Chapter Text
In my whole life, I have never met someone in school my friendship with them lasted for a whole semester.
I actually never bothered to care about that but there was this one kid I'd run into when I'm on my way to school.
He used to live next door.
He's the quiet type, who used to study in another school. The funny part was that we used to walk in the same direction until we get to one of my favorite shops, comics shop.
The guy who worked there was a close friend of mine, his name was Felix, Felix Kuro. He was 5 years older than me.
The funny part about our friendship was him being bullied, even though he's older than me.
He'd always come to my house with injured face, when I ask him he'd tell me "They are the same" shrugging as if it's the daily routine.
I used to hate that part of his personality, why would you let kids your age or younger take the leash and pull you around as they want?
I kept asking him this question until 2 years ago, he decided to answer it with teary eyes and swollen face. "What do you want me to do Ryuu? I'm weak and you know that as well!"
I found my idol pathetic, the kid I wanted to be like was weak and unable to save himself.
Felix was bigger in size, his voice was heavy but under control, his personality was nothing compared to his look. He was sweet like sugar, nice to everyone.
"What should I do Ryuu?" He sat on my bed with his hands on head.
That day, he was really hopeless, I couldn't sit still while my hero was like... That.
As a guy in his 19, he had the chance to do what a kid in 14 (like me) couldn't.
So in the next day, after he asked me that question. I took him by hand to a gym my father's friend owned.
I asked one of the trainers to take care of him after telling him about Felix's condition, giving him a list of his health condition and whether he has an illness or might have.
I still remember his look back then, it was full of 'what the hell Ryuu?!' I laughed my ass off when we got back home and hear that question directly from him.
But at the end he managed it all and worked harder.
His muscles started to get obvious whenever he moves. All girls started to like him, and by all girls I mean all girls, those who saw him weak, made fun of him or even rejected him when he asked them out.
Good thing he let them down after what they've down or he wouldn't lived a peaceful year.
Actually, he never had interest in women, he was just afraid to ask boys out and find himself in a bed in the hospital. But after it all ended and he went to college, he'd go out every month with different guy.
He even went out with me to shut a dork from asking him to go out with him again.
In that month, he taught me a lot about gays life. It was surprisingly easy to handle and understand. More than straight relationships.
I, actually, never had interest in being involved in love affairs and such, but if I'd have the chance, I prefer it to be a guy.
Girls are troublesome, compared to the guys Felix would go with, they really are troublesome, or maybe Felix knows who to pick... Probably.
Now back to the track.
Back to the kid who lived next door.
His name is strange, Sushi? That was the first time I heard his name, his father was huge man, I guess he's 189cm(?) Dunno, he was big compared to dad.
He has brown hair and brown but with slight red eyes. He seemed weird but nice because of the atmosphere around him, for his mother... I had no idea about her but I managed to know she works in a hospital with her father.
But later I realized his name actually was Atsushi, it was his family who would call him that. Strangers are not allowed to call them that though.
I knew strangers were not allowed to in a pretty funny way. Shall we go back two months ago before school started when we were 14?
It was a normal warm day, even though I felt hot and wanted ice cream; so I went to the closest store to buy some for me and my family, that's when I saw him.
He looked so pretty wearing grey shirt with a white crop top. He had cute colorful head clips on his left bangs (probably his little sister put them?)
Never mind that, what mattered is how strong he looked. I looked at him since we were kids he seemed weak and needed someone strong by his side but it seemed I'm the weak one in front of him.
To be honest, he looked very strong because of the aura around him. Staring at his eyes were enough to make the beast bow on their knees.
It was amazing how a cute guy like him can be scary like that.
This is how I ended up crushed by those tiger eyes, when I accidentally called him Sushi.
He glared at me but I was lucky I was in front of sushi rolls section; so I turned to face him and point at the rolls asking him if he wants me to pick some for him, since he was looking my way.
The adorable boy did nothing but shook his head and walk away after stabbing me with soft smile. It was the first time I'd get such pain in my heart, it kept throbbing fast.
I bet it was loud because some people stared at me.
Damn it! I wanted to talk more to him, I wanted to get closer but-
But every side has a hidden one. A locked room no one's allowed to enter for their own safety.
His locked door was a surprise for me, I never expect that but here I am standing here in front of him.
While he's crying a lot... On his knees, I stood there shocked...
"What have I done?"
