It's Joonghyuk's birthday soon. Dokja tries to get some help from his best friend.

[Should I make a cake or cupcakes? I don't think pies would suit the day..] He thought while turning his phone off. He decided to ask the soon-to-be-birthday boy himself.
"Hey Joonghyuk" He called out. Joonghyuk was stir frying some beef so he hummed in response, focusing more on the beef he's cooking.
"Which one do you prefer, cake or cupcakes?"
"Why are you asking me this?" He questioned.
"No reason, I just wanted to know" Dokja smiled at him, he's trying his best not to make his questions too obvious by distracting his boyfriend.
"...Cupcakes"
"Oh, I didn't expect you to prefer cupcakes. I guess we really do learn new things everyday" He said and kept his smile.
"..."
"Dinner will be finished soon, wait at the table"
"Yes sir!"

Joonghyuk had set the stir fried beef along with two bowls of rice and drinks on the dining table.
"Let's dig in," Dokja said as he clapped his hands.

"Hmm! The beef is seasoned so well, I really like it, you did a good job." He praised the food and the cook. Joonghyuk felt happy, simple praises that came from his boyfriend made him happy.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it." He softly smiled at Dokja's direction. Dokja ate like a child, [Cute] Joonghyuk thought while staring at his boyfriend.
Time skip : 4 days before Yoo Joonghyuk's Birthday
[Do we have ingredients?] Dokja thought whilst roaming around their incredibly wide pantry. After a few minutes of roaming, he finally found the ingredients. He was only looking in case the ingredients were lacking.
"What are you doing?" Joonghyuk asked, he accidentally stumbled on his boyfriend while trying to get some eggs to cook.
"Nothing" Dokja replied, [Shit, he scared me]
Joonghyuk stared at him for a few seconds. It seems that he suspects his boyfriend. Dokja stood still, waiting for his boyfriend to finish his suspicions.
Joonghyuk sighed, "Okay, can you move a bit?"
"Yep, i'll just go out of here" Dokja swiftly ran out of the pantry.

[I should send a message for a day-off] He thought and stared at the ceiling. This went on for a few more minutes before he finally got up and reached for his phone.

Joonghyuk had just finished showering. The sight always amazes Dokja.
"Do you need another towel?" He asked. He noticed that Joonghyuk wasn't drying his hair with a 2nd towel as usual.
"Hmm"

He got up and went to get a spare towel from their cabinet.
"Here" he handed it while trying his best not to look at his boyfriend's ripped body. Damn, it's too hard.
Joonghyuk noticed where his boyfriend's eyes were directed and decided to tease him. "Like what you see?" He smirked. Him drying his hair adds to the sight, not helping the flustered Dokja at all.
"Just change already" Dokja said, his face slowly heating up. He jumped on the bed and covered his face with a pillow.

Joonghyuk finished changing and sat on his side of the bed.
"Can we stay home for my birthday?" He asked.
"Of course we can, it's your birthday after all. We can invite the others t-"

Joonghyuk hugged him so suddenly that he just laid at the bed very still.
"Let's spend it with just the two of us"
"A-are you okay with that?"
"Hmm"
"If you say so.. Let's sleep early, I still have some work to do tomorrow"
"Goodnight" Joonghyuk kissed his boyfriend's forehead and turned off the lamp and spooned Dokja.

"Hmm?" Dokja slowly got up and sat on the bed, stared at the face that's in front of him for a few solid seconds and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning and happy birthday" He sleepily greeted his boyfriend and smiled softly.
"Thank you" Joonghyuk smiled back and kissed Dokja's light lips lightly. It's nice to start the day like this.

"Why aren't you wearing a shirt?" Dokja asked upon seeing his boyfriend shirtless after changing.
"It's hot today" Joonghyuk replied.
"Really? I don't feel that hot though"
"Do you want to?"
"Haha, no thanks" Dokja ran to the couch and laid down, covering his face with a soft pillow.
Joonghyuk chuckled, he's been teasing Dokja lately. Is it revenge for annoying him when they first met?
"Oh! Let's bake cupcakes today!" Dokja shouted from the couch.
"Is this why you asked me if I prefer cakes or cupcakes?"
"There isn't really a point in hiding it now so yeah. Anyways, let's start baking! We need to make a lot"

"Just for today, I think it's good to spend time like this"

"It looks delicious, can I taste it a little?" Dokja asked while looking at the buttercream. (Please don't eat too much frosting (especially straight from the container) as it can lead to health issues)
"Yes, tell me if it's too dry or too sweet"
"Okay" Dokja scooped a bit of the frosting with his finger and ate it. He licked the excess frosting that was left on his lips. Joonghyuk looked at the scene, it's a bit seductive.

Joonghyuk grabbed his chin and pulled his face closer.

It was very sudden, Dokja's eyes widened. Joonghyuk slid his tongue and explored his boyfriend's tongue. This went on for 30 seconds before Joonghyuk broke it off.
"It's not too sweet," he said. Dokja was still catching his breath, his face was red.
"Why did you do that so suddenly?"
"You took too long"
"You could've waited, you know.."
"Would you let me kiss you again later?"
"Of course, it's your birthday.."

They finally finished baking the cupcakes and packaged it. The day was full of baking and kissing.
