Megumi knows what other people say about him.
He knows he’s considered to be pretty, to be attractive and nice to look at. He’s not typically associated with masculine traits– even his birth name is feminine. That’s all fine by him because frankly, he doesn’t really care about what others say. But when you bounce on the spot, all innocent and doe-eyed, and complain about how jealous you are of him because he’s so pretty, something inside him snaps.
All of a sudden, he hates it.
He doesn’t want to be pretty in your eyes. He wants you to find him desirable but he also wants you to realise you’re the prettiest thing whenever you walk into a room and that compared to you, he is nothing.
But what he hates most of all is when you feel insecure about his looks. When you’re walking with him down the supermarket aisle and you fall back a few steps because of the way some girls pause to openly flirt with him. He hates it when you don’t realise how beautiful you are, with your full, perfect lips, and expressive eyes.
“Megumi,” you sigh into the kiss, and he angles your head to deepen it further, his fingers sinking into your hair. “Megumi, is this okay? Am I okay?”
Yes. God, yes.
His response is unspoken because there are no words he has to convey how perfect you are. Instead, he falls back onto his bed and brings you down with him, his lips brushing against your ears as he showers kisses on every inch of your face that he has access to.
And every time you whisper his name, he vows to become worthy enough for you.
