Luna's eyes fluttered open to the feel of someone pressing kisses to her neck. A happy sigh escaped her lips before she rolled over and tried to see which one of her lovers was waking her up. When she saw the long, dark hair, she knew that it was Loki.
When he saw that her eyes were open, Loki wasted no time in pulling her towards him. He pressed his lips against hers, kissing her teasingly. His hands roamed her body, caressing her bare skin causing her to tremble. "Loki," she groaned.
Loki nipped at her lower lip, kissing her slowly before eventually pulling away. “Good morning, love,” he said, his voice low and husky.
“Good morning,” she murmured sleepily, smiling at him. “How did you sleep?” she asked, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
“Fine,” Loki replied, his hands still roaming her body teasingly as he returned her smile. He gave her sides a light pinch, causing her to squeak in surprise. "And you, my love?"
"Peacefully through the night," she told him, unable to keep the smile off her face.
"Good," Thor grumbled from her other side. He pulled her against his chest, ignoring Loki's snarky protest. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head before burying his face in her hair, inhaling deeply.
Turning over, Luna gave Thor a soft kiss. "Love you," she murmured against his lips.
"Love you," he replied. He pulled back to look in her eyes. "What's got you in a good mood this morning? You seem extra thoughtful. "
"More than usual, you mean?" She laughed. "I was thinking about the day we met," she murmured, smiling as she recalled that fateful day. She had been working in her lab on a modified Amortentia potion when it exploded, knocking her out. When she came to, she was in Thor's arms and he explained that she had appeared out of nowhere into the middle of the courtyard.
She hadn't been sure how her potion had sent her to Asgard, but as she was trying to enchant the brew with ancient soulmate magic, her best guess was that the potion had somehow brought her to her soulmates. It was an unexpected twist for certain.
Luna had originally been shocked to learn she actually had two soulmates, but now that she knew Thor and Loki, she couldn't imagine her life without them. They were as much a part of her as she was of them.
It's why she decided to stay on Asgard and become bonded to them both.
Thankfully, she wasn't stranded there as Thor was able to use the bi-Frost frequently to bring her home. They often visited her father, who loved to hear about all her adventures in the different realms.
"I'm so glad you dropped into our lives," Thor said with a grin, interrupting her reminiscing.
"Quite literally, too," Loki quipped with a grin. "The court was buzzing with your arrival. Most interesting thing to happen in some time.
"I'm glad, too," she murmured happily. "Almost like we're meant to be."
"We are meant to be," Thor assured her.
"I love the sound of that," Luna hummed. She rolled over in the bed, snuggling back up to Loki. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.
"So, what should we do on this beautiful, summer day?" Thor asked, going to look out the window. He stretched in front of it languidly, Luna enjoying the view. "The sun is shining and it doesn't look like it'll be too warm."
"We could go down to the beach?" Loki suggested, looking at Luna. "Or we can pay a visit to your friends on Midgard, if you like."
"You know, I actually have something I need to tell you both," Luna said quietly.
"Oh, a summer confession, let's hear," Loki teased. When Luna didn't respond, Loki sighed. "Come on, what is it?" Loki asked, his lips skimming her bare shoulders as he teasingly kissed her.
"I… I've been nervous to tell you both, as it didn't even cross my mind since I was using spells to prevent it, but I didn't even consider that-"
"Luna," Thor said, gently cutting her off. "What is it, sweetness?"
"I'm pregnant," she shared quietly, twisting her hands nervously as she put the truth out there and waited for their response.
Loki stilled. "Are you really?" He asked quietly, gazing into her eyes.
"Yes," Luna said. "About two months along, really."
"I wasn't sure you'd even be able to conceive…" Thor trailed off. "Half-Midgardian, Half-Asgardian? Half-Frost Giant?" He mused aloud.
"I think it might have been an after-effect of the potion. It was a strong one involving soul-bond magic… maybe it ensured my fertility? Or that we would conceive?" She looked at them both nervously.
"This is joyous news!" Thor exclaimed, scooping her into his arms as he spun her around in excitement.
"Careful, you nimwit!" Loki protested, nearly snatching Luna right from his arms. He pressed a kiss to her lips, pouring all of his love into it.
"Is this okay?" Luna asked him nervously.
"Okay? Luna, our relationship may have had an unconventional start, but this was meant to be. You here… Us… This child." He kissed her once more. "Thor and I are overjoyed."
Thor nodded in agreement. "You gave us something that we never thought we'd have again," he said softly.
"You united our family into a stronger, unified front," Loki added. "You're the glue we needed to hold us together.
Luna looked between them both, her heart warming with each passing second. She loved them both, and the two of them loved her back just as much. Every morning, she thanked the gods that fate had caused her enchanted brew to explode, sending her through time and space to her two soul-bonded gods.
"I love you both," she whispered happily, knowing that they had a bright and beautiful future ahead of them. It was written in their stars, destined to be.
