Chapter Text
When Izuku Midoriya found out that he was quirkless he felt all his dreams shatter. He would never get to be a hero like his dad and so he just cried. He cried for hours not even remembering leaving the doctor’s office, he just remembers the feeling of helplessness as he desperately wonders how he’s going to be a hero now.
At some point, he hears the familiar call of, “ I am here” and looks up to see his dad towering above him and the tears just stream down his face uncontrollably,
“Dad, can I be a hero even if I don’t have a quirk?”
Toshinori just stares down at his son and then crouches next to him and gives him a big hug, “ Without a quirk, it would be almost impossible but what if I told you there’s a way to pass down my quirk to you”
Izuku just stared up confused and his father smiled at him, “son it's time I tell you the story about two brothers and their quirks one for all and all for one-“

Midoriya could never tell anyone that his Dad was All Might for fear of what both the media and villains would do with that information.
“COME BACK HERE YOU USELESS DEKU!!!!” Izuku could hear the explosion already popping off behind him as he ran home that day. Izuku had informed anyone who asked that his family had a history of developing quirks late but most took that as a sad delusion of a kid who just didn’t want to accept his life.
Combine his apparent lack of a father, quirklessness, and weird hero mumbling he was constantly bullied. Izuku didn’t want to worry his parents so whenever asked he would just shrug all concerns off
“Is that a burn mark!?!?!”
“Don’t worry mom me and Kacchan were just roughhousing you know how he can be”
She would always look sad and Izuku suspected she might have suspicions that things weren’t that simple but he couldn’t bear to tell her the truth. She knew just as well as him that they lived in a quirkist society where those with quirks that are deemed useless or villainous are ostracized and those unlucky few who are quirkless find it almost impossible to live due to discrimination.
His dad however was completely oblivious to a lot of the bad parts of the world for being a number one hero. If Izuku told a story about what he and kacchan got into that day Toshinori would just nod and smile,
“I’m glad you had such a fun day with your friend, my boy. It’s important to have these friendships.”
But for the most part, Izuku couldn’t complain about his life. He may be quirkless now but he knew he wouldn’t be forever. He may not have a lot of friends but both his parents loved him and gladly supported his dreams.
Now that Izuku was in his last year of middle school his dad had finally decided it was time to pass down his quirk. They had been training his body for years so that he would be ready for it. Even though he was super excited to be receiving a quirk he was also worried about his dad ever since his big fight with all for one he had been getting weaker but with passing on his quirk it wouldn’t be too long before he had to stop hero work altogether.
When Izuku expressed his worries all might just laughed them off, “no need to worry my boy because I am here even when I can no longer be a hero, now eat this lock of my hair”
“WHAT?!?!?”
“Yes, to inherit my power you must ingest something with my DNA, surely I have mentioned this already.”
Izuku’s dad waved the golden hair in his face until he snatched it away and ate it.
“I don’t feel any different”
“Well why don’t we go down to the beach and try it out”
They went down to the beach and Toshinori set down a cinder block and encouraged Izuku to use his new ability to destroy it.
Izuku felt a little silly but he ran towards it yelling, “DETROIT SMASH” the cinderblock crumbled into much smaller pieces. Izuku rubbed his arm in discomfort and it felt incredibly sore like he had just run a marathon with his arm.
His dad just looked over at him, “it might be a little uncomfortable at first but if we hadn’t been training your body as long as we have you most likely would have broken a bone or two”
After that every day after school they would meet at the beach and find different ways to practice his quirk

A couple of weeks had passed since Izuku received his fathers quirk and he still hadn’t used it at school. There was a combination of reasons for this one being that it might irritate kacchan even more causing him to constantly have to fight the explosive blonde two the quirk was so similar to all might and he wasn’t sure it was ready for the world to know yet and three he still wasn’t entirely used to or comfortable with the quirk yet.
For this reason, school was almost over and he was still being treated like a useless Deku so when Bakugo told him to kill himself he wasn’t too surprised. He doesn’t want to deal with his old friend so he takes a different route home that day but stops when he hears people frantically yelling.
Izuku runs towards the sound of the commotion only to discover a villain attack some sort of sludge monster who was holding someone captive. He waited to see if anyone was going to do something but all the other civilians and heroes were just watching so before Izuku had time to think he was running at the monster and with one punch the monster was gone.
“ WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT YOU SHITTY DEKU!?!?!?!?!” He ducked away from the explosive teen as the hero Kamui woods tried to calm him.
Izuku quickly rushed off not wanting to have to talk to reporters or anything about what had just happened.

Endeavor had stood outside All Might’s agency for hours waiting on the popular hero to appear and was slowly getting more frustrated with the giant show-off. Did he never stop posturing long enough to check in at his agency? Just as the flame hero was getting ready to barge his way in and demand to know where all might is he sees all might walking up the street towards the agency
All might frowns at him, “Todoroki what are you here for”
“I saw your son on the news, quite interesting how I’ve never heard of him before”
All Might’s face paled confirming what endeavor already believed, “ I don’t know what you think you saw but I don’t have a son”
Endeavor could feel his flames growing hotter, “What do you take me for some kind of imbecile I know what I saw! That boy had your power!!!”
All might look around before putting a hand on the flame hero’s shoulder “ you’re making a bit of a scene it might be better if we continued this conversation inside”
Endeavor reluctantly followed all might inside as he led them into his office and waited before the door was shut before continuing.
“I know that was your child out there”
“You know nothing because I don’t have a son”
Uggghg all might could be so infuriating, “I’m not an idiot if he wasn’t yours then why did we need to move this conversation inside”
“Whether or not he is my son if the rumor got out that he was he would be targeted by my enemies”
“So you’ll admit he’s yours”
“Nope because I don’t have a-“
All might was interrupted by izuku barging into the room his head stuck in one of his hero analysis journals, “Dad did you forget we were supposed to meet at the beach for training”
A smug smirk broke out on endeavor's face, “ ah-hah he is your child”
“-um dad what’s going on”
All might looked between his son and endeavor and gave up, “well the sludge villain incident was on the news and someone connected the dots” he turned his attention back onto endeavor, “ although I’m unsure as to why he cares so much”
The other hero just smirked, “simple because I think our sons should get married”
“WHAT!?!?” Izuku yelled in shock dropping the books in his hand
All might glared at endeavor “what kind of sick joke is this, they’re 14 and even if they were older why would I ever agree to such a preposterous idea”
“I didn’t mean they’d get married right away obviously we would wait to have the wedding after they graduate and start to make a name for themselves. You should agree because you should be thinking about what a great partnership the two would make with the strong quirks they have. That and the fact that if you don’t allow this to happen I'll tell everyone a secret about you that I know.”
Both Might and Izuku stared at him in shock, “Oh come on, I may not know why you can only work a few hours a day but I’ve been paying attention. Something tells me that for whatever reason you are physically incapable of doing hero work longer than that and I know a lot of villains would love to take advantage of that little tidbit of information.”
“I'll do it “ Izuku yelled before all might could stop him
“No, you don’t have to do this ill be fine”
Izuku gave him a dirty look, “ no you won't be fine, you would be dead within weeks and japan would be overrun with villains taking advantage of the loss of the symbol of peace I have to do this.”
“No you don’t and I won’t let you”
“By the time we actually get married ill be an adult and you won't be able to stop me”
“My boy, just reconsider this for me “
“I am doing this for you” Izuku turned to Endeavour “I will marry your son”

Shoto, Fuyumi and Natsuo were all sitting at a table together waiting for their father to show up.
Shoto was worried, his father never let him interact with his sibling claiming they would be a distraction but out of the blue, he told them all that he wanted to have a family dinner so like the dutiful family they prepared dinner and waited for him. Shoto knew something was up, his dad didn’t just want to spend time with his family no matter what he claimed.
Endeavor walked in with a smug grin on his face and Shoto winced. He recognized that grin that was the grin he had right before all of the most brutal training sessions.
The first half of the meal passed in expectant silence until finally endeavor cleared his throat, “so I have some big news, Shoto I’ve picked your future Fiancé”
Shoto froze he had to of heard wrong, “no I won't have a quirk marriage”
Fuyumi and Natsuo were backing away expecting a fight to get out of hand
But Endeavour just sighed, “it's not a quirk marriage, it's not even a girl since I do respect your preference to an extent”
Shoto just stared well that was unexpected when he had told his father he was gay it was mostly just to try to irritate the man even if it was true.
“But then why would I get married?”
“You are my masterpiece and you need to keep your enemies close”
Now Shoto was really confused, “what does that mean?”
“It means do what you’re told boy and I might think about moving your mother back home after the wedding to help your new husband “
Shoto was frustrated of course he would use mom as an incentive, behave and she might come home whatever it's not like he could’ve said no not with his sibling also being under his dad's thumb.
The flame hero was done with his food so he got up to leave but Shoto had one last question, “can I at least know his name?”
“Izuku Midoriya, he’ll probably be in your class at U.A”
