This is my first time doing wordplay, and I signed up because I’m teaching a 5 week poetry unit, and I figured if I was going to write bad poetry anyway, I might as well do it for wordplay.
These are the assignments:
Week 1 Diamanté
Week 2 Couplet
Week 3 Idiom Doggerel
Week 4 Two or three stanza poem
Week 5 Free verse poem
A diamanté poem is written in the shape of a diamond.
