"Daddy wake up!!"
Minato slowly opened his eyes to his own personal alarm clock or rather his Exited 4-year-old "I'm awake I’m awake" he said yawning and sitting up "good morning my Little Sunshine" he said hugging his son Naruto close to him. Naruto giggled exited at that Minato stood up and Picked the Toddler up "Up you go I guess it's time to get breakfast then" he said happily and went down into the Kitchen. He sat Naruto in his chair and went over to the Kitchen Counter to prepare Breakfast, Naruto bounced Happily in his chair how the Toddler already had so much energy already Minato couldn't understand, but it made him smile sadly, yes Naruto had so much energy just like his Mother oh He missed Kushina dearly it's been 4 years since she died, 4 years since he last got so see her, people say it gets easier over time, but they're lying the thought of her stings as much as the day she died, Minatos grip around the Knife he was holding tightened "daddy?" Naruto's voice snapped him out of his thoughts "ah Sorry, sorry Everything's alright don't worry" setting the plate with Beacon, eggs and a sandwich before Naruto "now eat up you need all your strength" he said and put on the brightest smile he could muster. Then he also sat down with his own plate and began to eat, not that he had really any appetite, but he needed the Energy for his Job.
After Kushina died the Money situation got terrible, Minato had to quiet his at the time job and live of savings for a few years to raise Naruto and finding a New Decent paying Job was hard with a 3-year gap in your resume, He currently has a Job in a new Office he didn't know how he got the job, maybe they just took pity on him, but it paid good money, so he was acutely Abel to move out of his one-bedroom apartment and into a decent sized one in a better neighborhood. Minato glanced at the Clock "we have to get ready" he said, Standing up "we don't want you to be late to your first day in the new Daycare"
"do I have to?" answered Naruto with a Pout," can't I go with you "
Minato Laughed at that "we talked about this you can't" he said petting Naruto's hair "but when your bigger you can come with me"
"Promise?"
"Promise, but now we have to get ready"
" okay" the toddler was back to being exited again and jumps down from his chair and ran in the direction of the bathroom, Minato smiled and followed him.
After the two of them got ready, Minato helped Naruto into his jacket" and remember you do what the Teachers tell you" Naruto looked at him "but what if they tell me not to do something I want to do?" "Then you don't do it, they have a reason to telling you why you shouldn't do it" answers Minato with a strict voice "okay Daddy" Said Naruto with a Pout
" okay do you have everything" Asked the Older
"yes" yelled the toddler and was bouncing on his feet in excitement "then we can go" said Minato and took his son's hand and went out the door, The daycare was only a 10 minuted walk away and his Office building was just 15 minutes from that it was perfect.
Standing in front of the Daycare, Naruto's excitement has melted into uncertainty, "what if they don't like me? What if they're mean? I don't want to go there" Minato Kneeled down "hey, hey calm down they will be nice" he hugged his son" and if they're not then we're going to find another daycare where they are okay?" sniffling Naruto nodded "okay" Minato stood up again and took Naruto's hand "then let's go in! "
"Welcome to Konoha daycare!" Inside they were greeted by a Kind looking man with brown hair and a scar over his face, "My name is Iruka and you are?"
"Minato Uzumaki I'm here to drop off my son Naruto Uzumaki"
"ah yes I remembered there was a New child coming today" he smiled and looked down to Naruto "Hello Naruto I'm Iruka, and I'm going to take care of you here" Naruto hid behind Minato and let out a soft 'hello' Minato smiled softly "Remember Naruto behave yourself and have fun" he said and hugged the toddler one last time Naruto Hugged him back "I will be a brave boy for you daddy" he said and let go and grinned his bright grin at him Minato smiled back "good" He stood up "I will be leaving Naruto in your Care then" he said to Iruka who nodded in response "should we go to the play area with the other kids? They all are waiting to meet you "he said softly and held out his hand to the 4-year-old who took his hand and nodded "okay!"
Minato Watched them as they walked into a different room and then went to leave himself
Live wasn't easy without Kushina, Raising a child alone would always be hard, and he would always miss her, But the future is looking bright and Minato can't help but smile 'She would be proud' he thought as he started walking into his office
