Pomegranate cookie walked the halls of Dark Enchantress’s mansion for her loyal followers. They had a dark grasp of the world, gaining power every day. Today, however, Dark Enchantress has summoned her for a conversation between them and only them.
Pomegranate entered the lair of her master, “You summoned me, master?”
“I did,” Dark Enchantress replies “I have something important to tell you”
“Ah, you are going to proceed to the next part of our plan?” Pomegranate guesses
“I am, but you are not going to be a part of it.” Dark Enchantress replies
Pomegranate took a pause “Master, what do you mean by that?”
“I am disowning you as I will the rest, you are no longer to serve under me.” Dark Enchantress explained, “I will not do this with you or the rest of them getting in my way.”
Pomegranate was silent, she was going to serve her to the last crumb in her body. Yet her master is going to throw her away like she was nothing but scrap? To her?
She was silent before responding “You really are mistaken”
“No I am not, I’m letting you go,” Dark Enchantress said firmly “You cannot follow me any longer”
“I understood that, master.” Pomegranate snips back “But you have some idiotic fucking decision making”
“What?” Dark Enchantress hissed
“I can say it again, old bitch, you have idiotic, foolish, half-witted decision making”
“You have no right to speak to me-”
“I have every right, for I am no longer under your servitude Dark Enchantress cookie”
“You still need to respect me for I will-” Dark Enchantress tried to blurt out
“You will what? Say it. You will what, you decrepit mistake of ingredients” Pomegranate responded
Dark Enchantress gripped her staff “You have no power over me, Pomegranate!”
“Oh but I do, you know those seeds? The ones you told me to throw around to corrupt people? You know, my seeds? I can take those out just as easily as I can put them in, they are mine after all” Pomegranate threw back.
Dark Enchantress grimaced “You can’t just uproot something that easily! Whether they are yours or not!”
“You know what, you just gave me an idea, you know that spring you told me to curse?”
“Yes, what about it?”
“I can just take those seeds out, pull a few strings and your escapades are over as quickly I could snap your arm,” Pomegranate said, more viciously as she spoke
“There is no way you are going to-”
“And who’s stopping me? You? The rest of them? They’ll be pleased, and you’ll be dust”
“DUST?”
“Yes dust, you and your methods to try and intimidate the witches is going to lead you into failure,” Pomegranate said, just trying to make her angrier
“My methods and decisions to let everyone go are more than tactile and will lead me to victory! And you know this-”
“This is why Pure Vanilla pitied you” Pomegranate spat
“What?”
“This is why Pure Vanilla pitied you, you have horrid ideas that just get you and everyone else you loved and cared about hurt or worse.” She criticized “I suppose I should be thanking you one last time for clearing my mind, thinking you were worthy enough to be called ‘master’ was foolish of me”
“Pomegranate cookie! We are not done here!” Dark Enchantress yelled as Pomegranate turned to walk away
“From the moment you said I am no longer under your servitude we have been done. I do not need to listen to you any longer, therefore we are done here.”
“You are going to regret speaking to me this way!” Dark Enchantress taking her last chance to talk
Pomegranate turned back for her final response “I will not, but you will White Lily cookie. Goodbye”
The shut of the large doors was deafening to Dark Enchantress, but surely the others will not break her as much as she did. Dark Enchantress was a firm lady in her ways after all.
