands clapping filled the air.

Yui went to the bathroom as instructed, expecting it to be some weird prank that one of the brothers was doing. Instead she didn't see any one in the room. Not even Shu, who sometimes was just in the bathtub. There wasn't a single person in there except Yui.

‘I must be imagining things. Maybe I need some more food or something...’

“No no, Ms. Komori. You simply have to look in the mirror.”

Yui complied with the mystery voice.

She stared at her reflection for a few moments. Then a woman appeared over her left shoulder. She had brown hair, yellow eyes, a mole underneath her cherry pink lips that were curled into a smirk. She was wearing a very skinny, black bow and a black dress.

“Who are you? What are you?” Yui asked, confused.

“Well, for starters, I'm a ghost,” The ghost then sat on the bathroom counter, “The name is Rin Kuramoto. Before you came along, I was the first bride to last a year. I also hoped I was the last bride ever, but obviously that isn't the case...”

“I see... So what do you need?”

“Closure.”

“What kind?”

“The murder kind.”

“... What?”
