"No, but really, you have a nice voice."
Despite his best efforts to the contrary, Hitoshi blushed. "You weren't supposed to hear that."
Denki reached for another blueberry muffin from the plate in the center of the table. With a grin and a shrug, he pulled off the lining and took an enormous bite, somehow managing to cram the entire muffin into his mouth at once.
"Amfg," he added through a mouthful of crumbs, "ish shupr ice da' y-"
Hitoshi tried not to wince. "Would you mind swallowing before you talk? I can't understand a single word you're saying."
"Ogh." Denki did as requested, licking his fingers for the last of the crumbs. "Man, these are great. I must've had, like, five."
"Well, you did help make them."
"I did, didn't I?" Denki beamed. "But hey, it was great seeing Eri in that little cat apron. Did Aizawa-sensei get her that? He totally did. Oh, that reminds me! I was saying how nice it is that you sing her to sleep every night. And did I mention you've got a great voice? You've got a great voice."
The blush deepened. "You said that already."
"What, I can't say it again?"
