“It can wait until tomorrow.”
Jun frowns. “Are you sure, Sho-san?”
Sho turns off his laptop. He stands up from his desk chair and walks over to Jun. He circles Jun’s waist from behind, sighing as he buries his nose in Jun’s hair.
“It’s not every night that you can stay over,” Sho says.
The last time they spent the night together was nearly a month ago. They’ve been so busy since then that they’ve only met once or twice a week. Jun’s promotion was a blessing, but it doesn’t leave him much free time. He’s lucky that Sho, being just as much of a workaholic as he is, doesn’t mind that they are almost functioning as a long-distance couple now despite being in the same city.
“I’m sorry,” Jun sighs. “I wish I could drop by more often.”
“I know you do,” Sho replies. He makes Jun turn around and pulls him closer. “It’s not your fault. You have a demanding job.”
Jun lets out a whine, leaning his head on Sho’s shoulder. He hates it when Sho makes it sound like it’s okay for him to neglect their relationship because of his career.
“I’ve been thinking,” Sho rubs Jun’s back softly, “what if we lived together?”
The hand on Jun’s back stills for a moment. Jun looks at Sho with wide eyes. “You’re for real?”
Sho shrugs. “We’ve been together for over two years. I think we’re ready.”
Jun nods excitedly, grabbing Sho’s face to pepper kisses all over it.
