By the time Dick learns of the news, the only thing left is a bloody crowbar.
"They found it in the abandoned amusement park," Bruce says.
Dick takes it in his hand, shaking.
"How much did he suffer? How much did-"
He can't bring himself to continue.
Dick remembers the time he spent with Jason. The time he helped the omega with his heat. It has just been one time, but one time was enough.
"He was pregnant, Bruce." Dick chokes. "He was carrying when he died."
Bruce doesn't speak.
Dick clutches the crowbar close to his chest and sobs.
