Chapter Text

This is the story of how Katsuki Bakugou died.

Okay, he doesn’t really die. This story actually has a happy ending, and even a bit of romance to it (He doesn’t want to admit that). But he isn’t the main character of this story, our main character is Izuku Midoriya.

This all begins with an ancient power named One For All. Many years ago, there was someone who was named All For One, who created One For All. He created this power for evil, and it caused chaos worldwide. The power eventually ended up in the hands of the right people, who discovered this power could be transferred from one person to the other.

It took years to defeat All For One, person after person attempting to defeat the evil and restore peace in the world. Eventually, he was defeated, and One For All disappeared, turning into something more of a legend.

Many believe it’s still out there, rumors going around that the power turned into a flower of sorts. Many are out to find this power, wanting it for themselves for eternal life. But no one has ever confirmed its existence.

As time goes by, groups of people turn into towns, towns grow into villages, and villages eventually turn into one big kingdom. A King and Queen rule over the kingdom, and soon there will be a prince to rule alongside them.

Unfortunately, the Queen falls extremely ill.

The Queen is close to death, and people become desperate. Everyone in the kingdom begins to look for some sort of miracle. Said miracle is the flower that holds One For All.

There eventually was someone who found the flower, but this person was selfish. His name was Tomura Shigaraki. When he found it, he didn’t know how to activate its power. He looked around and noticed the flower was near a body of green, glowing water. So he drank out of it.

His body began to change, wrinkles disappeared from his face, his hair returned to its original color, and his skin became smooth once again. He hears people from the kingdom approaching, so he quickly attempts to hide the flower.

But as he runs away to hide, he accidentally reveals the flower to the open once more. The people of the kingdom find the flower, and take it. They noticed how the water nearby glowed green, so they mixed the flower in clean water for the Queen.

The Queen was healed, and soon a healthy baby boy was born. He had beautiful green hair, and matching eyes. Freckles plastered around his face, his eyes wide and curious. In celebration, the KIng and Queen lit up hundreds of lanterns and let them float into the night sky.

The moment was perfect, bright smiles on everyone’s faces. Of course, perfect moments are never permanent.

Shigaraki broke into the castle, into Izuku’s room. He quietly walked up to Izuku’s crib, and peered down at the baby. Shigaraki reached down into his crib, but Izuku awoke, and silent tears began to fall down his face.

More and more tears fell from the baby’s eyes as Shigaraki’s finger reached out to touch his small cheek. His tears glowed green, just as the water in the river did. Shigaraki let tears fall onto his finger, and his finger began to change.

The more tears that touched his skin, the younger he began to look. The longer Shigaraki left his finger on Izuku’s face, his cries grew louder. In a panic, Shigaraki took the child and ran off, the last thing he saw was the grieving look on the King and Queen’s face.

Shigaraki had hid Izuku deep into the forest, in a high tower, where no one could enter. Everyone in the kingdom searched for Izuku, but no one had any luck.

---

Sniffles echoed throughout the tower, “Papa, why can’t I go outside?” Izuku asked, silent, glowing tears falling down his face. Shigaraki bent down to wipe away his tears, not letting Izuku notice how his appearance began to change.

“Oh Izuku, it's too dangerous outside. There are evil, selfish people out there. You must stay inside, where you will be safe.” Shigaraki spoke with a soft smile. Shigaraki pulled in the young Izuku for a hug, his soft smile turning into an evil one when he felt tears wetting his neck.

“I don’t know what I would do if I lost you.” The older man spoke, but mostly to the child’s tears,

---

Even though the tower was far away, hiding itself from the kingdom, it couldn’t hide the night sky. Every year, on Izuku’s birthday the King and Queen sent out lanterns into the sky, hoping Izuku would see them and find his way back home.

Notes:

Fun story, I made a Disney+ account to watch the movie but apparently there was no free trial. I lost 16 dollars and I am currently grieving.
