Two years, eight months and two weeks.
That's the exact count of the years Johnny and Taeil spent together as a couple, plus now as they celebrate another monthsary same date for Johnny officially launching his first clothing brand named slo/w acid. Modeled by his beloved friends who's in showbiz business read: Jaehyun and his boyfriend Doyoung.
The store is somehow expectedly to be crowded because of the powerhouse couple ambassadors but not this over crowded. Baekhyun—Johnny's Business partner laughed and playfully slapped his arms.
"Nagtatanong ka pa? Hindi mo ba naririnig? they are actually looking for you"
Johnny just shrugs his hyung's teases, but then it was followed by Chanyeol Park, B's fiance.
"Totoo, your teasers were half of the reasons why these people are here for your shirt" the older one said, snaking his arms to his fiance's waist.
Truth to what the couple said, people who diligently queued as early as seven am to witness his ribbon cutting are mostly the people who fell in love with Johnny's teasers. When this man just wore his plain white shirt and plain black pants.
"Johnny hyung!!" A high pitched voice yelled from his back, Johnny immediately sighs with the familiarity of that voice. He slowly swallows the lump on his throat giving the older couple a smile before turning around.
"Haechanie~" he smiles and takes the younger's hand for a shake hands instead of it's usual hug greeting.
The younger one noticed it and rolled his eyes. "I'm offering a congratulatory hug, come on!" he talks in pout.
"And i am thanking it by a thank you handshake" he smiled and gave the brunette haired boy a sweet wink.
"Sus, just say you are not over with me yet and go" Haechan says in a confident tone that made Johnny moved. Haechan is his ex-fubu. He didn't know when it happened but it happened. Read: it happened when Taeil asked for a two months break because as per him they both needed to outgrow themselves and think of what they really wanted to do in future. Which worked.
"I'm kidding," he immediately added.
"Thank God you are," Johnny said and smiled.
"Anyway, feel free to roam around. The store is pretty big and we have plenty of designs you can choose what you feel you like—" Johnny was cutted when Haechan took his arms and snakes his own arms around his.
"Masyado ka naman kabado, come with me and tour me around. Mr. CEO" he calmly said, which lead Johnny to gently pulling his arms and gave him an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry bu—"
"Please? John—"
"Johnny!" Another voice was heard from the back, that made the younger flinch. Johnny sighs in relief as he sees his boyfriend calmly walking in their direction with a smile on his face.
"Hello ba—" Johnny was again cutted when Haechan spoke after Taeil reached their spot.
"Hyung, who is he? Your business partner? Or sunbaenim?" A genuine question from the younger, where he's confidently standing behind Johnny while waiting for his answer.
Johnny moves to where Taeil is standing, so they are aligned. Taeil gave him a sweet smile and looked directly at Johnny's eyes. And with that, Johnny snakes his arms around the older's tiny waist, taeil on the other hand does the same and turns his eyes to Haechan who seems to be irritated at what he's seeing.
"Haechan, meet Taeil. My fiance." Johnny introduces that surely made Haechan's eyes wide open.
"Baby, meet Haechan. A friend and a customer"
Taeil was about to stretch his other arm for a handshake when Haechan immediately dismissed it by waving his hands and an awkward smile.
"Ah no, no need. I'm in a rush actually. Dumaan lang talaga ako to buy my cousin's shirt" he said immediately, walking away and waving them a good bye.
After that scenario, both share a laugh without pulling their arms, staying in that comfortable form while looking at everyone who's busy minding their business and taking their desired shirts.
Taeil again looked at him in full admiration and without Johnny noticing it, The older sneaked a kiss on his neck—since ayun lang yung abot niya.
Johnny smiles and holds the older's waist tighter, making them squish into inches a part. Taeil moved away his face and faked his pout.
"No kiss, i'm still mad that you had that brat when i just asked for a two month—" Taeil was about to sulk more when he felt Johnny's affectionate gaze.
"Alam mo nakakatamad ka, Kaunting petty fight lang oh tas kaunting suyo. Minsan napapaisip nalang talaga ako kung sino ba talaga ang mas matanda satin e" Taeil blurted out and rolled his eyes, leaning his head onto Johnny's shoulder.
Johnny smiles and kisses his forehead.
"Ayokong nag aaway tayo, kung kailangan mag sorry ako sayo every time na nararamdaman mo yung sakit ng pagkakamali ko gagawin ko"
Taeil smiles and turns his eyes to the man he's willing to risk it all.
"Mahal, you know ako si Patty ng Starting over again diba? Uulitin ko ha. My love for you is always bigger than your mistakes" the older man said and put a kiss on his shoulder.
"And i'm forever grateful to be your marco and to be part of your life" Johnny says in air, looking from afar to avoid his tears from coming down.
Being in a relationship takes courage.
courage to love unconditionally.
courage to forgive.
courage to give chances.
And courage to choose that person over and over again no matter what the circumstances are.
