Chapter Text
Six layed coiled around Mono, resting from their rather eventful day of chucking rocks at a hoard of viewers. It was quite an entertaining show to watch them smack each other around for mistaking one of their kin of hitting them... Until the tv broke. They both, well Six booked it with Mono in tote. Having to feverishly scale up a building to lose those soul suckers.
Content with their missadventure she enjoyed the needed rest. Unfortunately, something or more accurately someone disrupted her sleep when they stirred against her. Ignoring his movements when he settled down she relaxed back into her warm spot.
Keeping her semi awake eyes shut, she dozed back to sleep.
…
What the heck is he doing now?
The little body shuffled about, leaving an annoying cold spot when he vacated to yawn and stretch. She could feel him now crawling over her, settling atop her shoulder as he let his feet dangle.
“Good morning sleepy head!”
Oh… Morning, right. Ugh.
Mono hopped down from his perch, making a light thump onto the cool wood. Placing his hands on his hips, he puffed up his chest when scrutinizing her unmoving form.
Scoffing, he pointed at her, “I know you're awake.”
Grumbling in response, she curled in tighter just to spite him.
Rolling his eyes he let his raised arm flop down, “Come on! What do you wanna do today!?” Giddy with excitement for the new day, he bounced on his heels.
Groaning, she went to grab at his jittery form. Hopping out of her grasp, he stomped his foot down before crossing his arms.
“I’m not tired anymore.”
Snorting, she rolled away from him.
Well I am.
Staring at the wall of yellow he huffed, “Why are you like this.”.
Somewhat deflated, he took his leave since Six clearly didn't want to do anything fun with him. He set off to entertain himself.
Suddenly a white fracture split before him.
Momentarily confused and then shocked, he slowly backed away when he recognised the familiar wisping white emitting from the crack in reality.
“Uuuh Six you may wanna look at this.”
Huffing in exasperation, she leisurely glanced over her shoulder to see whatever seemed to be bothering him. Her heart stopped.
Not again!
Reacting instantly she grabbed him, Scooting away from the white tear she brought her hand up and only found air.
Registering that her palm clearly was missing a Mono, she began panicking at the sight of her empty hand. Anxiously pacing around the growing rift, she hoped Mono was somewhere, anywhere in the room.
Coming up empty handed she despised the only conclusion she could come up with regarding his whereabouts. With that she leaped into the white void.
She was sucked in, accelerating exponentially, her body felt as if it fractured and was put back together at the same time. It was too fast.
Her insides felt weak. As soon as it happened it all just stopped.
She laid there panting in a wide eyed daze.
Well this surely is a wonderful way to start off the day.
Blinking as her thoughts came back together, she could smell grass? Skipping that fleeting thought she wondered if Mono even survived whatever this was?
Oh right Mono!
Frantically she pushed herself up, lurching a bit from her dizzy spell she shook her aching head. Searching under herself she was relieved to not find a Mono pancake.
Good... Wait, so where is he then?
She looked around the field, and only found trees?
Oh... oh no!
Where's Mono?!
