Chapter Text
This was it, you thought as a car came racing towards you. They had ran a red light as you were crossing the road. Just your luck.. you laughed.
Wait, laughing? You opened your eyes to nothing. It was pure black. Is this the afterlife? You shook your head.. that's when you looked down. The uh.. ground? Seemed closer. You looked at your hands and legs. Small. Am I.. a kid?!
You go to scream but nothing came out. You just huffed and crossed your arms to show your annoyance.
"Now, now. You might look like a child, but that doesn't mean you have to act like one." Startled, you looked all over the place for the sound of the voice. It was loud and sounded like it was coming from.. well, everywhere.
The voice laughed. Suddenly, a white figured appeared in front of you. "Child, do you know why I'm here?" You shook your head no. "I'm here to make you happy. You don't have much time left, but it'd be a waste to let you go on such a bad note."
You swore that the figure smirked.
"Would you like to come with me?" The white figured extended their hand. You glanced around. Well. There's no where else to go, is there? You reached for his hand. Every fiber of your being left screamed at you not to, but you didn't want to be left alone in the dark anymore.
You nodded and started to walk with him. The darkness started to turn a murky white, panels flooded the wall you didn't even realize was there. You looked at them and saw moving pictures. If you didn't know any better, you swore you could just jump in it and well.. be there.
The white figure was watching you as you looked around in amazement. It snapped it's fingers and suddenly everything was completely white. The panels on the walls surrounded them in a circle. They slowly moved around them, as if waiting for something.
"Now, my child. These are portals to another world. They are worlds you know of, but you can only pick one to save. They all need you in some way. Your job is to figure out what it is and why. Then, do it. Is that clear?" the white figure said. You gulped.
When you looked closer, you saw that they were actually TV shows. You'd be laughing right now if someone told you this when you were alive.. but this.. this almost seems too good to be true. Who wouldn't want to live out their favorite TV shows?
But you know they're all full of bloody murder, romance or humanely impossible people and if you were to survive in them, you'd need to be on top of your game. You weren't very athletic and relied on your intellect abilities in real life.
You carefully looked closer. Oh my god. These are all shows you loved when you were little. You got close to one that filled you with nostalgia. Hah. Naruto. You had a love-hate relationship with it. You skipped a lot of fillers the first time around but you honestly did finish it all in the end, including Shippuden. That was a long time ago though, and you barely remember it.
Suddenly you felt like you were falling. You were pushed.
