i miss the rage

Summary:

f/n l/n is an eighteen year old female who's exceptionally good at everything she does. little does she know, she has a gift called "little cat". it's where anything she sees, she can copy. if it's a big thing, it has a time limit depending on how big the thing she's copying is. if it's small, though, she can remember it and use it forever. she didn't know of this gift of hers until she met them, two big names in the port mafia. how'd she get this far without knowing her gift itself? she just assumed she was great and went on with her days.

“BREAKING NEWS! NEW PORT MAFIA MEMBER IS MAKING A HIT AFTER THEIR FIRST CRIME. THEY GO BY THE NAME ‘NIGHT’. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH INFORMATION ON THEM, BUT IF YOU SEE SOMEONE WITH A FEMININE BODY STRUCTURE, BEIGE CLOTHES, A WHITE MASK, AND CAT EARS, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM! THEY ARE DANGEROUS. T HANK YOU, XXX79 OUT.”

the report of this new member spread like wildfire as the town's chatter quickly shifted to it.

“ who could it be? ”

“ how dangerous are they? ”

thoughts rumbled the town and all you could do was chuckle at their distress. it was pitiful to you to see people freak out so crazily at an unknown. 

you sat up and started getting dressed for the day. you grabbed a white corset top, a black high-waisted skirt, a pair of ankle white laced socks, black mary jane heels, and a long beige coat. you grabbed thin circular glasses and a white headband to complete the look.

since you were new to the mafia, they'd given you an assignment to blow up one of the ex-executives houses. they had demonstrated how to use a bomb and you carried out the mission while using the bomb perfectly. the lower ranks of the mafia spread rumors and chattered for hours on end about you. 

due to how well you executed your first assignment, they gave you another. although, this time you have to be beyond perfection.

why?

you have two partners, both of which are extremely talented and great together.

hey! this is a note from just about a year later (when i first wrote this). i changed a small bit, but nothing too important to the plot. honestly, this is awful writing but i hope you enjoyed. i changed the nickname of hers to night instead of "neko-chan" cause honestly i think it sounds nicer. my writing has matured loads since early july 2021 (it's late june 2022 now) and i hope the difference in that writing and the next chapter are clear, even with the bit of editing i've made. i also edited the description of the story because, it's just about a year later, and my writing and ideas have evolved a lot. please leave comments, they make me so happy and please leave kudos! i love every one of you, even if we've never formally met, so much. remember to eat & drink today! xx
