“So what do you think, Hot Dog?” Willie asks, stopping in front of Alex on his board.
”It was cool,” Alex says, smiling at the skater.
”I’d show you another trick, but it’s getting late,” Willie says, picking up his board.
”Uh,” Alex says, rubbing the back of his neck. He looks down. “Never mind.”
”What is it?” Willie asks, tapping Alex’s bicep.
”We’re doing a movie night tonight,” Alex says, looking up. Willie smiles at him. “Uh, you know, me and my bandmates. I was wondering if- you know- you wanted to join?”
”Of course, Hot Dog,” Willie smiles. He grabs Alex’s hand with his free one. “We should probably get going.”
The boys poof into the studio. Julie, Luke and Reggie were squished on the couch. Willie saw that the arm chair looked big enough that Alex and him could sit on it together. One of them would basically have to be on the other's lap, but Willie wasn't going to complain.
"Hey, guys," Julie says. "What should we watch?"
"Can we watch an older movie?" Alex asks. "I kind of want to see something familiar."
"We can," Julie says, searching through Netflix.
"You guys can sit," Luke jokes. Alex throws a pillow at him.
"Come on, Hot Dog," Willie smiles at him. He drags him over to the chair, sitting down. Alex sits down the best he can without sitting on Willie, but he's partially on Willie's lap. Willie shakes his head at the tense blonde. Willie rubs Alex's back with one hand, trying to get him to relax. Alex looks at Willie, who just smiles. Alex let's himself relax enough for Willie to pull him into his chest. Alex sighs, snuggling his head into the crook of Willie's neck.
"Ooh! Karate Kid!" Reggie says. "Please!"
"I really wanted to be Daniel when I was a kid," Luke smiles.
"Have I told you about Cobra Kai?" Julie asks.
"The bad guys from the movie?" Reggie asks.
"They made a show," Julie says, starting to explain the show to them.
Willie's not paying attention. He's focused on how relaxed Alex seems. Willie moves his fingers up and down Alex's upper arm. Alex moves his arms to wrap around Willie's waist, trying to get closer. Willie lands a kiss on top on Alex's head.
"Hey, love birds," Luke calls out, getting their attention. "So, what do you think? Karate Kid Marathon so we can start the show next movie night?"
"Sure," Alex says. Willie nods in agreement. He could care less. He just wants Alex to stay in his arms forever.
He ends up running his fingers through Alex's hair, lightly scratching at his scalp. Alex sighs, nuzzling his face closer to Willie's neck. Willie notices that Daniel and Johnny are in a fight, but he's just focusing on the warm feeling in his heart. Before they start the third movie, Julie decides that she's going to bed.
"Reggie and I can take the loft," Luke says, as Reggie starts to pull out the pull out bed. "Alex kind of sleeps like the dead so it'll be easier to move him to the bed down here anyways."
"He's asleep?" Willie asks. He can't really turn his head to look. Luke just nods.
Luke and Reggie basically have to pry Alex off of Willie and get him onto the pullout. They go towards the loft and Willie lays a blanket over Alex. Willie's about to leave when Alex's hand wraps around his wrist.
"Stay."
Willie feels his heart soar with the one word. He climbs under the blanket, letting the blonde latch onto him. Willie laughs lightly, wrapping his arms around Alex. Alex sighs contently when his head finds it's spot on Willie's chest.
"I love you," Alex says, sleepily. Willie smiles again. He's been doing a lot of that today. He kisses the top of Alex's head.
"I love you, too."
