-For simplicity reasons, we’re all just going to imagine the incredibly complicated backstory that it would take for Draco to be dating not only a Ravenclaw, but a half-blood at that (so that you actually have reasons why you’d know muggle inventions) openly
-I mean we’ve all probably read tons of stories exploring that already (and will do so continuously since it is a good prompt imo) so I doubt it’ll be necessary for these headcanons
-Now fo the setting: Let’s say that it’s during summer break and that Draco somehow convinces his father to let him visit you for a few weeks in your muggle house (this is probably less realistic than the whole magic aspect of it all)
-It already starts when you and one of your parents pick him up from the train station…with a car
-I mean I refuse to believe that this boy has not yet seen a car, even with his elitism asshole parents, so that in itself isn’t too big of a shock, but actually driving in one?
-Be ready to do CPR because Draco looks like he’ll have a Heart attack
-He never missed his nimbus that much before ✊😔
-Surely it can’t get worse than driving in that metal cage of your parents that sounds like it’ll blow up every second, right?
-It can and it will
-It starts rather simple with the tv that’s on in the living room and let’s assume y’all got some money and have one of these slim flatscreens (I know the time line doesn’t fit but who gives a duck 🦆)
-At first he’s all like “ahh something familiar, good wizard paintings” but then your dad (I’ll just decide that it was your mom who picked him up 👌) turns It off to greet him and shussss that was unexpected
-He’s used to the people in the paintings leaving, but the whole painting disappearing?
-That is definitly new
-You will have to explain so so so much to him
-It’s not even just big things like fridges, TVs, remote controls or muggle sports
-it’s also little things
-he’s so confused by things you find completely natural like your house phone or your brand new motorola/nokia smartphone (the 90s amiright?)
-or Thermos bottles
-Microwave? Dark magic
-colourchanging pen? demon’s work
-You get the picture
-You could probably open the shit up and explain him how every single part works together using physics/chemie/other science things and he still won’t believe you
-If you get really frustrated just tell him that muggle-science is just low-key alchemie or something and he might trust the stuff a bit more
-because alchemie means magic and he trusts magic
-All in all this is going to be a wild ride for Draco, but who knows, maybe in a year or ten he’ll get used to it
