I walked over to Yui Komori's house, my best friend since childhood. I was planning on giving her a gift, something that some demons gave to a human they liked. Or had a pact with.
It was a charm that can summon the demon that gave it to you. It was a pain to make, but it could be useful, right?
I got in the house, went to her room and essentially busted opened the door. “Hello Yui! What's my favorite hu- I mean person doing?” I asked her, watching her packed for something.
“Hi Irene,“ She smiled, “My father said that I had to go to some house for a bit while he went on a business trip.”
“What, you can't just stay here? I'll take care of you, he knows that right?” I gave her some puppy dog eyes, even though I knew it wouldn't work.
“My father also said that I shouldn't listen to you on this matter.”
‘Damnit Seiji!’
“Well, just you wait Ms. Komori, I'll make sure that I corrupt you one of these days!” I was only half joking about that. I am part demon after all, that's literally our whole schtick.
She giggled, how cute. “Oh really? Well I'd like to see you try Ms. Yukimura.”
“That sounds like a fun challenge~” I took her hand in mine and kissed the top of it. She blushed.
“I- Irene...” Yui stuttered, I guess I caught her off guard.
I smirked at her, which didn't help the blush. Then, someone knocked at the front door, ruining the moment. Quickly, I went downstairs and opened it, seeing a brown haired man taller than me with even browner eyes.
“Uh... Hi.” I said, somewhat annoyed.
“Hello there miss, I'm here for Ms. Yui Komori.” He said, looking down on me, literally.
“I'm here!” She called from the stairs. Yui walked up to the man.
“Good. I hope all of your things are packed because we have to leave now.”
‘Damnit ! Again!’
“Okay, I'll go get my suitcase. Irene, will you help me?”
‘Well I have to give her the charm somehow, and this seems like the perfect time to do it!’
“Of course Yui! You can always rely on me after all.”

Back upstairs, I decided to give Yui the charm, which is a simple silver necklace with a picture of the two of us in it... Okay, it was more of a locket, but I gave it to her anyways.
“A necklace? Is this a going away gift?” Yui questioned.
“I guess you can call it that,” I scratched the back of my neck, “But it's not just any necklace! It's magic.”
She gasped in excitement and her eyes lit up. “What kind of magic? How does it work?”
“Well, if you say my name three times, it summons me to your location. Or at least it should, I've haven't tested it yet.” I sheepishly grin.
“Then how can I trust it?” She squinted at the locket/necklace/thing.
“Yui,” I gave her puppy dog eyes again, “Please trust me on this...”
“Alright, I will,” Yui smiled and put the charm around her neck, “How does it look?”
I smiled back. “It looks good.”
“Are you ready Ms. Komori?” The brown haired man called.
“Oh, yes, of course!” Yui called back. I picked up her suitcase and we rushed downstairs, to make sure that the guy wasn't going to get angrier than probably already was.

Outside the house, I said goodbye to Yui.
“I'll miss you too Irene!”
“I'll miss you more~”
She smiled and blushed a little.
“Remember what to do with the necklace when you want to see me, okay?”
“Don't worry, I didn't forget that easily.”
“Good, good...”
The driver, who was the brown haired man, cleared his throat, and glared at me with annoyance.
“Oh... I guess you have to get going...”
“Well, it's my turn you give you something before I go! Come here.” She motioned me towards her.
I leaned down to her level and she kissed me! On the lips! Obviously, I didn't expect that. We were each other's first kisses- at least, I think I was Yui's first kiss- and the first time we kiss is this... I was stunned. I put one of my hands to me lips, and I could just tell I was blushing.
Yui was blushing too, and then she said, “Once I come back, I won't leave your side again, I promise!”
“You better keep that promise Yui!”
The driver cleared his throat louder this time.
“I guess I actually have to leave now. Goodbye Irene,” The car finally started, “Wait for me!”
“I will, I promise!”
We waved at each other until we couldn't she each other anymore.
Then, I woke up.
