Finding Out The Truth Of Who She Is
Ch1

This story is a swanqueen story. This story is a month after the curse broke. Emma and Regina are fin a relationship, and ruby is their best friend. Emma has D.I.D because of all the sexual, physical, emotional and mental abuse she suffered in foster care before she was 7 years old, she also self-harms and will fall back into her eating disorder at one point. Snow wants her daughter to be her princess and the savior, David wants her to be just the way she is, he doesn’t care as long as she is happy. It has been a month since the curse has broken. Even though Emma thinks Snow and David are her parent’s she just feels like Snow doesn’t want to get to know her. Even as snow’s friend before the curse she thought that Emma was acting weird

It has been a month since the curse was broken. True love’s kiss broken the curse like it was supposed to, but the kiss was between Emma and Regina. Regina and Emma had been friend even before the curse was broken. Granny would always look out for Emma and Ruby was like a sister to her. Granny, ruby and Regina all had their memories still. Regina really liked Granny and Ruby and new even though they were on snows side they wouldn’t be mad at her and it was true.

When Emma came to town brought by Henry at first Regina thought she was coming to take Henry away, but Emma assured her she wasn’t but after a couple days decided to stay because this felt like a place she was accepted. After a week of being there Regina and Ruby could sense something was different about Emma and how sometimes she would talk and act like a toddler, or teen, was non-verbal at times. After about another week they both realized it was D.I.D. The reason they know this is because they have both been taking psych classes online.

After about a month of this and watching Snow around Emma who she claims is her friend but then would tell her to stop acting weird. That her name was Emma not all these other names. Ruby and Regina decided to ask Emma about it. After about fifteen minutes Emma did admit she had D.I.D but she was just diagnosed at the age of 26. She told them she understood if they didn’t want to be here friend because she was weird and psycho. They both just hugged her and said she wasn’t any of that and they were still her friend.

Three months after Emma came to Storybrook her and Regina realized they need to stop dancing around their feelings and to go for it. So, they were at Regina’s house having a movie date while Henry was hanging out with a friend. Towards the middle of the movie Emma leaned into Regina and they shared a kiss which turned out to be true loves kiss, and it broke the curse. Now Emma wasn’t surprised because Ruby, Granny, and Regina told her and Henry everything a month after she came to town after finding out about her D.I.D.

With Emma’s magic sometime when an alter comes out she will change appearances to look like that specific alter. It has confused some people who have seen it like Archie since he doesn’t know much about D.I.D. But he got used to it and it didn’t help all that much well the changing of appearances didn’t.

It is a Saturday afternoon a month after everyone has remembered who they really are. Emma is at Grannies with her girlfriend, Henry and Ruby, while all three adults are on their lunch breaks. Snow doesn’t know that Emma and Regina are together and that’s why the curse broke, she just knows it broke with true loves kiss and thought Emma kissed henry when he was sick or something. While they are eating and talking Snow walks in with her 2 years old daughter April, who is charming’s daughter since they were having an affair behind Katherine’s back. Once April sees her big sister, she let’s go of Snows hand and runs to her.

“Emmie, Emmie, Emmie” April say’s as she climbs up on her lap.
“Hey monkey, are you getting something to eat?” Ask’s Emma
“Uh huh gwilled eese” April says
“That sounds so yummy” Regina chimes in and starts tickling her
“ReRe nu tickle nu nice” April say’s and she giggles and squirms in her sister’s arms.

At this point this Snow realizes where April went and comes storming over and tries to take her daughter away from Emma and Regina’s hands. April tries to pull away and with one hang clings to Emma while she cries, because while pulling on her Snow is hurting her.

“Snow what are you doing, don’t pull her like that, she’s not a doll. Look she’s crying and wants me” says Emma and takes

April’s’ arm out of snow’s grip and hugs her, while she buries her head in Emma’s shoulder and cries.

“Emma Snow you do not talk to your mother like that. She is my kid, and I will not tolerate her being around such a bad influence like Regina” she says as once again she tries to take April from her.

“First of all, just because you birthed me doesn’t mean you are my mom, second my last name isn’t and never will be snow. Third the stuff Regina did was in the past everyone has forgiven her except you. Maybe you should try” Emma replies as she hands her sister over to Regina and gets up to have this conversation away from her little sister.

When Snow realizes Emma is walking away, she follows her and grabs her arm and starts talking.

“Do not walk away from me, I am your mom and since I’m your mom your last name is too Snow. I do not like this attitude you have. You need to change it because that isn’t how a princess acts and they defiantly don’t wear ripped jeans, convers and T-shirts.” Snow says

“Get this through your head I am not a princess, I will dress and act the way I always have. You gave up the right of being my mom when you through me away in a tree. I also know that David tried to stop you, but you wouldn’t listen. At least he doesn’t try to change me and loves me for me” Emma says getting frustrated.

“I had to do it to save us from the damn curse and I’m glad I did because it did save us. So, stop being an ungrateful little shit” Snow says very angerly as she raises her hand like she is going to hit Emma.

Once Emma heard those words and saw the hand, she wasn’t in the dinner any more she was back in one of the worse foster homes she was in when she was five years old and that’s when Lilly-Ann came out who is two years old, and their magic changed her size and appearance.

“Who chu? Where wuby, n Wina” Lilly-Ann asks as she looks around.

“Emma stop acting so damn crazy and pretending you are someone else, it was weird when we were friends and now it’s creepy because you change appearances.” Snow says shaking her head.

“Me nu Emma me Wiwwy-ann. Chu meanie me wants wuby or wina.” She says as she starts crying.

That’s when Regina and Ruby both realize what happened and both came running. Regina picks up Lilly-Ann and she rubs her back.

“Shhhh princess of mine your again I’ve got you.” Regina says and then looks at snow when she scuffs

“You need to stop encouraging this type of behavior Regina so do you Ruby this is so ridicules she always does then when she doesn’t like what’s said or a hard situation. I am fed up with it.” Snow says as she starts to walk away to get April.

“Snow how many times have Regina, Emma and I told you that she cannot help it, that this is a disorder she has. Also, where the heck do you think you’re going? I hope it’s not to get April because of the way you have been acting she is scared of you right now because you hurt her arm, she is going to be staying with us until David gets off work.” Ruby tells her
“She has you all fooled. And you cannot do that she is my child” Snow says rudely and angerly

“Yes, she can, she is also a sheriff part time, and I am the mayor plus she asked to stay with us until he gets home, you can have her back when David gets off at 7PM” Regina says as she carries Lilly-Ann back to the table and Ruby follows

Once all three of them are back at the table Snow can hear her baby girls laugh and happiness as she sees and talks to “Lilly-Ann” who she knows is Emma being dramatic. Snow shakes her head huffs and leaves the dinner. Once She has left the five of them order their lunch. A grilled cheese sandwiches and a large vanilla milk shake for the little ones to share, A salad for Regina, Cheeseburger for Henry and ruby and an order of onion rings for them to share. They all happily talk while they are waiting for their food. Once it comes, they start eating and laugh at the two little girls who are happily eating the sandwich and the sake. Once everyone is done Regina calls work and told them she is taking the afternoon off, she also called David to tell him everything that went on and he was pissed at Snow and glad they had April.

About an hour after Lilly-Ann appeared Emma came back to the front and Regina, and she took the kids to the park. Regina sat down under a tree and just watch the two kids and her girlfriend play on the playground and run around. They stayed there for a couple of hours. Once they were all tired, they went back to Regina’s to watch a movie while April napped. Pretty soon. It was dinner time, so Regina made dinner and after they all ate Charming showed up at the door to pick up April, He thanked them once again and they all said goodnight and kissed April’s head. They had a tiring day so around 9 o’clock they all decided to go to bed. Regna and Emma tucked Henry in and said goodnight.

Once they were both in their room. Regina brought up what happened at the dinner. She and Emma talked about it for two hours. Emma was able to process somethings. She also promised she would facetime her best friend and therapist Lily tomorrow. They both said there goodnights and the fell asleep with Regina holding Emma tightly as they sleep.

Finding Out the Truth of Who She Is
Ch 2: Revalations

Regina woke up to her alarm at 6 Am just like every other weekday. As always Emma is using her as her personal body pillow. She is wrapped around Regina like a little kola. Usually, she would be waking up Emma at this time but because she had a rough day yesterday and had three nightmares during the night, she decides to let her sleep. She slowly moves her so she can get up. She is surprised when Emma doesn’t even whine. Once up and out of bed she goes to the bathroom and gets ready for the day. She is finished by 6:55 and decides she should wake Emma up since she let her sleep for an extra hour.

She walks over to the bed and gently kisses her head and whispers in her ear.

“Duckling it’s time to wake up darling” she says softly
“five more minutes Gina” She whines.
“Baby I let you sleep for an extra hour, by the time you shower I will have bacon and waffles ready” She chuckles as Emma throws the cover off her like she knew she would
“Why didn’t you start with that? I’ll be down in a half hour or less” Emma says as she heads for the master bathroom.

Regina chuckles then heads towards Henry’s room to see if he is awake and if he isn’t to wake him up, when she reaches his room, she knocks then opens the door and see’s that he is dressed and was about to head downstairs as well.

“Morning mom” Henry says
“Morning my prince, how did you sleep?” She asks as she hugs and kisses his head
“I slept good, what’s for breakfast?” He asks as they both head towards the door and down the stairs.
“Waffles and bacon” She answers, as they get to the bottom of the stairs

Once at the bottom of the stairs Regina moves to the kitchen to start breakfast, while henry goes to watch morning cartoons before he eats and heads to school.

Meanwhile upstairs while Emma is in the shower, she is thinking about her dream last night that felt more like a memory and showed snow stealing one of Maleficent’s egg that had a moon on it just like the mark Emma has on her ankle, then a male fairy appears and transfers the baby from the Egg into snow and you can see darkness coming out of the egg at the same time and going to the other egg that has a star mark on it just like her friend and therapist Lily has on her wrist and can see that Mal has the star on one wrist and the moon on the other. Mal is screaming and begging for Snow not to do this to her twin girls, but snow doesn’t care and tells her that she miscarried and needed a baby to be the savior, laughs then leaves. While thinking about this very real like dream she ends up dissociating and an alter named Ellie appears who is a fifteen-year-old traumatized teenager who self-harms and has an eating disorder. She ends up breaking the razor and making five deep cuts into their thighs without even registering what they did to their body. She finishes showering and gets dressed into a pair of skinny jeans and a black crop top, with black converse. Then they head into the bathroom and puts on dark thick eyeliner with cat eyes and black eyeshadow.

Once done Ellie skips downstairs not even realizing that the cuts, she has made are bleeding through her jeans and goes to the kitchen. As soon as she smells the waffles, bacon and coffee Ellie leaves and Emma comes back to the front. She can feel something running down her leg once she realizes it’s blood she cusses and gets Regina’s attention.

“Oh, fucking hell” Emma says as she notices the blood and realizes that Ellie must have come out during her shower
“Miss. Swan our son is in the other room please don’t cu—” Regina starts as she turns around and can see what Emma is wearing and why she cussed and gasps
“Sorry Gina, apparently Ellie made an appearance quickly without me realizing it” Emma says with shame in her eyes as she is looking down
“Baby it’s okay, do you want me to heal those for you and change you into a different pair of pants, top and your red jacket?” Regina asks as she comes and gives her a hug and kiss on the forehead.

Emma nods her head, so Regina uses her magic and does exactly that. Once that is taken care of Regina announces that breakfast is ready and for her and Henry to head to the table and she will bring the food right out. Emma, Henry, and Regina start eating and make small talk, before they know it breakfast is done and so are the dishes. Henry heads to the bus, while Regina and Emma say goodbye to him and each other. Before Regina leaves, she reminds Emma that she has therapy at 11:30 then lunch with her and mal at Granny’s. They kiss each other goodbye and head to their cars.

Emma arrives to the station at 9 o’clock. As always, she is the first one there David isn’t set to arrive until 10:30. Since she has the whole office to herself, she turns on some music and starts to get some of the paperwork down that she has on her desk. She is so focused that she doesn’t even realize that David has arrived and started talking to her.

“Emma” David say’s as he touches her shoulder and makes her jump
“Crap” she says as she jumps because he startled her and turns the music off
“I’m sorry I didn’t’ mean to scare you” he says
“It’s okay David I was just really focused and didn’t hear you come in, how are you?” She asks him as she finishes typing what she was working on
“I’m good, I was actually able to get April to sit still to eat her breakfast, while I combed her hair. We even managed to arrive at Seaside daycare on top” he says proudly since he knows Snow can’t even do that when Charming is working.
“That’s awesome Dad. Can you do the patrolling at 11:20? I have an appointment at 11:30 then lunch at 1 with Mal and Gina” Emma tells him
“Of course, sweetie please tell both of them I say Hi” he tells her. Unlike his wife he is glad Emma has found someone she is happy with, and he has never had a problem with Mal. He has no clue what Snow had done to her and her daughters.
“Thanks” Emma says as he heads to his desk and starts working.

Before they know it, it’s 11:20 and David is headed off to patrol. Emma gets up, locks the door and head to the conference room with her laptop so she can have some privacy while she has her appointment. Pretty soon Lily pops up on the screen and they talk about what happened with Snow. Lily knows all about the world Emma is from because Emma told her, plus Emma doesn’t know that when they had their fight and Lily ran away an apprentice told Lily everything and that they were sisters, but lily hasn’t told her yet. She also tells Lily about Ellie taking over and how she doesn’t remember anything only remembers what she was thinking of.

“So, Emma, it seems like the dream you had was something you couldn’t handle and that is why she took over. I want you to go grab some ice to ground yourself with while you tell me about this dream” Lily tells her, and Emma does what she says and comes back

“That does seem like a very disturbing dream Ems. I am going to switch over to friend mode if that’s okay?” Lily asks her very seriously
“That is fine Lils.” Emma responds.
“You know when we had our fight, and I went on the bus without you? Well, I met the apprentice and he told me exactly what you saw in your dream and that it is all true. That’s why when I got the call from you and heard about Story brook, I also offered to be your therapist even though I shouldn’t of because I knew you were telling the truth. The apprentice also told me that you would be dreaming about this when the time is right. All of this is true. You and I are twins and Maleficent is our mother. Snow did steal you and David has no clue. Now that you know are you going to tell her?” Lily asks her
“Yeah, we are having lunch with her today actually real soon and I will tell her and Gina then. No wonder Snow is mean to me and yells, and abuses me when David isn’t around” Emma says and forgets that she never told anyone about the abuse
“Emma what the hell do you mean she abuses you?” Lily asks furiously
“Well yesterday wasn’t the first time she has grabbed me; she has called me a monster and hits me when April and David aren’t around” Emma says, and Lily can see that she is shutting down
“Oh god Emma I am so sorry. I can see this is getting to be too much, so I’ll let you go but please call me later today” Lily says
“I will, bye lily love you” Emma says
“Love you too ems” Lily says as the exit the video chat

Once the video chat is closed out Emma shuts down her laptop and heads out of the sheriff station. She needs to clear her head, so she decides to walk and since it was cold out and she had a tank top on underneath her jacket she took it off, since the cold helps ground her and stay in the present.

Once Emma finally got to the dinner, she realizes that she is 10 minutes late and she really didn’t mean to be. Emma knew Regina hated when she was late but also knew that because she had therapy, she wouldn’t be too mad. She walks into the dinner and spots Mal and Regina in a both and heads over to them and sits down by Regina and lays her head on her shoulder. Regina noticing something is wrong kisses her head and plays with her hair.

“Hey baby” Regina tells her
“Hey Emma” Mal greets her
“Hey Gina and Mal, how are you guys?’ She asks sadly and both older women are worried. Mal knows Emma’s history too since they are good friends.
“I’m good sweetie but I am worried about you, what’s up?” Mal asks her
“Well, I just had a tough therapy session and at the end talked to Lily as a friend and I have found something out, that you Mal know some of but I don’t know if you do Gina” Emma says as she sighs and looks at Emma
“Whatever it is baby you can tell us, do you want ruby to bring you ice water 9or up of ice? Regina asks as she rubs Emma’s back before Emma answered Ruby showed up with ice water and a cup of ice
“Thanks Rubes. You can stay I want my best friend to hear this too, that is if you can” Emma says as ruby sits down
“Of course, I can Granny will understand plus Ashley is here” she says
“Okay, so Gina, I didn’t tell you about one of my dreams last nights because I needed to process it and that is also when Ellie came out because I was thinking about it. Please promise me you guys won’t say anything until I am finished.” Emma says as she drinks some water then holds the cup
“We promise” They all say at once
“Okay here it goes
so, in my dream it shows snow stealing one of your egg Mal that had a moon on it just like I have on my wrist’ Emma says as she shows her wrist, and you can hear gasps
“ then a male fairy appears and transfers the baby from the Egg into snow and you can see darkness coming out of the egg at the same time and going to the other egg that has a star mark on it just like the Lily my best friend and therapist has on her wrist and I can see your wrists mal and they have a star on one and moon on the other” Emma says and looks up and sees Mal showing them
“You’re screaming and begging for Snow not to do this to your twin girls, but snow doesn’t care and tells you that she miscarried and needed a baby to be the savior, laughs then leaves.” Emma says and looks at them and they are all staring and Mal goes to talk
“I’m not done, Lily told me that it was all true because when we got into a fight and went our separate ways an apprentice told her all of this. This is also why she didn’t freak and offered to be my therapist even though she shouldn’t have because she believed me. He also told her that I would find out just when I needed to. I guess he was right because yesterday when Snow grabbed me that wasn’t the first bruise, she has left on me. The night before yesterday when I went over after work to see April, she got mad at me and punched me in the stomach and told me I was a monster.” Emma says all of them at the table are crying

A/N: There you have it the second chapter. I am so sorry it took so long I will try to update faster than this. I also am sorry that I left it at a cliff hanger type thing. It’s 3:19 am and I haven’t slept yet. Plus, I thought this would be a good place to stop
