>Travis I<
I lay in bed, waiting for the voice that screams my last name. I smirk at the thought. It is always fun pranking people. But uptight, snobbish people? Perfect.
I check my watch, it reads 7:55. Five more minutes. I knock on the top of Connor's bunk and wait as his head slowly emerges to look at me, bed creaking.
His head is upside down. Idiot.
I look at my watch again, two more minutes. I silently hold a two-up with my fingers. He smirks and I mirror it. He silently gets out of bed to put his shoes on, though I already had.
The sun is halfway into view when calamity hits.
"STOLLS!" I know that voice. Katie Gardner. Like a rooster, she wakes everyone up. I look through the window, a crowd has already formed at cabin 4 to see a daily show.
As I and Connor emerge, we say words like, "'Scuse me" or "move, I wanna see what the reaction is today." Something along those lines.
We make it to the front. There she was... makeup like a clown. Last night, we paid another Demeter kid that was mad at Katie to do it while she slept. Then we set a horn to go off right under her bed, it was all formulated perfectly. Connor and I laughed, some campers following suit, and others standing uneasily.
"So, did we... honk your horn today... m'lady?" She glared at me, then right back at Connor.
"You two are insufferably childish!" Katie shrieks.
"So, we have archery in an hour, you gonna ride your unicycle?" Connor adds while laughing and we both wipe away tears of joy. "Can I get a ride?"
"I am done with you two idiots! If something like this happens one more time..." She trailed off.
"What are you gonna do, plant flowers in our beds?" I say while laughing.
Katie isn't a violent person, so all she did was walk away and said, "One day, I'm gonna get you back." With that, she stormed into her cabin. Leaving me and Connor laughing our butts off. I hear a few campers behind us silently laughing.
Good. We did our job.
