People say invisibility
Is a cool superpower
But what if you could never turn it off?
I would say that seeing through your son
Should get old within an hour
Yet you forever look at me with eyes filled with frost
I look out my window and see other families
You look at me like this is some house I’m haunting
I see other families laugh and smile daily

I look out my window as they sit with me
