Hiyori always wondered what it felt like to be with the person he loves for the rest of his life. The idol saw how perfect his parents were for each other, and he hoped one day he would also have the happiness of finding a partner that would be by his side no matter what, fortunately for him the person that was closer than what he could ever imagine.
The green head looked at the mirror in front of him and smiled at sight. Here he was dressed in the most beautiful outfit he could find for his special date.
Last night Nagisa had asked him out and both were going to spend the day together, no matter how many times they went on a date, it always felt like it was the first time and Hiyori always found himself nervous. But he wasn't the only one, the green head knew his partner felt the same.
Sometimes Hiyori asked what he did to deserve an awesome person like Nagisa in his life, he always supported him no matter what, even when they were younger and Hiyori confessed he didn't feel comfortable with his body. Nagisa had helped him the best he could and did everything to make Hiyori feel comfortable, the idol couldn't ask for a better partner.
Hiyori chuckled thinking about the every day of his life with Nagisa, he never got tired of spending time with the unit leader, all the sad and happy moments were precious to him and he would never replace them. When Hiyori was a kid he never thought he would ever fall for someone this badly, much less for the young boy who arrived at his home looking lost and confused.
The idol had been the one who taught everything to Nagisa, but suddenly the tables turned and it was Nagisa teaching him what idols do. The way Nagisa’s eyes sparkle every time he talks about idols and how angelic yet powerful his voice is was enough to make the green head fall in love with him. To many Nagisa was someone difficult to understand and on stage he was like a God, but Hiyori never saw him that way, for him Nagisa was just a sweet boy looking for a way to understand the world and help Hiyori spread smiles.
How people could dislike someone like Hiyori was beyond his comprehension, but that's how the world worked, it was Hiyori's job to protect Nagisa. The worry of one day not being able to understand Nagisa was always present, especially with how chaotic things had been since the Gatekeeper appeared, he was afraid Nagisa could be hiding something or trying to do things by himself.
It was very obvious Nagisa loves Eden just as much as Hiyori, that's why Hiyori knew how dangerous this could be. Both wanted to protect each other, even if they had to sacrifice themselves to do so.
"Bad Hiyori! Thinking about such things will only bring terrible weather."
That's right, right now he should focus on his date, if things did go out of hand it is duty to bring Nagisa back. But that would be in the future, he would deal with it once the time arrived, it was no use to be so anxious for something that hadn't happened yet and let it ruin his fantastic day.
"...Hiyori-kun."
Hiyori looked at the door and saw his beloved Nagisa. The smile on the white haired idol was something Hiyori never grew tired of seeing, he would do everything he could to keep that smile.
"Nagisa-kun!" Hiyori walked towards Nagisa wrapped his arms around him. "Shall we go on our date? I found a place that sells the best sweets, I'm sure you will like it!"
Nagisa nodded and gave Hiyori a kiss on the cheek.
The green idol smiled, he couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with Nagisa.
