Today, September 22 was the V-league final, and Atsumu decided that if the Black Jackals win he would ask Sakusa to marry him.
-holy shit Samu- Atsumu said while walking around the MSBY changing room - I’m so fucking nervous…and excited and … WHAT IF HE SAYS NO? … OH MY GOSH I DIDN'T THINK THAT.
-slow down Tsumu. It’s just a question and I’m sure he is going to say yes.
Both brothers continued talking when the other member (except Kiyoomi) entered.
-Atsumu!!!!- yelled Hinata - I talked with Kageyama and asked him not to win so you can ask Sakusa “the question”
-what the fuck Hinata?- said Bokuto while grabbing Hinata and Atsumu by the neck with his arms - we are the best team, it is obvious we are going to win.
Hinata giggled - I know that. And Kageyama said that he wants to win the cup so he is going to do his best , though. But he wishes you good luck Atsumu.

The game finished and Atsumu put his knee on the ground and looked up to Sakusa - my love, my life…my everything. I know you don’t like to show affection in public and you prefer small things over something big…but I needed to ask you this in front of a lot of people because I want them to be witnesses of how much I love you.
Sakusa was starting to blush, and Miya smiled - I know that sometimes I’m a difficult person, but so are you. Even though our story started bad, everything turned out well… pretty well. If I have to describe it, I’d say we are the “enemies to lovers” cliché and I really don’t mind it . I mean I didn’t hate you… I guess I was really impressed, you were…are an amazing player, you seemed to be a Greek god or something because you are so fucking handsome. Everyone thinks you are serious and all that stuff but you are so freaking childish and corny and I really love you. I know that we don’t believe in labels but I really want to look at you and say “I’m the luckiest man alive, he is my husband “.
For God’s sake I’m talking a lot but I guess everyone…you… know what I’m saying.
So today, with my heart in my hands I ask you this “will you marry me?”.
Suddenly all the stadium became quiet. Everyone was expecting Kiyoomi’s answer.
Atsumu was worried “was I wrong?. Doesn’t he want to marry me?”.
After seconds (that felt like years to Atsumu), Sakusa talked - you fucking idiot. I can’t believe you. You ruined my fucking surprise
-what are you talking about?
- I bought two rings, and made a reservation at a nice restaurant for tomorrow but know everything it’s useless because you asked me first.
Atsumu laughed loudly -it doesn’t matter, we can have dinner there tomorrow, and you can ask me to marry you and I’m going to pretend that I didn’t know anything about.
-you must act great.
-you are going to think that my acting is worth an Oscar - Atsumu gave Sakusa a big smile - so what do you say, will you marry me?
Kiyoomi grabbed Atsumu by his face and kissed him while talking - YES -kiss -YES!!!! I AM GOING TO MARRY ATSUMU FREAKING MIYA!!!!

Hinata, Kageyama, Bokuto, Akaashi,Osamu, Suna and Kita were at Sakuatsu’s place celebrating the engagement.
-my brother is going to be a married man- said Osamu while hugging Atsumu.
-I still remember when he asked me dating tips - said Kita - he was angry because despite his effort Sakusa seemed not to be interested in him.
Atsumu replied - of course I was mad, more because this “goody “ - he pointed at Kageyama - got married and Omi wasn’t even looking at me.
-in fact, I looked at you- Sakusa said with a light blush - but I was nervous.
-he looked at you A LOT - bokuto said - Sakusa was to obvious, but you are so stupid that you didn’t notice .
Hinata agreed.
They continued talking and talking.
-hey Omi- Atsumu whispered -I’m going to buy more alcohol, we don’t have anything and we are missing the toast.
-it doesn’t matter, we can fill our glasses with water and toast with that, or something. Don’t leave.
-it won’t be the same … I'll be back soon.
- okay, but give me a kiss.

Sakusa was worried, the store wasn’t that far away and there was no sign of Atsumu.
He was looking outside through the window when his phone rang.
It was Atsumu.
-hey babe, where are you? - asked kiyoomi softly.
-Is this Kiyoomi Sakusa?
This wasn’t Atsumu’s voice.
-yeah…what happened?…where’s Atsumu? Where’s my Atsumu?

Atsumu died September 23 while saving a little girl.
He was walking to his car in the parking lot when he saw a girl in the middle of the street.
He walked towards the girl to move her, it was dangerous for her to be there.
But when he was about to reach the girl, Atsumu saw a car at the speed of sound moving to the little girl despite the red light.
Miya ran faster and pushed the girl outside the street, but the car hit him
On September 24, the MSBY offered an statement saying that his player, Atsumu Miya died while protecting the youth of this country,
A lot of fans showed up outside the stadium to show their respects to Atsumu and Sakusa, who lost his fiancé.
-honey, I can’t believe you are dead…it’s so fucking unfair … you were supposed to love by my side but you are not here anymore I hate you, I hate you …- Sakusa started crying - I’m lying, i love you and I will always do… but you were right, you died a legend .
