Work Text:

"Nii-chan!! Eiji nii-chan!!" A five-year-old toddler squeals, toddling down the hallway to run into his brother's arms. The Bakusquad behind Kirishima all peak around the large third-year, seeing a small toddler run towards Kirishima, bright, glittering red eyes with fluffy black hair. The little toddler had all the right baby fat he needed, pudgy cheeks, tiny hands, and a shining smile with Kirishima's teeth. Kirishima leaned down, sweeping the small toddler off his feet, making the tot squeal with happiness, flailing happily in his big brother's arms.

Kirishima shoved his feet out of his shoes, walking into the house, motioning for the slightly shocked Bakusquad to follow the teen. The toddler in Kirishima's grasp played with Kirishima's long hair, babbling nonsense to his older brother, happy in the giant's arms.

Mina, Sero, Kaminari, and Katsuki all followed the burly teen like lost ducklings, watching the toddler gasp in awe at his big brother telling him all about his friends that were right behind him and U.A. The toddler turned slightly in his brother's grasp, looking at the Bakusquad. He smiled happily, freckled cheeks crinkling.

"Hi! I'm Izuku! You must be Eiji's bestest friends!!" Mina nearly died on the floor from Izuku's cuteness, and Izuku suddenly made hard eye contact with the pink-skinned girl. The little tot's eyes suddenly got a mischievous glint in them, and Katsuki suddenly liked the kid. "Oh! Your Mina! Eiji goes on and on about you! Like how he wants to cuddle you, kis-"

Eijiro suddenly shrieks, muffling his little brother with his hand, face as bright red as his hair. "Ha! Ha! Let's not talk about that, Izuku! HAHA!" Kirishima laughs awkwardly, shifting back and forth on his feet. Mina's face is a hot shade of Fuschia, and Katsuki really likes this kid.

Kaminari and Sero cackle off to the side, migrating to Kirishima's living room, sitting on his couch as they breathlessly hack and wheeze out a lung. Katsuki quietly stands off to the side, watching the chaos happen, seeing Mina try not to let out acid in her flustered state.

Kirishima carefully sets Izuku down, watching Izuku busy himself in the kitchen where his mother is, or his other mother is. Mina finally steels herself; the air is awkward as nobody breaks the silence...

"IZUKU! GIVE ME THE COOKIE!"

"NO!"

There's a rush of motion, and Izuku comes bursting out of the Kitchen, a large cookie stuffed in his mouth, halfway into finishing it as Kirishima's mom skids out of the kitchen, hot on the toddler's trail as he runs down the hallway.

The tension is broken as they all peer out of the living room, watching Izuku barrel past, backtrack, and shoot behind Katsuki, who perfectly hides the toddler who wolfs the cookie down, nearly unhinging his jaws to stuff the cookie down.

Katsuki has mad respect for this kid.

Izuku comes out from behind Katsuki, clear of any sign of the cookie he just wolfed down, no crumbs, chocolate smudges, or nothing. Kirishima's mother comes into the living room, making eye contact with the innocently smiling at her.

"Izuku, where's the cookie?" She demands, hands on her hips. Izuku tilts his head, looking at his hands before pointing at Denki. "I gave it to him; blame him," Izuku says with a completely straight face as Kirishima's mother visibly deflates, and Kaminari squawks. "But we just watched you-" Kaminari sputters as Izuku turns to him, staring the teen down with a meaner glare than Aizawa, smiling.

"Don't try so hard, Kaminari-kun; I know you fry your brain; you must not remember." And with that, Izuku skips out of the room, humming a happy toon as Kaminari and everyone else stares at the receding form of Kirishima's little brother. Katsuki cracks first, doubling down and breaking into heinous cackles, clutching his stomach and shaking from how much he was laughing.

Kirishima just sighs dejectedly as Sero wheezes and snickers as Kaminari really does contemplate if he did eat the cookie. Kirishima's mother grumbles, fixing the messy bun her curly black hair was in, huffing and walking away. "D-Dude- Your brother is awesome!" Mina laughs, slapping Kirishima on the back, who snorts.

"He's something alright."

---------------------

The Bakusquad has adopted Izuku into their life, the little five-year-old as the unofficial (or actual brother in Kirishima's case) of the squad. It was a blast with the kid, playing villains and heroes with the kid, watching over Izuku, and babysit him when Kirishima's parents were out of town. It was awesome.

What wasn't awesome was when Izuku came home, bruised and bloodied, but grinning slightly, making the blood slip out of his cut lip. Kirishima had nearly tripped over himself at the sight of his little brother, helping him up and cleaning him up. Kirishima wiped away dirt and grime, washing Izuku in a bath, taking care of his slipt lip, bruised knuckles, and a few scrapes on his knees.

"Izuku, what happened?" Kirishima asked after he had gotten his little brother cleaned. "A few bullies told me that I'd never be anything when I was older and told me I was weak...so I socked him straight in the face," Izuku told him, curling up under his brother's arms.

"They told me I was useless...They called me a Deku." Izuku basically growled out, Kirishima's eyes widening at the useless part. "I-I didn't like being called useless..." Izuku whined, tears welling in his eyes as they pooled down his cheeks.

Kirishima immediately pulled his brother close, letting the toddler cry into his shoulder, small hands gripping his shirt. Kirishima let a few tears slide out, rubbing his brother's back. Izuku sobbed into his shoulder, falling asleep from exhaustion. Kirishima shifted a bit, getting comfy on his bed, pulling the covers over both of them, falling asleep.

---------------------

Izuku's six when his brother graduates into becoming a full-fledged pro hero, fresh out of school, and already working under FatGum. He misses his brother, seeing the Bakusquad has taught a house together, all near their respective agencies.

He missed the large teen's hugs, feeling safe in his other brother's arm, consoling him when the bullying gets bad, and his big brother training him how to use his quirk properly. See, Izuku has a similar quirk to the red-head, but slightly different.

Between the cracks of his hardening, Izuku can heat it up and create lava, seeing his Mama's father had a fire-based quirk similar to lava, and his mom has a weak hardening quirk.

He had called his quirk Lava rocks, seeing his quirk consists of Lava and rocks. He had an excellent grasp on his quirk, and didn't spew lava when he was sad. (The floor had to be replaced a few times, along with a few pillows.)

He was happy, and his brother supported his urge to be a hero, and that's exactly what he wants to be! A hero like his big brother, helping people and fighting bad guys.

At age ten, he's got a finer grasp on his quirk, working out small details, now realizing he can throw lava, and he's very heat resistant!

(He found that out by withstanding laying in his lava after dumping a massive amount of the burning liquid in a government-issued tank, completely fire-proof. It was like a warm, soothing bath.
His moms didn't think so and nearly had a heart attack.)

Along with being ten, Kirishima finally manned up after a lot of threats from Izuku about exposing baby pictures of the hero on every platform Izuku knew about; he finally proposed to Mina, who screamed and said yes, nearly melting her husband-to-be in her happiness. It was a beautiful event, and they had all enjoyed the night, and Izuku still exposed Kirishima for a gift for his engagement.

(Kirishima was very embarrassed about his baby pictures circling the internet and whined to Izuku, who never classified that he wouldn't even if Kirishima did propose.

Safe to say, Kirishima wasn't very happy and was very pouty. It's odd seeing a 6-foot-4, three-hundred-pound, pure muscle, giant of a man pout.)

At twelve, the wedding commenced, and Mina Ashido was now Mina Kirishima! The ceremony was in a cherry blossom orchard, looking out on a beautiful lake. There were lots of tears that night, and Izuku grinned all the way through, clapping his big brother on the back and congratulating him.

At fourteen, he was quite muscular, weighing around a hundred and eighty pounds on a 5'9 body; Izuku was built for speed, strength, and endurance. Izuku's hair had also grown long enough to pull the unruly black curls into a messy bun, similar to his mother. Mina had also fallen pregnant with their first kid, so it was a good year.

Then it wasn't.

While out, a villain with a vendetta against Kirishima's family attacked Izuku and his mom while they were shopping. His mother was hardly injured, seeing Izuku activated his quirk in self-defense and laid the dude out with a few quirk jabs and hard punches, the man was sprawled out below Izuku, twitching and wheezing from he harsh knee to the chest, Izuku's glare dangerous and heavy, skin glowing with oozing heat, lava dripping onto the concrete.

If this dude was getting up, he'd feel what lava felt like on bare skin. Police were called, and the dude was taken to jail, and Izuku swift knockout was posted and strewn across all media platforms. It wasn't released that he was Kirishima's brother.

Still, with the hardening quirk on his arms that looked just like the Unbreakable hero, it was suspected, and later confirmed by the hero himself, with had a picture of him and Izuku working out at the gym, with the caption; "My little brother can lift more than me!! I feel betrayed!!"

Safe to say, even before Izuku had tried out for U.A., he had a pretty big following, adding to his already large following, seeing they found out the user @ minikirishima was Izuku, who had all the juicy, embarrassing stories on Red Riot, his new fans had already liked Izuku.
At fifteen, Izuku was starting his first year at U.A. in Aizawa's class, and in the first week, was already classified as a problem child by the man himself. He was already top of his class in the first semester, taught by Nezu himself, the two were most likely planning world domination, and Izuku was very happy.

Kirishima's little baby boy came into this world as well, so Izuku was now classified as an uncle to little Koji Kirishima, who had hot-pink hair like Mina's, heterochromatic red and yellow eyes, and a soft pale pinkish tint to his skin.

At sixteen, Izuku was feeling more anger than he had in years. His old bullies had found he was at U.A. and told him he was nothing more than a wannabe fake of his big brother. Yeah, Izuku socked them in the face. Aizawa nor Nezu gave him any repercussions, and expelled the bullies who were in GenEd. It was nice.

The sports festival rolled around, and Izuku (of course) came in first place, and then interned at the Bakusquad's agency with his older brother, who helped him hold unbreakable for more than a few seconds without wearing out. Soon after, little Koji's first words also were spoken, and no, they weren't mama, dada, or anything generic.

No, it was Izuku.

Izuku was little Koji's first words, and it was pretty funny watching the disappointment cross his brother and sister-in-law's face when Koji screamed out Izuku as his first word that went on with his day like he didn't just crush his parents.

Mama and Dada were Koji's fourteenth and fifteenth words. He would not stop saying different variants of Izuku's name, including; Zuzu, Zu, Izu, Izzy, Zuku, Kuku, Izuk, Iza (No idea where he got the A.) and other variants, along with Kiki, after Izuku had teasingly called Kirishima that, Gammy and Gama for Eijiro and Izuku's mother's, and then it was Mama and Dada.

Safe to say, they knew who Koji's favorite was.

Izuku had also acquired a provision heroes licensee and had interned with his brother when internships rolled around once again, and had also worked with Mina, who was off maternity leave, and helped Izuku with how to throw his lava properly, and not just blindly throw it. She had taught him quite a few tricks.

Seventeen, he was the last one standing in Aizawa's class; after the man had weeded out the students that were there only for fame, money, or exposure, and others who weren't supposed to be in the course, and either expelled or moved to something fitting their skill sets. Izuku and Nezu had been planning something big in that year, and everyone who was aware they were was betting on what it was.

Most bet on world domination; some voted on them taking over Japan and making it into their own utopia. Katsuki had bet on them overthrowing the commission, and he had been laughed at. The others couldn't see them going for something so small, and brainstormed bigger ideas that were all plausible, seeing Izuku and Nezu's skillsets.

Katsuki won the bet when all commission workers and everyone was overthrown, and Nezu became the new president. The commission was exposed for all the awful things they did, including buying and training Hawks, and hiding what heinous crimes Japan's beloved heroes committed. Safe to say, the entire hero commission was reworked, and many went to prison; others were let off with minor sentences and hefty fines.

At eighteen, Izuku had been working as a pseudo-pro hero for a while, going on patrols in both day and night with Aizawa and the other staff. The community quite liked Red Riot's little brother, with the hero name Magna. When he graduated, he interned with the Bakusquad's agency and soon became a beloved hero and took over his brother's place as the unbreakable hero when he retired.

Koji also wanted to be just like his uncle, the cool one.

(He'd never let neither of them live it down that he was Koji's first word.)

Ending B:

---------------------

Kirishima's thirty-six, married to Mina with a little toddler when his entire world is rocked.

Izuku wasn't training to be a hero, no...

He was a villain.

The teen with a quirk like his, although more advanced, was a villain. Sitting across from his brother, eighteen, dead-eyed, and glaring at him in an interrogation room. The Bakusqaud sit behind him, their eyes red-rimmed and looking tired after the three-week manhunt on Izuku after his identity was found out. Kirishima folds his hands, breathing heavily as he asks the question everyone wants to ask. "Why, Izuku?" Behind him, he can hear Mina whimper quietly. Izuku gives him a blank stare, holding his hands as well; the jingle of the quirk-canceling cuffs on him echoes in the room.

"Eijiro, you have to remember, this world isn't perfect. The first day I came back bloodied and bruised when I was five was a tipping point. I was categorized as a villain. Locked in bathrooms, classrooms, beaten to a pulp in the corner, was my life. Spider lilies, notes describing how I should kill myself, razors stuffed into my shoes, the works." Izuku spoke, looking into Kirishima's eyes, blinking only when necessary. Kaminari choked a sob back while Katsuki and Sero sat there dumbfounded, Mina pressing her face into Kirishima's back.

"It drove me INSANE!"

Izuku hissed, everyone in the room jumping from the sudden anger. "One day, I punched a guy so hard he fell on his ass and cried for mommy! HA! I felt so powerful, that I got revenge. But then they doubled down. I was fucking muzzled for the entire day, forced to sit there at my desk muzzled, like a dog. So when I got so fucking angry, I was walking down the roads around midnight and found my main bully. I trapped him in an alleyway, beat him to death, and left his body rotting there. From what I can tell, he was never found. Nobody suspected a fucking thing."

Izuku spoke with nonchalance in his voice as tears trailed down everyone's faces. Izuku sat back in his chair, no longer looking at his brother, staring at the ceiling. "Did you know I hung myself once? Abandoned building, noose, and all that shit. It didn't even fucking work. I blacked out and woke up a few minutes later choking. I guess I forced myself down, cut the rope, and screamed. I was a fuck-up! I couldn't even kill myself!" Izuku gritted his teeth, tears pooling down his face. Izuku looked at their horrified faces, sighing and sinking down into his chair.

"You gonna sit there and gawk at me or fucking what? Yell, hit, scream, do your worst. I've had worse." Izuku mumbled, twiddling with his fingers, emotionless. Kirishima stood, eyes shadowed as he walked across the table. Izuku looked up from the corner of his eye, closing his eyes, ready to be hit.

What he didn't expect was his brother to hug him, holding him close as he apologized. Izuku's eyes widened, eyes glowing with anger, and sadness as the boy finally broke, burying his face in Kirishima's shoulder and sobbing his hurt out, just like all those years ago.

Izuku's shoulders hunched and shook as he cried, the unbreakable hero staying strong for his baby brother, holding him close as everyone watched, not intruding on a special moment for the two.

Izuku was broken, but Kirishima was ready to fix him.

He's not called the Unbreakable Hero for nothing.
