Exams had been hard on all of them. Some reveled in their victory. Others stewed in bitter defeat. Some regained lost confidence. Others learned that not every problem can be solved with brute strength. Some learned to work through old feelings for each other. Others started to admit new feelings to themselves. Needless to say, they all needed a break, a way to blow off steam. So naturally…
“We can all have a sleepover at my house!” Yaoyorozu declared, clapping her hands together in excitement as her hostess instincts took over.
“Heck yes!”
“Yaomomo’s house is awesome!”
“Why would I want to hang around with you extras!”
“That’s not very manly…”
“We can tell spooky stories!”
“Let’s get wasted!”
Yaoyorozu’s parents wouldn’t be home that weekend, so the heroes-to-be had the whole house to themselves. The plans were made. Invitations were sent. Bags were packed. Soon enough, everyone was ready. It was time for the sleepover. There were those who were early and those who were late. Eventually everyone gathered in the spacious greeting room. Iida’s futile attempt to keep everyone together and organize a group activity was quickly crushed as smaller groups formed and the students split up.
Twenty-one teenagers. Who just took their exams. In a mansion. All alone. With no adult supervision.
It went about as well as anyone could expect.
